SmetanaQ Café & Bistro

Very nice coffee & food place next to Fami right on the river side. The space is pretty spacious offering nice pastries meals coffees matcha or drinks. I think everyone can find here something any time of the day. Like the Sunday opening till 8pm too. They are not matcha bar but the raspberry matcha was nice and fresh and not usually crazy sweet which I really liked. The caramel “vetrnik” is this place go to I d say based on how delicious it is and how many people are getting it. Next time I d like to come for brunch here.

Exceptional! Had to leave a review. Chanced upon this while walking down the street and ordered the smetanaq set with all the recommended menu - avocado toast, eggs Benedict and strawberry waffle. Every single dish was amazing, well balanced taste and very value for money. The set came with a coffee of your choice as well. Only thing is that this can seem more like a commercialised cafe rather than a homely traditional Czech style so it really depends on what vibe you’re going for as a tourist!

Amazing brunch spot in Prague! Perfect place with great prices. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Definitely a 5/5 experience highly recommended!

Oh what a place to have a breakfast, i had SmetanaQ brrakfast. Avocado tost, and some egg bacon bread with wafel and strawberries with coffee and it was delicious. The location, the service. It's a bit on a pricie side but worh every czk.

Really love the vibe in this cafe. During our short stay in Prague, we came here twice and each time, the food and service have been wonderful. We managed to be seated next to the window each time. Oh yes, the coffee is great and the dessert too!!!

So comfortable and cozy place to have a lunch, grab some beverages or just study. Very atmosphere and stuff are very welcoming and friendly. So pleasant girl with red hair)

Very good spot, we had the house breakfast and the value for money was insane, we couldn’t believe how good it was. The service was really fast and the atmosphere is very nice with the river view.

Very nice cafe in the tourist area so it might get busy, we had to queue for a while but the staff are organized and efficient and they could accommodate us fast. The food options are interesting and they have modern twist. Meal’s plating looks great it makes you wanna eat it;) breakfast options looked really good but unfortunately we missed the timing for that. Good coffee and displayed desserts were also nice. Nice location and views for a chill breakfast. I would come back here. I really liked the waffles they had a unique buttercream on top of them.

A really nice design bistro with beautiful views of the river located right next to the National Theatre. The interior is spacious and modern, designed in the industrial style. When it comes to the quality of food, this is not the greatest...I wouldn not recommend coming here if you expect some exquisite cuisine since this is not what makes the place special. The coffee is ok, their wine and prosecco as well. What I love the most about this place is the atmosphere....

3,5/5 Good coffee, love the cakes and lighter dishes. It's slightly on the pricier side but doable. Love the idea that they serve dinners as well. If you are close to the National Theatre I definately suggest to check it out. The service is on a slower side but hey, 5 more minutes wont kill ya right?

Walked in at 8:20am was told needed reservations but young blonde girl sat us down anyway, since table was available until 9:30am (weird cause place was empty). As I sat down I notice a tall bald guy (waiter/owner???) arguing with blonde girl while pointing and looking over at us. They argued back and forth for about 2 min that's when I decided to give the bald guy the stink eye (thug life). He then walked over and took our order. Not sure what all that was about, don't speak Czech, but made us feel super unwelcomed. Food and coffee was actually really good so three stars are for the food and the blonde girl that was accommodating. Love Prague.
