The main building and original Smithsonian museum that has grown into a massive and most comprehensive museums in the world. The original building has notable historical architecture itself. It was built in a classic European castle style. Beautiful grounds and some great photogenic views from different viewpoints

I recently visited the Smithsonian Institution, and it was truly an amazing experience! The gardens were breathtakingly beautiful, with a stunning variety of plants and flowers on display. The gardens were meticulously maintained, and the scenery was perfect for a relaxing stroll🌸🌹🧡

Beautiful grounds. Unfortunately, it is currently closed for a remodel. Lovely area with flowers and plants to enjoy!

It's getting a 4 because the World Wars exhibits don't open until 2026. Still a great way to spend an afternoon.

Although the Castle was closed, the outdoor gardens were open. Beautiful space and well tended. The area is safe and near to all the other Smithsonian museums. Hoping to return one day when the Castle is open again and see James Smithson's tomb!

I love it, free admission to museum lots of exhibitions, butterfly section Tuesdays are free admission and so much fun for adults and kids. Museum has little bit everything you can ask for.

The Smithsonian Castle is one of the many Smithsonian buildings located on the Mall. It is fun to view with its unique architecture and the beautiful garden that surround the Castle. Often times tourists are more focused on the other Smithsonian Museums but this is a great one to relax or to eat outside nearby.

The fact that we ALL have access to this is mind-blowing. The best place to go. The work done by so many scientists and professionals is a gift to the future generations. Best experience. The world need to know more. The American embassies in the world should promote this experience. Unlimited resources to learn and grow.
