SmetanaQ Café & Bistro

The place is perfect for your breakfast on a quiet morning. It has a great atmosphere thanks to the minimalist interior and the excellent work of waiters. I recommend booking a table in advance as there was almost a complete table reservation in the morning of the working day. I took a specialty breakfast. It consists of two parts, salty and sweet. It's just breathtaking. Benedict's egg with bacon and avocado toast already fill only his woke stomach. The coffee filter is great for invigorating. And the sweet waffle with fresh strawberries and mascarpone is heading straight into the heart

Had a great brunch here. The food was delicious and the fresh orange juice was good, as well as the waffle. A bit pricy, but that’s what you have to pay for with these location. The restaurant was almost full when we came here around 13:00 on a Saturday.

4 star review for a 3 star experience This is a nice coffee shop - not much more to say. Here you won't get disappointed by bad coffee or poor service, so treat yourself a small break and a bite of cake and a cup of coffee for the road or have a timeout here...

We loved SmetanaQ so much that we went twice during our stay! The service was quick and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible—everything we tried was delicious, but the waffle and eggs Benedict were absolute standouts. And let’s not forget the flat white, which was perfectly crafted. The place itself is gorgeous, with a beautifully aesthetic interior that adds to the whole experience. SmetanaQ is a brunch spot not to be missed!

We enjoy the serene environment near the river. The coffee and desserts are delicious, and we like to stop by here from time to time. The service is also nice. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite places for breakfast or brunch in Prague. Perfect choice of savoury and sweet options, good coffee but I would recommend to try their pink chai latte (I usually get one with a shot of espresso). It is not as perfect as it is exaggerated. The portion is small but delicious. It cannot be said to be budget friendly I ordered first 2 coffee (americano and cappuccino), and then I ate avocado toast and egg benedict. In total we paid 40 euro but the portion of the meal was only a slice of bread, very small.

If you find a spot (you can also book a table in advance) - absolute must for breakfast in Prague. Great space, food and service.

Nice location and views for a chill breakfast. I would come back here. I really liked the waffles they had a unique buttercream on top of them.

A really nice design bistro with beautiful views of the river located right next to the National Theatre. The interior is spacious and modern, designed in the industrial style. When it comes to the quality of food, this is not the greatest...I wouldn not recommend coming here if you expect some exquisite cuisine since this is not what makes the place special. The coffee is ok, their wine and prosecco as well. What I love the most about this place is the atmosphere....

3,5/5 Good coffee, love the cakes and lighter dishes. It's slightly on the pricier side but doable. Love the idea that they serve dinners as well. If you are close to the National Theatre I definately suggest to check it out. The service is on a slower side but hey, 5 more minutes wont kill ya right?

Walked in at 8:20am was told needed reservations but young blonde girl sat us down anyway, since table was available until 9:30am (weird cause place was empty). As I sat down I notice a tall bald guy (waiter/owner???) arguing with blonde girl while pointing and looking over at us. They argued back and forth for about 2 min that's when I decided to give the bald guy the stink eye (thug life). He then walked over and took our order. Not sure what all that was about, don't speak Czech, but made us feel super unwelcomed. Food and coffee was actually really good so three stars are for the food and the blonde girl that was accommodating. Love Prague.
