Smart Hotel Saslong - Dolomites

The rooms are very basic, with the bed being the only notable piece of furniture. There are no amenities, except for two glass cups and soap bars in the bathroom. The common areas, however, are modern and pleasant. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The parking is very convenient, and the self check-in system is easy to use.

We stayed for 2 nights on our tour around dolomites. Everything was perfect! Top quality breakfast , good parking for our car and a really warm and clean room! The staff was friendly and polite ! Also the best price around the area !

Very nice and modern hotel. Location is perfectly in front of the ski bus, breakfast is amazing, rooms are new and clean, maybe a bit small. 3 stars hotel which could easily be a 4 stars, also for the price 😅

Very modern hotel, but I did not like that there wasn’t a way to control the temperature from your room. It snowed while we were here and it was so hot in our room. No air conditioning (AC) or heat controls in the room. Their website says to open a window if you need it cooler, haha. The free breakfast was good, but very European/local with cold cuts, cheeses, and breads. The hot food was not too good and the hard boiled egg maker did not work. I recommend serving eggs that are already hard boiled rather than having people hard boil eggs themselves! The breakfast buffet area always felt too small and crowded with people. The balcony light stays on all night and there was no way to turn it off. The curtain was thin so the light shined through all night. There was no fridge in the room. Because it was snowing, we used the balcony as a fridge, but this wouldn’t work some of the year. Parking is free and they have an underground garage.

Loved the room, clean, modern, spacious. Best breakfast! Also tried the Blue restaurant for dinner, and the saslong burger and salad were excellent! Free bus card was also provided to get to surrounding towns.

I was here during middle of august for one week. I had a good experience. The staff is very nice and helpful and the rooms and other spaces are very clean. The breakfast is perfect, over our expectations. Also the parking area works great and is very private. But the wifi is nonexistent, it only works in the lobby. We also wish for longer beds (the extra is bed is very short) and more space to but clothes, we had to put everything on the floor.||To summarize, we are very happy about our stay at Smart Hotel and we recommend to stay here, would be amazing to upgrade the wifi so that it works.

Modern, not fancy, but comfortable rooms, great location, great breakfast, and tasty food for evening meals (no lunch). Fit our needs (hiking) and price. However, only two wines (literally labeled "white" and "red") and two kinds of beer. Also no way to make tea or coffee in room.

Perfect hotel for a few days trekking in the Dolomites. Acceptable price for the location. Modern, minimalist but has all you need. The breakfast was spectacular. And if buses are full you can easily walk to Ortisei.
