My stay at the hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The rooms are ideal for ski trips with friends—they’re cozy, comfortable, and perfectly suited for an alpine getaway. Families will also find this place ideal: while compact, the rooms are practical and well-designed, making them a good fit for small families. The hotel itself feels bright, modern, and impeccably clean—almost like stepping into a brand-new space. Every corner exudes freshness and attention to detail. But what really made the experience stand out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive—always ready to help with a smile or a friendly word. It really enhanced our stay and made it feel personal. Overall, this hotel strikes a great balance: perfect for skiers or families who want a clean, modern place with outstanding hospitality.

The hotel is nicely located (about 5 mins drive from Ortisei). We pre-booked for parking in advance so we got one in the underground garage. The hotel also provided a free transit QR code for us to use during our stay (so we need not use our car at all). The room was a bit on the small side. One minor complaint is that there's nobody at reception after working hours. They give you a phone number to message or call if you need anything, but I find it a bit inconvenient when requesting for something. They did get back to me though, but it took a while. A bonus is that they provide drinking water in one of their common rooms downstairs. Saved us from buying bottled water outside. Their breakfast selection was expansive, but a suggestion would be to maybe have their breakfast half an hour early. I believe it opens at 7:30am, but by that time, the breakfast area was super crowded already. Overall, it's a nice and comfortable stay.

Staff weren't the most welcoming, not smiling and were looking at all the foreigners in a strange way (I felt sorry for the people from South Korea), and they weren't very helpful. Most staff didn't speak English which is understandable, however they were very abrupt when trying to use audio via google translate etc. Parking opposite the hotel is convenient. The rooms were nice and so were the shower facilities. Whilst the breakfast and facilities were very good, the customer service is what makes the trip enjoyable. 1 of my colleagues was also spoken to rudely and was told she isn't allowed to fill her hot water container with hot water, which is very strange as it's only water? There weren't many places to eat near by. Although there is a very nice Turkish takeaway opposite the hotel which is fantastic!

Disappointing Stay at Saslong Smart Hotel Saslong Smart Hotel is relatively new — and unfortunately, that might be its only real advantage. The hotel is located outside of the main villages in the area, which makes finding nearby restaurants or cafés inconvenient, especially in the evenings. You’ll likely need to drive for any decent dining options. The rooms are decent in size, but they lack air conditioning, which made our stay uncomfortably warm. Even with the windows open, the rooms remained stuffy during summer nights. The beds were particularly disappointing — no mattress toppers and poor-quality mattresses meant you could feel the springs directly against your back. This led to several nights of poor sleep. Good parking conditions. All in all, I would not recommend spending your money on this hotel if you’re planning a visit to South Tyrol. There are many better options in the region, both in terms of comfort and location.

Very nice hotel! Pity we only stayed 1 night. Breakfast was excellent, different food and loads to choose from and very tasty. Friendly and very helpful staff 👌 highly recommended because location was also very good.

Came here with my family and cousin to enjoy summer in Italy, but this hotel ruined the experience. Bathroom has only a ceiling shower with no shower cap provided—when I asked, they said it’s €2 per piece. Common area rules suddenly changed—staff didn’t allow us to eat there, even though my guide said it was allowed before. Staff were unfriendly and unwilling to discuss. No drinking water in the room, and the bathroom had only tissue and a bar soap. Very disappointing.
