Smart-HOTEL MINUSIO

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The service is perfect. ||The hotel is very clean.||I recommend this house to all tourists visiting Minusio||Prices are OK for Switzerland. ||You get vouchers with price reductions to eat in very good restaurants of the town.

The room absolutely met our needs and expectations. We sat out on the patio on the first floor to admire the stars and planets late at night and it was very peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room super clean and complete.||What made the experience however was every single person we came in contact with: from the person who greeted us as we considered the hotel and made several requests that were important for our needs/comfort - someone who had just started that week, was there by herself and absolutely was so pleasant and responsive, to the breakfast hostess who went way beyond her italian breakfast culture roots to provide an expansive and impeccable breakfast spread and pleasant conversation, to the manager who additionally helped with some things, providing advice beyond the scope of her hotelier duties. Everyone had a generous and genuine smile and warmth that just made the place feel like home.||It felt like we left a piece of our heart (or at least mine) there in Locarno at Minusio, and while we don't have plans to be back in Locarno, I'm far more likely to return simply because of the people at this hotel.||I can't say enough and just appreciate the fact that they had a room for us and responded with so much grace and hospitality - a big thank you!

We found the hotel very good. It was clean and comfortable. The service was reasonable. The people at reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also acceptable for a three star hotel. The hotel location is very close to the bus station. We recommend the hotel for a short stay.

This hotel does not have AC in rooms while it is 85 F in summer! I booked through expedia and of course I would have never did if I knew. To insult to injury it is infested with mosquitos and I saw ants in my room! I complained during my stay and after they see no fault in that! please stay away from it we had our friends staying for cheaper at nearby hotel with AC and everything! Not what you expect for 240+ Euros a night! not at all! Update after hotel response 7/12 My review is honest you can’t deny having no AC aim rooms and the major issue of mosquitoes. Trust me if I had anytime between check in , attending the wedding and checking out I would not have hesitated a second! I travelled the world and I find the your response as hospitality place indeed shameless! Having 3 people in the room doesn’t make it hotter, doesn’t bring mosquitos if there is not and having NO AC is a fact. I complained there in person at checkin, through the Expedia survey and in person to Manuela at check out. Giving back my sunglasses I left in my room is ABC hospitality, please work on improving the stay at your place and seriously consider addressing the issues by your humble former guest instead of making weird accusations!!!!!!!

We stayed one night and was very good. The atmosphere was great, a very welcoming staff, Diana and Julia |The breakfast was good and the location was very nice. |The room was very clean and nice. |We definitely come back. It is a good location for a lot of trips.

The hotel had very nice staff and was in a good location. You do need a car however to go out for dinner. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Only minor points for improvement, there wasn’t always a parking place and there was no ac in the rooms.

Very nice hotel with great location and excellent service. Ladies taking care of the place are very friendly and warm :)
