Café de las Sonrisas

Really lovely spot! Came in by chance and then worked out it was a place we had read about in some blogs. A great initiative to help those hard of hearing / deaf. Food was lovely, service very attentive. Lots of opportunities to work on your sign language skills too! Really great value too 👍🙌

Great service! Great little open air/courtyard café with sign language translations on the walk. The vegetarian burrito and the bacon egg and cheese panini were great. Nice big portions too :)

A very special, humble place in Granada. Every tourist should visit it. Not necessary for the taste of coffee but to support the excellent idea. We recommend the tortilla espanola from their food menu.

A wonderful place and an even more wonderful project. The staff is very attentive - even though we couldn’t communicate with words, our smiles were the most beautiful connection. I enjoyed browsing through the lovingly curated selection: coffee, prints, magnets, postcards, jewelry, and macramé pieces. The café invites you to stay. I had a melon smoothie and the Spanish lunch, both were super tasty. I’d come back anytime and happily support this special project again.

Very interesting place and I love their mission- helping people with disabilities. The service was with a smile. I got the Desayuno Nica or Plato Nica along with Jugo de Pina (Pineapple Juice) and Cafe. Everything tasted good. If you are in Granada, do visit here to not only support a good cause but also good food.

Enjoying delicious food in a nice atmosphere with great kind customer service. So nice to have this concept where you support local community and in the same time offer good quality services. I ordered an spanish tortilla, ice tea and coffee. The coffee was even way better then the one I had in Colombia. The best is all the personal smiles at you, always treated with a smile.

It is a simple and unassuming place that has a goal of employing staff with disabilities, specifically hearing impaired people. The walls and tables are decorated with sign language translation! Breakfast was fast and tasty and at a good price. It is an open air restaurant and can be quite warm.
