Smith Haven Mall

I've known about this mall for atleast a year but didn't make the trip until today. 1st parking is outdoors with no fees. Weekends seem to get busy so something to keep in mind. Mall its only one level but still has a decent amount of stores and shops along with a food court. There's out door seating so when weather its nice its nice to visit. Corridors and restrooms are kept clean, plus security is on site. Atleast whwm I visited i didn't see any rowdy crowds. You'll find massage chairs, there's a cheesecake factory aswell. Overall i enjoyed my time here i drove from NYC. Definitely worth visiting.

We had such a wonderful time visiting the Smith Haven Mall. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt bright, inviting, and well maintained. The mall was not overly crowded, which made it easy to stroll through the stores and truly enjoy our time together. We began our visit exploring Macy’s, where we found a great selection of clothing and accessories. The staff there was friendly and helpful, which made shopping even more enjoyable. Afterward, we headed over to Dick’s Sporting Goods to browse through all the athletic gear and outdoor equipment. It was fun to see so many options and take our time looking around without feeling rushed. Once we finished shopping, we decided to relax and treat ourselves to some delicious ice cream. It was the perfect way to end the day. The seating areas throughout the mall were clean and comfortable, allowing us to sit and chat while enjoying our treats. The entire visit was peaceful, cheerful, and a great way to spend the afternoon. Overall, the Smith Haven Mall offered a pleasant and well rounded experience with a great mix of stores, friendly service, and a calm environment. We left with smiles, full shopping bags, and a desire to return again soon. I would definitely recommend this mall to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing shopping trip.

Very well put together and a very secure mall where you see security doing their best and cleaning stuff is great. They have wide variety of stores and also a food court with many different options of food. I definitely feel at ease going there with my kids, you can get the kids stroller, which is a little on the expensive side but at the same time my kids love it.

Smith Haven Mall has seen better days. While it still has a decent selection of stores, the overall atmosphere feels dated and tired. Many of the storefronts are empty, giving the mall a somewhat desolate vibe. The cleanliness is also an issue. There was noticeable litter in the common areas, and the restrooms were not well-maintained. It's a shame because the mall has potential, but it needs some serious updates and better upkeep. The shopping experience itself is just okay. The stores are what you'd expect, but there's nothing particularly unique or exciting about the mall. With a little investment and attention to detail, Smith Haven could be a much more appealing destination.

OMG I just LOVE this place it has so much energy and fun vibes! and when you enter you get greeted with such GREAT stores! and you never run out of stuff to do from the shopping too the food! Oh and there was there corn dogs and when I tried them OMG they were just the BOMB 5 stars would recommend coming!

Good mall but limited stores to shop from. Also have some construction going. Hopefully more stores are being added. Plenty of parking available but mall itself isnt anything special.

Good mall! Food options are decent, especially they added a few places recently. Zara is coming which is huge for this mall. Nice brands, no so crowded as Roosevelt's Mall.

It's the mall! So rare to still have a functioning mall these days. And it still has fun little niche shops which is the best part. Minus one star because the floor is cruddy and uneven and the little kiosk vendors are all AI slop fake art now, and dropshipped junk. But the food court is great!

I've been goin to this mall for 15 years and it's the best and the service is amazing and there so much stores to choose for.But the prices are a little pricey but , it's kinda good but too expensive.But it's a great mall !

In the area, a group of us decided to stop at Smith Haven to kill some time, and this mall stood out based on its selections and also how kept up and clean it looks. Only a one-floor mall, the square feet of it are huge, with plenty of stores and services to provide. I'm happy to see the mall thriving, busy, and almost packed with people going their business. It's too hard to get lost in this mall because there are only four hallways that meet at the center (intersection). Of course, take advantage of the mall map. Also worth noting, there is also an outside section of the mall, which I've never encountered. There's a number to choose from in that part of the mall. This mall passes, and definitely won't go anytime soon.

Management needs to stop being cheap and turn up the AC! It's cooler outside in the 80 degree weather than it is in here!!! People are leaving the mall! Wake Up!!!!

***My review is based solely on Showcase store. I do NOT believe Smith Haven is a bad mall.*** I brought my daughter into Showcase. She found a toy she had been looking for, but the price was nearly triple what other stores were asking!!! A toy that is normally $8.99, they were trying to sell for $18.99!!! Many toys were open and had been taped sealed to pass as 'new'. (Thankfully, FYE had a better selection and was asking for the normal retail price. Game Stop also carried some these toys for the retail price.) Really disappointed in Smith Haven Mall for having this kind of store.

I would love to visit Japan for the Japanese culture, items and food but it's such an expensive trip l cannot do at the present time . I went to the mall this past week for the 1st time in almost a year ( yes because I work 12 hour days and no time for mall shopping) I was surprised to see so many Japanese stores. They actually have crane games, gachapon and all things I enjoy watching YouTube for. Now I can imagine what it's like for when I do get to visit Japan. But for now it's curbing that feeling of wanting to visit just a little bit until l can actually go to the country of Japan.

Malls good but the bathrooms!!!! Yuck!!! The JFK airport has cleaner bathrooms than that. Truly disgusting. Needs a re-do asap

Over priced food court food went to the Chinese food spot right when you walk in on the left side. Horrible food, horrible customer service would never go there again.

Always clean well kept and accommodating. I truly hate the mall but when you are down on time and in a jam I do find it always to be a successful trip. Still a good selection of stores. I did notice that JC Penny's was gone. It was sad. Nothing in its place as of yet. There were also less Pop UP stores in the middle of the halls. I was under pressure to get something my daughter and I could agree upon that would be a good fit for picture day tomorrow at school. We ended up at GARAGE. Here are some pic's. In and out in about an hour so I would say successful trip.

Cool mall if you have the time to look through them all. I did wish they had a few high end stores but overall I come back with the terms and hit up P.F Chang's

I've haven't even here in years and I was impressed by how this place has evolved. So many new and modern stores that cannot be found elsewhere. Loved it.

Large suburban mall with a food court and endless franchised restaurants great children's playgrounds. A new more personal sitting and resting spots full of high end sofas chairs and flat screen TVs for non shoppers to occupy there time. Festive decor for the holidays. 1- Huge Negative there are NOT enough Restrooms. 2- They allow marketing companies to place a So Called Giveaway Car, which never gets Given Away Then Sells your private information to a marketing company to solicit for Time Shares or nonsense Travel. The mall should require a Full Disclosure Signs stating they are reselling your private information. Or remove them all together it's total nonsense and no ones interested in these SCAMS.

It is a clean nice size mall. However, I do not see how the size is any different from the South Shore mall in Bay Shore. I do however, think this mall has one up on the mall near me only because this mall has Hot Topic, FYE, Game Stop, and a store by the name of Newbury Comics. Newbury Comics store is clean and organized. The buy 2 get 1 Funko Pops free is an attention catcher for collectors. It was worth the 20 minute drive. My son enjoyed this store more than the other stores in this mall because it was easy to locate items. It has a little bit of everything in there. Game Stop in this mall looked empty. It did not have much of anything. The food court was okay. Not much variety on food choices.

i will be notifying the cops. i met four hood being homophobic. i feel targete and like these kids say " when i see you , its on sight" (if you see this) i also met 3 young ladys and we smoked majuana outside , best day ever . overall the majuana was amazing .

A really great mall a must look at for sure, it's got tons of great stores, the best Barnes & Noble I've seen and a great food court!

One of my favorite malls. One of the few places I have shopped at this holiday season that had Christmas music playing. Sets a nice atmosphere.

It's one of those malls which branches out in the middle and has additional shops on the outside. They've done alot of renovations to this mall. If you're into comics and collectables like funko figures they have newbury comics, fye, and thinkgeek now. They have plenty of restuarants too. Texas de Brazil, California pizza kitchen, cheesesteak factory, Bobby's burger palace, bahama breeze, etc. Sur la table is across from omaha steaks and glow off, located in the inlet of "lifestyle village" near dicks sporting goods. Sur la table offers cooking classes there, making it a cool date night location.

Hi Friends, The Smith Haven mall is centrally located in lake Grove on Long Island. We Love The Smith Haven mall! Rainx, shine, storm or snow. The Smith Haven has always have been such a GREAT place to spend the day. The Smith Haven mall has a wonderful selection of stores and is a comfortable upscale indoor venue that you can shop, relax and get a bite to eat either at the inside food court or many close by restaurants. there's just so many nice upscale places here like Macy's, Michael Kors, Victoria Secret's, Godiva chocolate and so many more. Wife loves to come here and spend the day. She is in her element ..coupons in hand. It's like a marathon as she visits almost all of the shops. Smith Haven Mall is a great place to come to shop for the holidays. we just spent a few hours here on the Black Friday got some great deals and weren't smothered by crowds. Thanks to the professional Security here. I saw them on parking lot Patrol and inside on segways with helmets. Plenty of security, we felt very safe as I shopped. We got what she needed and got out of there without any traffic. We both love shopping atl The Smith Haven mall.

The smith haven mall is a nice mall but I can't stand the mess that is in this mall, there are dozens of garbage bins that are overflowing in garbage just pure garbage. Oh and don't get me started with the Food court, It's so dirty and disgusting I don't think you can lay 5 minutes in there. Oh and if your a girl this is a good mall for you cause there is aloe of stores for girls (am not mad about that) highly disappointed in this wast

This place is clean and well maintained. I love almost all the stores in here and I never have a hard time finding anything here. The stores here have more than other malls that are closer to me, I always have a good time when I'm here

I have been coming here non stop since I was a little girl. Took pictures with Santa here, very wide selection of stores. It's amazing. The reason I give it only 4 stars instead of 5 is for the very few times I had a problem in this mall. The American Kennel Club has got to go. Those dogs are sick and hundreds of people who didn't know where these dogs came from were heartbroken when the animal they purchased died suddenly. A few years ago, a friend and I went into gizmos and gadgets and we were about middle school aged with no adults with us. Manager kicked us out immediately upon entering. Why? We were two young girls not making a mess or causing a scene?

i used to love the mall, then they took cherry coke out of the vending machines. #bringbackcherrycoke

This is by far my favorite mall in Suffolk County. The size and beauty of this place is unmatched. Every time I come to "Smith Haven Mall" I feel like I find something new. It's very spacious and the climate controlled facility is perfectly set. The mall is full of today's trendy store. It's definitely a mall you spend the day at with friends. I come her to visit the Apple Store or when I want to buy my shoes from Aldo. If you've never been to this mall make the trip. It's definitely second place compared to Roosevelt Field Mall. Might I add they have plenty of spots to grab food. As a Yelper I know, there's work to do.

My favorite mall in Long Island. They have a lot of stores here that I like to shop at. The mall is clean and always lots of parking. They have plenty of restaurants and new opened a Texas De Brazil. The Macy's is pretty big and very organized. I always come to this mall and find exactly what I'm looking for and better. The mall is situated in smith town which is great because they have plenty of other stores around. Definitely a must if your looking to get in and out. The store is great for families. The mall is not crowded which is how I like it.

I love this mall! I grew up in smithtown and I have always been very happy every time I come here and wouldn't wanna shop until I drop. This place has all of the stores I like so I'm happy I really never have to go anywhere else but I do enjoy going to the outlets for cheaper stuff :) I love the food court and the options they have although I think they can cut down on the Chinese stuff since we have more then one Chinese place at the food court besides that not too many complaints!

This place is huge, so many stores and food options. My first time here but not the last!!

This is a nice little shopping mall. We drove out here to visit Dick's to pick up some bikes my husband ordered for himself and my son. It was easy to navigate inside the parking lot, probably a lot easier since it was close to 9pm on a week night. After stowing the bikes in my we headed to Cheesecake Factory for din before driving back home. We may return in the future since my son attends Stony Brook University and the mall is a stone's throw away from campus. They have a nice selection of stores and everything looked clean and nice. They maintain the area well.

I usually stop in this mall because they have an eyebrow threading spot ($12) which is actually kinda hard to find around Long Island! The mall jtself is smaller than other malls in LI (ie Roosevelt field). The food court is pretty small, but I guess it's because there are restaurants on the outside area (ie. The Cheesecake Factory, Bahama Breeze, PF Chang's, California Pizza Kitchen, IHOP) so not many people eat in this food court. There's a Starbucks nearest the Apple Store, so if you're waiting for your Genius Bar appointment it's nice to grab yourself a cup of coffee here since it's convenient. There's a lot of space to walk without bumping into people and there are seating areas placed around the mall. The best feature of this mall: the puppy store! You can play with puppies and purchase them if you want! I always leave wishing I could just buy one of these doggos. There's a Sephora but I've recently transitioned to more of an Ulta shopper since they carry more brands (i.e. Kylie cosmetics, Colorpop, etc.) so I would generally skip it, drive 2 minutes to the Ulta nearest the Trader Joe's. The selection of stores isn't the best, but if you need something really quick I'm sure you'd be able to find it. Right now there are a lot of pop-ups because of the holidays, which includes a Lululemon pop-up and a Lego toy store pop-up. The holiday hours are also longer for the month of December, so it's pretty nice. If you're looking for gifts and plan on going to the Pandora, make sure you get on the line they have outside of the store (it gets pretty busy on weekends).

Have not been here since the 1990s (I think). Yet another over inflated mall that caters to mostly women and teenagers . The Barnes and Noble was nice to see and the FYE store had some REALLY cool t-shirts (The Shining, The Exorcist , other horror movies). J.C. Pennys is going out of business so their A.C. was turned off and it was STUFFY and horrible in there. I miss the old Smith Haven with the Movie theater and McCrorys.

Here's the Scoop: This is one of my favorite malls. There's seating if you're tired,l love the new stores especially ELF and Bare Minerals. I don't go as often as I would like but i love Barnes & Nobles which I visit often,Cheesecake Factory, Bonefish and JCPenny. I like that they are changing the atmosphere with new furnishings. The food Court isn't bad, your usual. Lots of sales throughout the mall. Wear comfortable shoes if you're going to walk the entire mall. Check this mall out, it's a nice mall to see the trends in styles and window shop. Enjoy!

A solid local mall with plenty of store choices, there's definitely someone for everyone - tech stores, clothes stores, stores for older people, and some for younger people. Though, as of late, there has been some things shutting down, I believe JcPenny's officially closed and it seems like Sears is always one step from being closed, but other than that, there are still some nice smaller stores. There are plenty of food choices within the parking lot and in the food court for when you're hungry while shopping. There's plenty of parking, even during the busiest times you can definitely find a spot. The bathrooms here are generally in okay condition, not as good as I'd like, but they aren't terrible for a mall bathroom.

Well all I have to say is... I like this mall but... the tables in the food court are disgusting and asking a member that worked at one of the places, if they had napkins?? They tell my son "oh you have to buy food" seriously???

Favorite mall in Long Island. Not too big but not small either. I don't run into anybody I went to H.S with and I always find parking with no problem. They have a lot of stores which I am a fan of. Also there's 2 plazas literally next to it that have additional stuff as well.

This mall is good for all the middle class type stores they have in comparison to other malls I've been in. The food court has a typical selection of food along with a few restaurants like P.F. Chang and California pizza kitchen. The only things is the amount of kids running around is absolutely out of control. I am docking the whole two stars on that alone. The security guards frankly don't give a shit and don't do their job. 14 year old kids just should not be allowed to literally run around the mall and get in everyone's way! It's extremely annoying!

The amenities ate far more than I expected. The bed is extremely soft and cozy. The customer service was outstanding as well

One of the best malls on Long island after Roosevelt Field mall. It is fairly small but has everything you need in one floor. I just miss when they had Uniqlo. The mall makes navigation very easy considering the mall has only four real corners so you don't have to turn much unlike some other malls.

Smith Haven Mall is a great collection of stores that continues to evolve and change with new store and amenities. This mall is safe, clean, and offers plenty of parking with tons of access without the headache of a parking garage. This mall is perfect size to walk with children and is bright and airy with tons of natural bright light.

While I didn't see the entire mall, I saw enough of it to know that it's a pretty cool mall. I definitely liked the size of the Macy's, much bigger and better and loaded with merchandise that I will NEVER know the likes of in California (where I live). I also liked some of the satellite shops that we don't have either (such as Call It Spring, Violets Blue, Dynamite, and Cotton:On, to name a few). It was at this mall in the Starbucks that I actually found a berry hibiscus tea that I never knew existed. There's a nice grouping of restaurants, some unique to this region, like Bobby's Burger, which I tried on another visit. I know there's a movement of people that think all malls are the same, but I don't take that view, especially with malls like this one.

More and more closed stores in this mall. Now even the old standbys such as Penny and Fridays are shuttered. Macys is ib desperate need of remodeling and you never know what the next food court place will be closed. Remaining stores are redundant and offer the same thing over and over. Waste of a trip

Great mall, big with four "wings." Awesome food court. The new addition has outside seating for Cheesecake Factory. I love the wine bar towards the end which is great after shopping all afternoon!

Went to the Macys that was located in the Smith Haven Mall on Saturday had picked up a few things and was waiting for my sister in law to meet up with me . So i asked one of the cashiers in the Men's Department if she can hold on to my merchandise while i took care of other errands with in the mall when i came back i went to the the mens department to pick up my stuff the cashier was not there so i asked the one that was there if i can lease have my stuff i put on the side she was very rude made feel like trash, did not answer me looked at me like i was Crazy or had some kind of disease than she told me very cold that she had nothing without looking! I went all over the men's department for about 10 minutes nothing finally went back and pleaded with the other cashier who than said i will check the back! Sure enough my merchandise was there! My only regart is that i did not get this lady's name or report her to her supervisor ! Very upset and she really hurt my feeling by making me look bad! Second time i get a bad experience in Long Island just hope there are no more

Needs more stores. I come mostly for the food court. But this mall definitely needs a lot more stores. Compared to other malls they don't have much

Busy, depressing... and while there have been some nice remodels and a few great quality additions, I find there to be serious lack of quality shops. Can we replace some of the tacky with some more classy?

Normally I avoid all malls in the suburbs like the plague. Dropped in this past weekend to kill some time while visiting family. Had been a long time since I had been here and much has changed, but somehow eerily seems the same. Yes, there are many new stores to shop at and restaurants to eat at, but it still looks like a generic cookie cutter mall. Same idiot mall cops walking the corridors, same carts with useless junk, same moms and suffering looking dads pushing baby carriages around, same annoying screaming kids running around, same idiots with their pants down past their asses showing off their underwear, same zombie looking people everywhere. I swear, this mall could be the setting for the Dawn Of The Dead movie. At least there is a new outside shopping pavilion, so I guess it is nice to shop when there is nice weather out, but there are not that many stores out there. Food court is just the basic fast food crap. Cheesecake factory is nice to have here. That is pretty much it. Not much makes this place stand out. Only go there if you must, but avoid otherwise.

This Mall is just ok in my opinion. There are plenty of stores & food court options but I feel like this place is always extremely crowded and the employees aren't overly friendly. There's plenty of parking but the later on in the day you come, the farther away you will be parking. Near the holidays this mall is a complete zoo! I think it's too crowded for my taste and the kiosk workers in the middle of the mall are WAY too pushy. Like I said above...there are plenty of dining options but they are all pretty much the same chain food, high calorie, over priced non sense. I would much rather shop online...more convenient, better deals, less people in my face!

It's the mall I've been going to and frequenting for all of my life. Yes it's changed but they still need to step it up in my opinion. Once blighted the Sterns and A&S area (yes I remember those days) is now a cute Outdoor Village. Not so cute when it's freezing cold out or raining. But it has one of my favorite stores. Sur la Table! The only anchor store I personally shop in is Macy's. I wish they'd bring a Lord & Taylor out here or a Bloomingdale's as one of the anchors. I know they're not too far but man would I love to jump in my car and be in L&T in less than 15 minutes. The stores are pretty much run of the mill these days. Who remembers the days of Sssassy (the store that had all the Sanrio stuff in it)? Or the cookie place? Or the movie theater! AHHH good times good times. Anyway I will still continue to do my shopping here since its not too far from me. Just maybe step it up a little Simon mall properties instead of building all these food places though I do love PF Changs & BBP!
