Perfectly located, comfortable, spacious, clean, hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to many different areas with loads of bus lines nearby. Nice view. Highly recommend!

The room is moderately sized, enough space for 2 people and plenty of closet space. * very clean room and bath * lock safe, kettle and fridge with daily supply of bottled water brought by staff each afternoon * very comfy bed * good functioning AC/heat * DAILY HOUSEKEEPING * strong reliable WiFi ** good buffet Breakfast, lots of choices hot or cold. GOOD KETO SELECTIONS.🤗🤗🤗 Very good location to explore both the old and new city. Walkable to restaurants / eateries. Some museums are nearby. Short distance from the Port Market.

The location is wonderful and the room was a really good size and clean. Breakfast was good too. The only issue was that the next day we asked the lobby for an extra towel, and they said there were none left. I was surprised,didn’t think this could happen in a hotel!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY Ive never stayed at a hotel where the door and keys did not work it was hilariously bad, everytime i had to come back for a new key and i was given excuses about how i kept my keys with my phone which in all the countries ive ever visited never had this issue, i locked out, spent alot of money and honestly despite the decent room quality, ive never encountered a hotel issue this bad. And the manager just straight up refused to fix it

We really enjoyed our week stay in the Smart Hotel. All the front desk employees spoke English and were very friendly. Our corner room had a lot of space and a small kitchenette. Coffee and tea were provided in the room. The breakfast was the same every morning, but was good and filling. There are many things to do within walking distance. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Montevideo.

Great value for money, attentive staff and decent breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean and big enough to feel comfortable. The gym is tiny but everything in it works well and drinks at the bar were lovely. All good.

Spacious rooms and bathroom, very well equipped with everything you need. Absolutely clean and equipment ist in very good condition. |Very friendly staff, good breakfast and nice bar. It is about fiveteen minutes walking time to the mercado del puerto.|We would always come back.

I arranged for airport pickup through the hotel, but no one ever came. After an hour I finally got a response from the hotel saying that the transport person got the dates confused, so I got an Uber instead. Concerning the room, there wasn't a luggage stand, and the walls were very dirty, even had a dead bug on one. There is a microwave and a mini fridge, but most of the space in the fridge is taken up by mini bar items. There was only one hand towel and one bath towel in the room and the pillows had a very strong cleaner smell. The air conditioning worked well though. If an outlet doesn't work, flip a switch nearby and it usually makes the outlet start working. My room was next to the gym and it was noisy. At 10pm you could hear a blender, a machine running, buttons beeping and music. When you check out they make you wait while they inspect your room before you can leave which is something I'm not accustomed to, and I'm not sure if that's normal or not. There are some restaurants within walking distance. I would not recommend this hotel.
