SMUT ATHENS

I give it 4 stars because I was looking for GOOD techno music and found it. Great sound system and absolutely LOVED the attitude : be there for the music. It is worth every pennies ! Also I wanna point out the beautiful welcoming outside as we were waiting in line. I just wanna say that as a female looking person, I felt welcomed and safe in that place. I remember thinking ''Nice!! Nobody is gonna bother me!'' and it is actually what happened. I was in my own little bubble to enjoy the music - only that say, my boyfriend felt the exact opposite way. So be aware of that

Unfortunately, my experience at Smut Athens was extremely disappointing. I had to wait over an hour and a half in line just to get in, despite paying a 25€ entrance fee, which already set a very negative tone for the night. Once inside, the venue was dirty, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and poorly maintained, and the music was terrible, lacking any flow or energy. Nothing about the space felt organized or professionally managed. Overall, it was absolutely not worth the time or the money. I wouldn’t recommend it, and I definitely wouldn’t return.

wonderful crowd, staff & especially the music! you can also leave your jacket for free, which is such a nice touch. i felt safer here than at any other rave or club i’ve ever been to. the privacy is impressive, everyone minds their own business, and people who actually want to flirt do it respectfully. not even the well-known clubs downtown have these kinds of vibes. i honestly can’t describe how much fun i had. the only thing i’d mention is the neighborhood. i wouldn’t recommend walking around if it’s not crowded, so it’s definitely best to take a taxi or have your own ride

me go club. me hear techno. me happy first time to SMUT i went with my girlfriend. the club was very inclusive, the staff was sweet. i was very skeptical due to the bad reviews, but nobody touched me as some people said. regardless of the fact that it felt like a sauna, i had a great time. will definetely go again.

Awesome clubbing experience in Athens. Everything was handled with love, respect and professionalism. Short briefing about the venues ethics, dresscode, safety, etc. A true safe space for people who like to express themselves freely. Love the no camera policy. The air conditioning was powerful, great people, and the DJs ate.

Been to Smut 4 times and it's an impressive techno club for sure. I've never had a problem getting in and i like the fact that the venue is big (for athens). Also i feel people are there to have a good time. I definitely don't see any snobbish behaviour there like i do at other clubs which is a relief.

It’s a great queer techno club. Not waited long on the queue and the creature at the door was super polite and to the point (loved your eyebrows and vibe). I think all negative critiques are coming from people that got rejected with a hurt ego. That’s a part of any clubbers story. Have a plan b for your night. In fact making all these comments proves that the door policy is actually working.

Nice interior, liked how it is designed with the cage and all. However for a guy this is not a safe space, touched so many times without consent i lost count. If u are up just for a dance forget it.
