We intended to stay for only 1 night. Loved the place so much we stayed for 3. The room was nice and clean, and the kitchen had everything that you would need. Including a good BBQ on the balcony. Excellent choice of T2 tea and coffee. All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful with everything we needed throughout our stay. It was nice to have a good restaurant at the front of the resort. Fantastic breakfast and dinner. This is our new favourite place to stay when we go down south. Can't wait to come and stay again. Thank you to the whole team at Smith Beach Resort. You made our little getaway very comfortable and relaxing.

It is without a doubt the best place we've ever stayed in the Southwest. The Smiths Beach Resort is well worth the money. It has a beautiful view and impeccable service. Upon checking in, the staff not only wished us a belated happy birthday but also took note of all the small special touches, including a handwritten note, a bottle of Champagne, complimentary Margaret River coffee beans, and milk. We encountered a small problem when attempting to operate the air conditioner, as we were unaware that we needed to press all the buttons in each room. Within a minute, we had service staff come to demonstrate how to operate it. On site, the food and wine at Lamont's restaurant were absolutely beautiful. We loved staying here so much that we extended our stay for an extra night from 2 to 3 nights. We most certainly plan to return soon. Thank you, Smith's. |||Brooke and Luke

We a family of 5 stayed for 2 nights during winter. We happened to have beautiful weather during our stay. Location is right across from the beach. They have a tennis court, which we took full advantage off and played on a few times, we all had fun. They have a heated pool, which we decided to test out and it definitely was a very relaxing swim, plus they had heaps of chairs and x2 sun beds. The accommodation was perfect, x2 bedroom fully self contained. 1x queen bed with our own split system. The Second room x2 bunks sleeps 4 and own split system. Plenty off room in the bedrooms. Bathroom had decent size shower, with heating for when you get out. Plenty of towels and soaps. Also had a washing machine/dryer in the bathroom. Kitchen was full of all the needs for cooking breakfast and dinner. They also supplied a vacuum, mop, broom, washing liquid and laundry liquid, iron and ironing board. Easy access to the cabins, with parking right next to the cabin. The restaurant for breakfast, food was delicious. We also dined for dinner. The ladies in the reception were a delight and helpful

We are from Melbourne staying at Smiths Beach Resort, (return guests) for a relaxing break and to enjoy the wineries. The resort is lovely, stylish yet unassuming, nestling itself into the natural surroundings. The apartments themselves are beautifully designed, well-appointed with fully equipped kitchen including outdoor BBQ. The outlook is truly spectacular and directly across the road. Couldn't get a better location!

We managed a last minute booking here for one of the 'beach shacks' on our little road trip around the Margaret River area. The reception staff were quick and friendly, air conditioning was on when we entered the apartment and there was fresh milk and beautiful ground coffee ready for us to use. Well appointed 'shack' with great linen and soft fluffy towels. We could ask for extra towels any time we wanted (for pool and beach). The beach across the road was fantastic and nothing like a dip in the ocean then a lounge in a heated saltwater pool afterwards. The breakfasts we had at Lamonts were excellent.

Apartment back and front on the living room level. Private Courtyard off master bed on ground level allowing natural night air to aid a good nights sleep. Beach across the road with the cape to cape walking trail on its doorstep allowing a taste of the walk or for more serious hikers to step out a longer leg. A decent walk through the bush could be rewarded with a beverage at Caves house but wouldn't recommend doing that at night. |overall we had a really nice stay and Denise and Regina were most helpful.

I booked Smiths Beach Resort for a business trip for my group of 20 people so I booked a combination of rooms. Mine was the 1 bedroom garden villa room, which was very spacious. It had a great BBQ and entertaining area for easily 6 people. It’s a shame that it didn’t have a sofa bed coz otherwise it’s a great space for a family of 4. It’s so close to the beach, I’ll have to bring my family back when the weather is warmer and I want to enjoy that newly renovated heated pool. We also utilised the conference room for our meetings over the 2 days and were very well taken care of by the Lamonts team, who manage the onsite restaurant. Food was delicious and the risotto melted in our mouth - lots of excellent feedback from my team. Thanks Ishara, Emmanuelle, Dani and David for always adapting to our team’s evolving needs! Overall, it’s 5 stars from me for service, friendliness, efficiency and a fabulous resort! Big thanks to Denise, Gemma, Regina and Katie - it was fab to put faces to all you lovely people that I have been emailing for so long with the lead up to my conference.

Yelp
Absolutely relaxing stay with so many perks!. Qantas had a winter special offer here: 2 nights at 250 each night, free breakfast and credit at Lamont's, wine tour , wine and free coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Lamont's with excellent service. Close to the beach as well. It was a good place to do a section of the Cape to Cape. Will plan on coming back for a longer stay! Check it out before it's ruined by an American property developer.

Yelp
Stayed at Smiths Beach resort for 3 nights, although not cheap ($300 per night on peak season) can be good value if you come with more people. The self contained beach shack sleeps 6 people, has washing machine, BBQ, dish washer, air con and DVD player. The customer service is outstanding, staff very attentive and helpful. There is a cafe and a restaurant in the resort. This is an amazing spot, the reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there are no ocean views (for the beach shacks) and feels a bit crammed together.
