Smarthotel Tromsø

The tall guy with the beard at the reception was not friendly at all, as we'd like to store our luggages but unfortunately the locker room was full. Instead of apologizing and finding a solution, he was just ignore us and looking at us with unfriendly face. The stay was good. Room was okay. Location is the best.

The room was pretty small without any bathroom kits or amenities such as a kettle, tea etc. There was no wardrobe but some hangers which work to hang your clothes. It is a small but clean hotel, so do not expect much more than sleeping and taking a shower. There is free coffee and tea at the restaurant 24 hours which is cool.

Honestly, I think if I visited Tromso again I wouldn't stay here. It's not bad, but the rooms are extremely small, and the bathroom is as well. I had to switch rooms in the middle of my trip due to possible bed bugs, but they were very understanding and didn't ask any questions. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful.

It does the job! Budget-friendly option right in the center, so location-wise, it’s great—walking distance to pretty much everything. Rooms are small, but that’s expected. Clean, functional, and has what you need, but don’t expect anything extra. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's fine. The bed was comfortable enough, and the shower had good pressure.. No minibar or fancy extras, but , it's a budget hotel. Breakfast was better than expected—good selection and fresh food. Not a huge spread, but ok quality. Staff were friendly, check-in and check-out were quick through their online options.

We stayed in the Smarthotel for 3 nights, it was an average hotel. Seemed a little unclean throughout as well as feeling cold/dark. It was budget friendly so we weren’t expecting a lot but it was a bit underwhelming. The rooms were tiny and the hair dyer died after 2 mins of drying my hair. It is a good budget option for a short stay, also had a breakfast option which we did not try but looked good.

Simple room, but tidy. For the price I can't complain, the room is too small to spend much time in it. If you need a place to relax you can sit in the lobby which is comfortable enough. Perfect for someone who doesn't expect to be at their hotel except to sleep. Breakfast is pretty good,

This is a more budget friendly hotel. The rooms are decent but very small for 2. The breakfast is good and fresh, the service is great.|The sitting area downstairs is needed as the rooms are small. It is a good area to spend some free time with a drink and a boardgame||We enjoyed our stay.

Don't understand the bunch of crybabies in the latest opinions. This is a cheap accomodation including breakfast. Don't be expecting the suite royale lol. The room is tiny but its whats expected. Nice, comfy and spacious bed. Sufficient room for 1 person. Bathroom is excellent and modern, and has decent space for anyone that isn't severely overweight. Free coffee all the time. Personel is friendly and efficcient. Flawless checkin. A+++ Edit: forgot about the breakfast. It's amazing and has very healthy options. Included if you reserve directly in their website. Unfortunately the coffee is really bad, hope they can make it better in the future.

I'm going to go ahead and give this hotel five stars. It's not considered a five star property, however the room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and while the shower was small, it had great water pressure and that in itself deserves five stars! They serve breakfast and dinner downstairs. I did not partake in any of the dinner, but I did have breakfast each morning I was there and they had a nice selection of food at a very reasonable price.
