Smokey Joes BBQ

So I will say I was skeptical. As a southerner we often think there's no good barbecue outside of the South. However I was pleasantly surprised with this spot! The ribs were fall off the bone tender. As a bit of a BBQ enthusiast I tend to avoid cooking mine that way but I must say the ribs here are good and the sauce was tasty! The Owner (I assume) was very pleasant, and it was great exchange while I waited. He gave me a whole heap of ribs and could barely close the container!! Service was prompt and I would definitely recommend this as a stop for lunch if you're in the area! Just make sure you bring your appetite!

I went here for a quick bite with my friends after work. The owner was really nice and prepped the food very quickly. The BBQ was delicious and the ribs were fall off the bone tender.

Going back real soon. Feed the whole family 10 meals plus appetizers. Great food truck great food

Food was good but workers are absolutely horrible. Rude and nasty is being nice. Prices apparently aren't even posted right so be careful ordering. We go to the brewery a-lot but will definitely not be ordering from this food truck again with the nasty people behind it.

My wife and I usually order from Smokey Joe's about two times once we had the ribs and the other time we had the brisket combo everything was great. The meat is so delicious and the brisket combo comes with beans and macaroni and cheese. The brisket is mouthwatering and it's so tender, I tell you it's better than most places out there definitely go to spot

I REALLY hate to do this to a local business, but it needs to be shared. i went to this place on a recommendation because I asked on FB for a good local BBQ place. I was told about this place but the person had never eaten there. I wouldn't post this review like this if it was just ok...but this was AWFUL. I got a brisket plate, a pulled pork sliders, Mac and cheese, beans, corn fritters and fries. (Sharing with my daughter and I wanted to really try a few things) I should have known things would be bad the second I saw the guy pour bbq sauce literally filling half the container... the "brisket was DROWNED in sauce and the reason is clear. It was AWFUL. I don't know when this was cooked... but it definitely wasn't fresh. It was fatty, dry shoe leather. It was literally the worst "brisket" I've ever had. Brisket should be served with NO SAUCE. It should be a beautiful, tender piece of meat with a pink smoke ring. NOT whatever this was. The pulled pork appeared to be old. It was dry and flavorless. The Mac and cheese was thin and bland. The beans and corn fritters were decent and the fries were actually good. This atrocity cost $61 (I tipped 15% because it was pouring and I appreciated these guys being out there) I had such high expectations, but this was an insult. I am genuinely upset that these guys are serving this to people.

I get it, it's a food truck at a brewery what do I expect. Idk maybe quality or decent service like the 1000000 other food trucks out in the world doing their thing. At least have a little customer service considering your a leech of another business capitalizing on a great spot. The only thing worse then the low quality ingredients was the absolute lack of customer service. Don't do a backflip but at least seem engaged, not slumped on your phone like i just inconvenienced you. And the helper or whatever with the fake teeth he takes out before staring at a woman's body as she walks buy was just the icing on the low quality cake, a creep through and through. If you want terrible food with terrible customer service as a man holding his teeth eyes up whatever woman your with then Smokey joes is the place to go Appropriately located in near multiple dumps. Over priced. Just not worth it.

great food! amazing popcorn chicken, probably the best i ever had. wish i took pics of everything, so delicious!
