outstanding new hotel well designed and built. everything exactly as should be in high quality new hotel but still at great price. exceptional value. only complaint to management...just check people in. making them wait for posterity is just plain dumb. rooms are ready and you know it

Great value for money, rooms are excellent, spacious and with modern furniture. In my room there were a few minor wear and tear issues needing attention, like minor paint retouches and the safe was locked. But everything else good, towels thick and clean smelling, same for linen, great pillows, the bed was fantastic, nice coffee area, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Areas outside the room like access corridor and elevators, excellent. The hotel has a small restaurant downstairs.

The hotel is very close to the city center. Rooms are big and nice; keep the tiny reception from impressing you. The staff is quite distant and sometimes needs to be more adequate. I spent two days trying to open my security box in the room, and finally, I found it easy with the proper instructions, but receptionists omitted to give me such instructions. Breakfast is okay, and the staff in the cafe is accommodating. My only big complaint is the cleaning... I don't know if there is a lack of staff, but they do the cleaning very late and extremely quickly, which made me doubt the quality of the process. Towels are an issue; they are not changed even if you follow the instructions to have them changed. |The gym is tiny but enough; there is no water or towels there.

Spacious rooms in a convenient location for exploring the historic quarter. Floor-to-ceiling windows around two walls flood the room with as much natural light as one could desire. Bed comfortable. Check-in took half an hour, which is far too long to prepare a reserved room. Service as a whole was mediocre, but it’s not priced as a luxury property so mediocre was about my expectation. About an hour from the airport by public bus, half that by overpriced taxi. Minutes from independence square.

I’m an American living in Mexico and stayed here for a week. Unfortunately this place was a bit disappointing. The rooms are not bad but mine was not in good repair. The fridge shelf was reattached with drywall screws and fell out while I used it, the outlets in kitchen didn’t all work, the water doesn’t get hot in the morning (only vaguely warm), the kitchen drain had an awful smell, the couch was liberally stained, and one of the barstools was simply missing. That said, apart from the lukewarm water I found all of this pretty manageable. But the real problem is actually the service. Trying to get my room cleaned was practically impossible, it took them 7 hours to deliver a towel after failing to provide any cleaning service all day, when the cleaners finally arrived they didn’t actually clean the toilets or dishes or most of the room. They offered me a bottle of wine and a free meal as an apology the first time this happened, but the service didn’t actually improve. And the cleaners continued to simply not clean. The drinks at the bar are delicious but the food is extremely limited. Thankfully the staff seem mostly friendly and kind. The front desk tried patiently to serve me they just seemed incapable of getting a cleaner to show up let alone clean. Unfortunately I don’t feel like there was great value here. It’s not the most expensive and I was willing to make some allowances, but the service was simply too poor to be allowed. Overall the feel of the place is very “cheap” and the service does not make up for this shortcoming. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place although I feel like with a little more investment and resources the hotel could be quite satisfactory.

The kitchen didn’t have ANYTHING, no cutlery, no stove, no microwave. What’s the purpose of a kitchen then?! Also we didn’t have towels for like 8 hours because they simply ran out of fresh ones. We haven’t even put ours on the floor to change them. On the day of our leaving they came into the room at 8am and wanted to clean, we haven’t checked out by then. We booked the „Loft“ room but were situated on the 1st floor, so not even remotely any „city views“. We tried to change the room, not possible. On top the room smelled like old cigarette smoke. Very, very bad hotel experience that ruined our first stay in Montevideo. The rooms were also loud as hell, had to wear earplugs.

Great bed, flexible friendly staff. We stayed in the loft room and had plenty of space. The hotel was very well-located for a quick weekend of tourism and shopping in Montevideo. We found ourselves mostly within walking distance of everything and the few things that weren't were never more than a quick 10 min cab at most. The restaurant is solid and there were tons of convenient stores, restaurants, etc nearby. Would totally come back and recommend to anyone.
