Smaragdi Hotel

Excellent location. 50 meters from the bus station that takes you everywhere to the Island. The rooms were nice and clean. Friendly staff. The breakfast is delicious!

We were recent guests at this wonderful boutique. We used the hotel as our base for hiking the many trails of Sifnos. Very classy set up, ultra convenient for bus travel to all parts of the island. Super friendly team. Best breakfasts on the island by far

Beware cockroaches!! We booked the Family Duplex room, which on the 2nd floor. This experience was especially traumatic because we first saw the cockroach in the bathroom. We flagged the issue to staff on after we saw them the first night, and they went in to clean/spray but we still saw more cockroaches the second night. Left after 2nd night.||Only reason I didn't give it 1* is because the staff was very nice and the location was ideal, but unfortunately cockroaches are a dealbreaker.

Perfect location, our room was modern and very clean. Antonis made us feel at home and offered great tips for beaches, restaurants etc. The breakfast is so delicious with a great range of choice! We absolutely loved it and were very sad to leave!!!

What an amazing hotel. Smaragdi has the best location in Sifnos. Located in Artemonas just next to the bus central station is the best option for couples and family. The breakfast was great. Antonis - the hotel manager is really very helpful and welcome. Rooms were spacious and nice. Definetely we will stay again in our next visit to Sifnos!!!

Really lovely staff, so friendly. Simply delicious breakfast and anything we asked for we had.......Coffee fresh orange juice croissant avocado toast. Nothing was too much trouble and they are so helpful with things to do.|Ask when booking for a new panoramic room. Sadly we had an old room but it was still adequate but the new rooms are lovely.|Margareta taverna practically next door is a great little place to eat. Hiring a car is a good idea for a couple of days as the buses are not that frequent but there are good taxis. Wonderful walks around the village hills.

We stayed in a double room with a small terrace. Bed was large and comfortable, room was simply furnished. The hotel is conveniently located in the cozy village of Artemonas, 15 mins by car from the port. Good restaurants and bars are at walking distance but the heart of the village is the Smaragdi bar. Antonis was really kind with us, trust his suggestions!

Our ‘superior room’ had no space for luggages,. Towels changed every 2d, but the lamp didn’t work all the time. We felt like tapped tourists with poor attention to our needs. There is better for less.
