Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins

We stayed at the Golden View Lodge - what a magnificent home away from home - and such a marvelous setting. The lodge provided every amenity from detergent for dish washer and washer, to spices in the cupboards along with every utensil and plenty of dishware. The bed was very comfortable - and had a outstanding wood design to go with it. The view from the deck was spectacular. It provided for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. We even spent the better part of our stay in the lodge because it was raining - but oh, so easy to get some personal duties taken care of. It is located at the end of the street so no body even drives by. The hosts went way out of their way to help us find the location well after dark and were very understanding of our challenges to locate the lodge at night. Indeed everything of the very best for us as guests.

My family and I stayed with two other families stayed at the Golden Oaks cabin and had a blast. There was plenty of room for us and our three little ones to be comfortable. The cabin felts secluded without being too far off the beaten path. We especially appreciated how close it was to lots of great hiking. (We loved Abram's Falls.)

We stayed in this cabin for our honeymoon and it was a great experience! Everything was clean when we got there and it looked just like the pictures. Everything was in running order and there were no surprises. The cabin is somewhat secluded which is nice, and close to many local restaurants and attractions and is even a short drive to Pigeon Forge. We also liked that it was very close to one of the few entrances into the Smoky Mountain National Park. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is considering!

We stayed here and everything was clean, I felt at home. The view was beautiful. They had everything we needed already there. They did a great job communicating before we got there and even suggested us bringing a gate for our 11 month old. Will use them again. Five stars for sure!

I can't say enough good things about this agency, their owners or their property. I surprised my wife for her birthday with this stay and her family. She had no idea they were all going to be there. We stayed at Golden View Lodge. What a cabin! There were 10 adults and 7 kids; there was still plenty of space. I highly highly recommend you stay here. What a blessing this was.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Golden Oaks. We’ve been coming to the area for vacation for the last 10 years and this was by far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. I really don’t need to look anywhere else. This place really checks ALL the boxes for me. The cabin was clean, nicely furnished, had comfortable beds, good water pressure and was well maintained. We have dogs and finding a fenced yard is challenging enough but finding an enclosed, level yard is near impossible. Our non athletic dogs thank you! My girl had to go out early one morning and as I stood outside on the deck waiting for her, I heard twigs snapping in the woods. I shined my flashlight and there was a bear lumbering along down on the other side of the creek. Pretty cool! Never had anything like that before. I loved how you felt far away from everything yet weren’t really far at all. We enjoy going to Cade’s Cove so it’s nice to be so close to the park entrance at metcalf bottoms picnic area. We discovered Mountain Brothers general store and I think going there to pick out coffee beans to grind and brew will be a new tradition. We bought 3 lbs of 3 different flavors. Thanks again. We really enjoyed ourselves. Can’t wait to come back!

Golden View Lodge is awesome! We spent three nights there when our daughter was married at The Lily Barn. The cabin is beautiful! 13 family members stayed -- there was plenty of room for everyone. We couldn't have had better accommodations -- perfect for the occasion!

My family and I stayed in simply golden. It was imaculant. The cleaner( I believe her name was Della) done an outstanding job cleaning. I hope the company and owners appreciate her because she's a great asset. We felt very much at home when we got inside. The special little touches were appreciated and noticed. This cleaning lady deserves a raise to show your appreciation. We will definitely be back and recommend this company. :)
