Smokey Moo

Went there on Saturday 24 January with family for birthday celebrations. Great food. Beef cheeks, brisket, short ribs, pastrami would just melt in your mouth. Sweet potato and potato chips super crunchy. The cob salad was really fresh and completed the meal. Wholesome place for family and friends to share awesome meals. Will be back 👌

The dirty dozen platter was good with flavour and variety. The let down here was both the tacos and the service. We very obviously got served the old or left out tortillas, they were dry and cracked. They were also a little on the small side for the fillings given, everything fell out of them while eating. Review of these processes would help. We were greeted promptly but not informed of whether to order at the counter or if someone would be by to take it. We had to guess and were wrong. No one came by to check on the meal to make sure we were satisfied - in fact we were walked past multiple times. It felt like it made no difference whether we dined there or not.

Called for a last minute booking, we were lucky as kitchen was closing within 30mins. When we got there we were met with great smiles and customer service. We ordered and got to watch our food get prepared, the smell of the food was definitely an indication of what was to come. Every bite was delicious and flavoursome. We definitely will be back.

That day, the brisket was dry. The pastrami and the beef cheek were very good. The Smokey moo jus was delicious. The fries were good.

We had our wedding reception here and the owner was so accommodating and lovely. The food and ambiance was great! Even though it’s surrounded with other pubs/restaurants you can still chat and hear each other😍 I have recommended Smokey Moo to my freinds and they loved it as well💪🏻✨

The meat was incredibly tender but still packed with flavor, and it had a slightly firm outer layer that added texture without making it tough. It was honestly one of those must-try spots in Brisbane! Great taste, great quality, and worth the price for what you get. I’d definitely recommend it.

This is my first-ever Google review, and it’s because this place really deserves it. The smoked BBQ here is the best in Brisbane. The chef is extremely skilled, and every piece of meat is unbelievably tender and juicy — especially the ribs. They’re just amazing.

Easily the best smokehouse I’ve been to. The brisket was incredibly tender and full of flavour, the ribs fell off the bone, the pastrami and beef cheeks were perfectly cooked perfectly. The smell of the smoked meats when you walk in is amazing. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were really friendly. As someone who loves good food and a great vibe, this place definitely delivered.

Beef lovers delight! This chefs at this unpretentious eatery at East Brisbane/Kangaroo Point really know how to cook beef. The brisket, pastrami, beef cheeks and beef ribs are smoked and cooked to perfection. The meat just melts in your mouth and is full of flavour. The portions here are very generous and it's all very reasonably priced. The salads are very good too! The food came out very fast even though it was busy.
