Smitty's is the most racist bar in Pittsburgh. My sister and I went in there to have lunch and my sister said damn. And out if no where this white lady came up to us and said " we don't speak like that around here. ( remember: we are the only blacks in the bar and there's about 20 white people in the bar). Another day, it was my birthday, so about four of us ( all black and one white) went to smitty's and everybody at the bar drinks where served in glasses but us. We received plastic cups. Even the white guy that was with us. There was even a dog sitting at the bar. NO JOKE! Now yesterday ( April 7 2015) my boyfriend went up there to get a pack of cigarettes. You have to ring the door bell to door bell to get in at a certain time. He rang it about 5 times they did not let him in. So we stepped away from the camera. A white man came, rang the bell a was let in. Now today (April 8,2015) we went to buy a six pack and again they wouldn't let us in. Racist people. If you don't believe what I'm saying, here are the people whom can vouch for me ( please look us up on Facebook) Marcy Fleming, Tonya Fleming, Timothy Stephens, Eric Stephens aka bokim, Mildred majica, erraina Crosby, and Calvin reaney ( the only white guy with us) we was all discriminated at this bar.
