SmartRental Collection Gran Via 48 Centric II

Location excellent. Our room seemed to be in shade too so was perfect in hot weather. No terrace, balcony or view or light. |Check in easy. |Breakfast 7am- 11pm and dinner 8pm. Dinner is a menu of 4 choices. Menu doesnt change. Drinks not included. We missed dinner our first night and kindly got it at 630pm the following night as requested earlier. We then missed it the following night. A strict 8pm dinner is not suitable for everyone. |We booked through love holidays so were unable to find these meal times on the website. Breakfast is choice of eggs and some pastries, cereal. Gluten free is choice of eggs and a bread roll and one day there was a gluten free croissant. Dinner and food is on 10 th floor. Lifts take ages to come as only 2. Public will use lift to go to sky bar above restaurant. |Lift requires door fob to work and can sometimes not work straight away. |Rooms noisy with constant noise of a generator , louder than the hustle and bustle of Madrid. There is no pool or terrace as advertised on love holidays. I think when I booked it and put it room requirement , it changed to its other hotel, without the pool. |An apartment for 3 people is 1 double bed and 1 converted sofa bed so affected living space. I’d say it would be cramped for 2 couples. I travelled with a teenager and child. Kitchenette is good, kettle, microwave , fridge freezer. We didn’t use washing machine or hob . Cleaning supplies were handy. There are toiletries for shower. Temperature of shower was very temperamental. There are 3 shops within 5 minutes walking. |The window was hanging off and noticed by maintenance and promptly fixed. |Fire alarm went off twice after 9pm and once at 8 am. |Electricity went off at 6pm one day. But promptly fixed.

This hybrid apartment-hotel was the cherry on the sundae during four perfect days in Madrid. While within walking distance to almost everything, the flat was incredibly quiet, spacious, sparkling clean and had all the amenities one might need including eco-friendly shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the showers, blowdryers, washer/dryer and dishwasher. And the 24/7 concierge was a huge bonus. Truly a superb experience.

Had a GREAT time here, walked the beautiful city for 3 full days from this perfectly located spot! Staff was the best, along with the clean cozy apartment. We could not have asked for a better stay! Pool was a plus and roof top space with bar was a welcome area each day. Thanks Smartrental!

We booked a two bedroom apartment, the apartment was very tastefully decorated, full air-conditioning, kitchenette with everything, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, a coffee machine with pods, toaster, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer, even kitchen roll! The shower room had a rain shower and hand held shower, both very powerful, shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser all provided. The two bedrooms were a good size, bed was big and very comfortable, bedding fresh and clean, pillows good quality, the master bedroom had a balcony looking over the street, a large heat screened TV, both bedrooms had hanging space for clothes. The lounge had a large sofa/sofa bed and another large flat screened TV, small dining table for four people. Over all a very well presented apartment.

I stayed with my family in Gran Via capital. The location is unbeatable, in the middle of everything.|2 bedroom apartment with a view on gran via was spacious, clean with everything you need. Miguel in the reception was very helpful and friendly 10/10. |Breakfast needs a little bit of attention. |I definitely will come back again with my family.

Great central location, apartment was spacious for a family of five. Had all|Self catering amenities we required. Rooftop pool was good to cool off after a busy day. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I came in 2017 and no problem with stay. Came back in December in 2023 and the experience was not good. When I got to the apartment hair dryer was not working and no hot water. Contacted front desk they came and had to replace hair dryer and said that that hot water was fine. Came in at 10:00 pm that same day 12 hours after and same issue. Notified front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything at that time and they had various complaints that it could probably be capacity. Really ? Next day same thing spoke with manager and she said it was probably capacity. I told her how would they fix this issue that could cost them bad reviews and she said basically OK. Would definitely not stay again and was planning to come back with family because apartments are big.

Very nice appartment and rooftopbar, busy rooftoppool, exceptional staff. At night too much noise from the bar and especially the Gran Via. Do bring earplugs. You will need them. One of the best locations in town.
