Google
Locally owned BBQ hot-spot featuring all the smoked meats and a long list of house made sides & desserts. Ordered a smoked half-chicken plate with potato salad & wedge side salad and a ribs plate with a baked potato and fried okra. All aspects were fresh and to temperature. We finished off with a blackberry cobbler and peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The toast was awesome, and I love the unlimited pickles & raw onions.

Google
Five stars all around. This place has fabulous food and great people. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order or do here, there’s indoor and outdoor seating and all of it is easily wheelchair accessible. Highly highly recommended! Get the French fries.

Google
The ribs are sooo good, and with the okra...perfect. We also tried the bologna sandwich, and it was also amazing. Loved every bite...you won't be disappointed here, and the people are super friendly 💚

Google
Yummy! Ribs and brisket were both delicious. Didn't care for the potato salad, but the coleslaw was good! All the desserts were great too! They even gave my nephew a little rubber piggy, and he was so happy!

Google
I loved this place. Prepare, it's a bit pricey but worth it. One plate can feed 2, r brown bag for lunch later. Reasonable parking space and family friendly. U should get there before 5pm, if going on Saturday, it gets busy.

Google
It is a good place to sit with family and have a meal. The brisket was dry and did not have the flavor. Polish sausage was good. Smoked chicken skin was thick like parchment paper. The hamburger is excellent. It is odd that soda fountain does not have water option. It appears their pulled pork could be delicious. Barbecue sauces were average.

Google
The food was pretty good and you get quite a bit of it. You pay then wait for a table to open up. It is every man and women for themselves. The biggest complaint was after a hot day at the lake all I wanted was an ice cold glass of water. I was told no ice water only hot bottles of water for $1.50 with a cup of ice. What restaurant does not offer free ice water on a 100 degree day???? Especially with a $50 meal.

Google
We came to visit back in Sept 2022 and I totally forgot to give my review. But let me tell you. If we are back around the area again we will definitely come back. The food was delicious and you get your fair share of it. We ended up having to get to go boxes for all of us. The people were very friendly as well and had no problem going over something in the menu with you. The kids loved the atmosphere inside and out as well.

Yelp
Excellent Oklahoma BBQ and plenty of it. I like to go during off hours to avoid the crowds. Service is fast when they're not busy. I wish they had a salad and more vegetables. I have never had room for desserts.

Yelp
This is THE BEST barbecue south of 1-40 in all of Oklahoma, maybe the whole state.. Best quality ribs, brisket and pulled pork. Ample for the biggest appetite. Family run. No alchohol, closed on Sunday and Wednesday. Near a religious experience for barbecue lovers.

Yelp
Always a safe choice and reasonably priced if you know how to order. 3 meat platter feeds 2 every time. Sometimes 3.

Yelp
The food was amazing! We had ribs, brisket and pulled pork. These were hands down the biggest portions we have ever received at a BBQ restaurant. The service was decent. The restaurant has seating for small parties all the way up to large groups. The only negative in our opinion is there are ceiling fans over every single table and they were all on high. We couldn't get away from the wind of them. We will definitely be back next time we are passing close by!

Yelp
I stopped by for lunch. The staff were more than welcoming. It made me feel very good. Nice place to sit and eat with family and friends. The ribs were a bit on the salty side. The brisket sandwich was loaded, so much that I ate a few slices and took the rest to go. It does not even appear as though I ate the brisket at all lol.

Yelp
The best bbq we've had this year. Ribs were tender & beautifully glazed. Brisket was moist & nicely shredded for easy serving.

Larry P.

Yelp
We had a party for 16 people which we ordered from Smokin' Joe's. They had it ready on time as promised. All the food was a hit with everyone. We have been eating there for years. The portions are huge, and the quality is great. The price is. We love the people working there. If you have tried Smokin Joe's you are missing out.

Yelp
This place is incredible. I'm from California and a friend of mine. Met me there for lunch a couple weeks ago. Luckily we got there right one and open because midway through our meal. The line was out the door and there were no tables left. Obviously. A local favor. Anyway, I ordered the three meat combination which had chop brisket, pulled pork and ribs and two sides. It was pretty awesome and it was like 20 bucks. Incredible price Can't say I'll be back as it's many miles from my house but if I'm ever within 50 miles to the place I'll definitely pull in .

Yelp
Hidden gem! Country style BBQ restaurant in an RV park. Ribs are 5.5/5, really juicy inside. Ribeye is a 5/5, better than a lot of steak houses. The service is okay.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. If you like BBQ, then stop here asap!!! Service is great and plenty of seats for everyone!!

Melodye G.

Yelp
Wonderful barbecue. So tasty you do not need sauce. I had brisket and sausage with beans and fried okra. Short drive from Marietta.

Yelp
I love this place, I was in a nearby town for work and first of all love the name and it had great reviews. We were coming about an hour near closing and luckily they didn't run out of anything. I got the ribs, fries and coleslaw. I'm picky about my coleslaw and this one was amazing and exactly how I liked it. Loved the shoe string fries I had to push them away to stop eating them THE RIBS, tender juicy Smokey and they have a great portion I definitely came home with leftovers. I love their bbq sauces one sweet and one is spicy pro tip: mix them together it's the perfect combination.

Jim M.

Yelp
Meat was really tasty. Had ribs and brisket. Sides were a bit average to me, but ok, given the quality of the 2 meat items.

Cara T.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Smokin' Joe's Rib Ranch and I was impressed! It was busy, but the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I love the decor and feel of the restaurant. We got sliced brisket, corn on the cob, fries & Texas toast! Absolutely delicious.

John P.

Yelp
Meats are really good - finely prepared and obviously well Tended by an experienced grill expert All sides offered should be scrapped and Joe should start over. Have tried aver half of all offerings - not a single side memorable - or even very good. Too bad. JP

Jennifer R.

Yelp
The meat here is really well done, flavorful and tender. The side items I had were also amazing, the baked beans have pork in them. They have a selection of toppings and the atmosphere is rustic, with western art and decorations. The service is quick, you order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. Indoor and screened outdoor dining available.

Yelp
This place was delish! People were nice, inside was clean. The ribs were a little dry to my liking but it was delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
The food...wow!!! Some of the best BBQ in Oklahoma!!! Don't be a fool and pass this up!!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is packed most days! Friendly staff. Walk up and order or call ahead for to-go drive up window! Fried okra was cooked to perfection! BBQ brisket is juicy with just the right thickness! Hot or original bbq sauce was offered. Help yourself pickles and onions. The wait staff yells out your name to deliver your meal. One meat platter with drink and tax is about $20.00 Two person bathroom was a wait but it was clean! Rustic, homey decor. I will be back.

Yelp
Nice hideaway spot. We ride our bikes out from Texas. It was about 30 of us, my first time going. The food portions are ridiculous. You get a lot for the price. I got a 3 meat combo but could barely scratch the surface. Overall the service is ok but definitely needs improvement. A order of Texas toast was left off of one of the meals so the guy who brought it to our table was trying to reach and hand it one of my brothers and it fell on the table and he says oh it's right there. Really what do you think we are going to eat toast that fell on a dirty table? I had the brisket, links, and ribs. All was bland and nothing to brag about. The fried okra was good, the potato salad was ok. I heard the pull chicken was awesome and the smoked wings were great. I will recommend giving them a try and will go back but I know not to over order. The price is fair. The ribs are big spare ribs and I'm a fan of St. Louis style ribs so they were not for me.

Yelp
So good!!! Highly recommend. The staff was all super helpful and polite. The food was all delish and large portions. Shared a meal with 2 boys and still had left overs. They have pickles and onions out to get on your own and love that. There was also someone walking around passing out watermelon which was an amazing treat. After reading reviews we decided we had try the strawberry dessert and I'm so glad we did. Will def be back!

Yelp
Best barbecue ribs ever and coleslaw !! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich was very tender and flavorful we love smokin Joe's every time we go to Oklahoma. We make sure we go there.

Yelp
Now this is BBQ. Was looking for something authentic, and we found it right here! Must try!
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
I thought a bit pricey for what you get! Don't get me wrong, you get plenty but there is definitely better barbecue to be found for less money. Service... a lot like as school cafeteria.
google avatar

Yelp
This place does not need a written review, word of mouth has been heard for years. Great place to stop for good service and great BBQ. The main negative is they are closed on Sunday. We ordered 2 meat dinner Ribs n sliced brisket Sliced brisket n sausage So sliced Brisket is the winner for sure. So tender! As for side, Okra is really crisp n good. Slaw good. Beans, not for me. You get a slice of buttered bread, so good. I have never eaten chicken but lots of people order. Plenty of food to take some home. Good peach cobbler along with other desserts available. No Social distancing or tables marked off. We went in middle of afternoon so had plenty of room. Bathrooms need some attention for sure. Travelers stop here so I know they could put a few improvements in and make sure they are in working order.

Yelp
While on vacation, we tried this place out. The food was fantastic as well as the customer service. Everyone was friendly. The prices were reasonable as well! This restaurant is a must if in the area! You won't regret it if you like some good ol' BBQ!!!!

Jojo R.

Yelp
First stop in OK . The sliced brisket was too moist but needed more smoke and firmness to it. It almost tasted steamed. The pulled pork was excellent. Coleslaw was ok, pinto beans were bland. BBQ sauce was excellent. Service was good and place was clean. Missed having Turkey on the menu.
google avatar

Bambi A.

Yelp
The food was excellent. They were out of many of the menu items but what they did have was worth the wait. It was about 20 mins in line and around 30 for the food. If your not familiar with how they order/serve it can be a bit confusing. There isn't a lot of direction when you enter. Seating is also open so it's a little harder trying to manage a large group so if we come back it will most likely be a smaller amount of people or just opt for the drive through.

Chris G.

Yelp
Returned and ordered the brisket sandwich and ribs really good food but just make sure you dont come starving as every time its over 30min to an hour wait for our food, but that doesnt stop me from coming back.

Patrick N.

Yelp
Usually really good food, this time brisket and pork tenderloin was very dry took it home chopped it up and made sandwich out of it. Maybe it will be better next time

Yelp
Neat place out in the country. Great ribs and brisket , cold slaw was super good. . Real friendly staff. Just across the highway from Turner Falls. Worthwhile drive to visit both. Will definitely go back.

Snow F.

Yelp
Had the smoked prime rib, super taking in 5 minutes before closing time 7 pm during the winter. The prime rib was simply amazing. The cole slaw and fries were great as well. Worth your time!!!

Jack H.

Yelp
First timer visiting from TX, the cashier lady had very nice attitude that made me felt welcomed. The brisket didn't seem to have much fat but was moist and tender, lightly seasoned style, goes good with their BBQ sauce. The rib was very flavorful, served dry without smothering with BBQ sauce all over, just the way I like them. The hot wings were also nicely fried and seasoned on point . Potato salad was good too, not overly sour. Everything was reasonably priced, in my opinion.

Galen B.

Yelp
Best barbecue and great service! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Just what you would expect from a barbecue joint!

Rob H.

Yelp
12 of us ate lunch yesterday. We got all kinds of food and we all shared. We found everything was awesome! We got there 20 minutes before they opened and we were 2nd in line. Good thing. We got our food quick and when we were leaving the main room tables were completely full. We will be back this place is awesome!!

Yelp
Located just off of I-35 between Oklahoma City and Dallas, this place seems to nestled against a traveler's RV park. However, don't let that throw you off - the food is exceptional and I found the ribs absolutely delightful. It can get busy in this place - and it's free seating - so just expect that when you come in. Also, their food-delivery method is a little bit annoying. They carry food orders around the restaurant calling the person's name. I swear I must have heard "John's" order called and carried around for 10 minutes. They could fix this by simply giving people table numbers during the ordering process. Other than that, we found it a wonderful place to stop and eat outside of a major city - a welcome experience.

Tanner W.

Yelp
Food, service, and atmosphere make the perfect bbq experience. I stop and grab a sliced brisket sandwich every time I pass by!

Randy C.

Yelp
Awesome ribs chi hen and pulled pork. Potato salad is one of the best ever. Staff is friendly. Great place for good bbq.

Yelp
For the Restaurant: Great place, great service, great food. Very popular too! For the Campground: GREAT!!! full hookups, nice laundry room, good showers, and the host at site 19 is the nicest, most helpful person we have ever met!!! We love her!

Yelp
I love this place. It's the best place to eat. They have outdoor dining. The people is friendly and fast. I recommend this place to everyone that comes and ask me where the best place is.

Yelp
This was such an awesome barbecue place . I ordered pulled chicken and my husband ordered pork tenderloin sandwiches with coleslaw. The service was quick. Great stop on the road to Oklahoma City!

Yelp
First visit here. Ordered the 2 meat combo with 2 sides and as extra, 2 ribs. Wife had a cheeseburger and fries. Ribs were huge, meaty and tender. Brisket was good, not great. Pork was OK. Beans were good and okra was decent. The cheeseburger was huge! Easily over the half pound they say it is. It was also delicious! One of the best we ever had! Fries were really good too. We would go back for the ribs and absolutely the burger! The portions were huge too. More than 1/2 pound of brisket and pork each.

Yelp
There is nothing here that Would Not Eat !!!!!! I stop by every time I am close to this place ...... You just can't find better BBQ.

Yelp
Everyone was helpful, polite, and friendly. The food was good and atmosphere laid back and welcoming. A great place to visit comfortably and enjoy good friends and food.

Yelp
Great tasting barbecue, fabulous tasting sides, prompt service, kind folks--a winning combination. Stopped in on a recent trip between Dallas/OKC. I heard about this place from a friend and was curious to try it. So glad I stopped in! It's not far from the highway and well worth the stop. Pay attention to their hours as they change their hours seasonally (Oct/Nov they switch to winter hours). Let's get real, sometimes at a BBQ place the meat is fall off the bone, juicy & delicious and the sides are an epic fail. Other times, good sides and dry/under seasoned meats. It's hard to find the award winning combo of great meat AND great sides. They've got BOTH here! The pulled pork & ribs were everything I hoped for--juicy, packed with flavor and served at the right temp. I enjoyed their sweet & smokey house BBQ sauce, they've only got the one. The potato salad & fried okra were awesome. Both sides tasted house made and knocked my socks off. I got the 2 meat dinner and it was enough for 3 meals, though I wish I had gotten an extra helping of that fabulous potato salad--YUM! I had devoured all my sides by the third time around working through the meats. I went around 1:30pm-ish on a Thursday and the full menu was available. Like most great BBQ places, they run out of things throughout the day. There are signs in the restaurant that let you know what's gone for the day, so look around once you get there. They also do specials so be on the lookout for those, too. I think the best way to sum up my experience here is: They know what they do, and they do it well. See ya, again, soon Smokin' Joe's! Yelp
We've heard people rave about this place so thought we'd try it. First no one greets you when you walk in so you have no idea if you seat yourself, wait to be seated, etc. They don't even acknowledge your presence. They don't have menus. They have two menus taped to the front counter and then the menu on the wall, super inconvenient. They have multiple things blacked out and looks like they change their prices frequently. I get it, inflation, thanks Biden. The blonde girl at the counter was super sweet when taking our order. At 5pm they were out of blackeye peas and wings. Prices are insane. We had 4 people; two one meat dinners, one three meat dinner, and two sandwiches; $108.00. There is a 3.65% up charge if you don't use cash, total BS on that. Portion sizes were small for what they charge. Ribs had a lot of dried, crunchy pieces; brisket was eh, pulled pork and chopped brisket had good flavor. Bbq sauce was pretty good, definitely need it for the meat, not much flavor without it. Peach cobbler tasted like canned peach filling, strawberries on a cloud was different, pretty tasty. The okra had the perfect amount of breading and crispness; had it been seasoned it would have been perfect. Overall mediocre. Worth the try but won't be back.

Jerry J.

Yelp
It's a little pricey, but food is OK. One thing I don't like is the tip jar at the cash register why would I tip somebody for ringing me up.

Yelp
We have loved Smokin' Joe's for a while. The quality of food and the quick service during this pandemic made us love Joe's even more. We decided to get take-out. There is a drive-thru, which I recommend if you are virus-conscious. When we went in to order, we were two of very few with masks. All that being said, you also need to know that they have a lunch sandwich special that includes chunks of onion and dill pickle on the side. We added okra to ours, and were pleased to see an enormous serving in our box! Love our Smokin' Joe's!
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by the folks at Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies, which is another place to review. Being a Bbq snob, I always judge a Bbq restaurant by their ribs. Let me tell you these are awesome, and they were really big, almost like a beef rib. Normally when ribs are that big they are really fatty and not enjoyable at all. Not these ribs, all the fat had cooked out, there was nice smoke on them and they had a nice bark on the outside. My dad got the same thing and we had plenty of leftovers. The sides were all very good, I had fried okra and fries, while dad had beans and potato salad. The beans were savory, not like sweet baked beans and very good. Sauce was great, Texas toast was great. Service was outstanding. I rarely give rave reviews for Bbq. The ribs at this place have my highest level of respect!

Yelp
Oh my goodness I would highly and I mean HIGHLY recommend coming here for food. The food is amazing! I like the pork and potato salad but everything that I've tried has been amazing. The only thing I would say is get there when they open because the line will be out the door before you know it. It is worth the wait though I will say.
