I moved to Grand Rapids for the summer and I have to say, Taylor is the most kind, and I say best gym staff I ever ran into. Taylor went out of his way to build a personal connection with every single person that walked into Snap Fitness. This made going to the gym even more enjoyable due to the environment he created. Allowing all people in the gym to be positive and kind to eachother. I will definitely miss going to the gym. Thank you Taylor for being a G!

Taylor is extremely professional and approachable. Since he has taken the helm the place has really turned around. Excellent customer service and very responsive. Can’t say enough about what he has done for this gym.

Staff is rarely there after 2:00 PM, there are no dedicated benchpresses, just squat cages you can roll a bench under, you are required to bring two pairs of shoes, and the gym is relatively small -so you’ll likely be waiting for a machine. However, it is clean.

Been trying to cancel my membership for 2 months now.. just checked my bank account and another 50 dollars was withdrawn from my account by snap. This was after having a conversation with 2 people about cancelling. One said that they would cancel it right away. Isn't this illegal?

Since Taylor became the manager, this Snap is the cleanest that it’s ever been. Taylor is also very approachable and willing to help anyone. Best manager this location has ever had. Also, between Taylor managing and having a new owner, everything is getting repaired that needs to be.

Tried to cancel my membership years ago. Still won’t allow me to to cancel unless I come in in person. I live in New York now.

The gym was small, had very run-down vibes (ie. Stained equipment, broken sinks, empty cleaning cloth bins, etc), and was SUPER expensive for what was offered ($40/month). Showers were cramped and gross and there are no hooks in the restrooms to hang anything on. Insane fees for holding the door for anyone ($200), wearing street shoes ($25), etc., so glad I never had to pay them. PLUS if you want to cancel your membership in the middle of the month, they still require you to pay for the next month even if you are done going there (ie. Canceling February 5th means you still pay for March on March 1st). Would not recommend this gym to anyone for any reason.

First time I've ever joined a gym in my adult life. It's small but I typically go before or after peak hours so I don't run into any issues. New management has stepped up and takes better care of the machines and the overall cleanliness of the gym has improved ten fold. Good community overall. Everyone just does their own thing. The only thing I want is a water fountain that dispenses cold water lol

Yelp
I found this gym through YELP, I needed to continue my exercise program while showing my art during ARTPRIZE. I was in town for 26 days and I needed a gym to keep my head on straight! Heritage Hill Snap Fitness is the cleanest, most well taken gym I have seen in many years. It is very small with all the equipment one needs to stay in great shape. The staff were very supportive of my needs and were there to assist me in any issues. The equipment is very well maintained and all the members take pride in keeping "Their" gym clean.

Yelp
This Snap Fitness location is a bit smaller than what I'm used to, but so far that hasn't been an issue. Even during times that I would think are peak hours, it's easy enough to find the equipment that you want to work out on. All of the equipment appears to be new and well taken care of. Aside from the typical cardio and weight training setups, the gym also features a small exercise room and two new shower rooms (in addition to normal bathrooms). There aren't any lockers - just cubby holes up by the front door. I haven't been a member for long, but I expect to really enjoy being at this gym for a while. It sure beats the bigger, busier, more expensive gyms in town.

Yelp
This is a great gym for my specific needs. A very friendly and responsible staff really benefits my perception of a pleasant gym experience.

Yelp
Uncooperative Management. I worked out here for about 1 year. I went in to cancel my membership in May-ish of 2015 and they continued to charge me 2 months after cancellation. I had to find it on my bank statement and stop by the gym again to fix the issue. They claimed that an old, improperly trained employee filed my paperwork incorrectly. They were unwilling to refund me my $100 I was charged for those 2 consecutive months. We had to make multiple trips and phone calls just to argue with the manager. I will never go back due to there low customer service standards.

Yelp
I've had a membership to Snap for a bit over a year now. This is by far the best gym I've ever had a membership to. It almost feels as though it was designed for introverts. It's small, but everyone very much keeps to themselves, and most people have been around for a while and are very respectful of sharing equipment and wiping things down after use. The front desk staff is super friendly when they are around and always remember you, greet you warmly and say goodbye pretty much every time. The only downside would be if you're someone who comes during "prime times" aka right after work or around 5-7pm, it can get crowded and you might have to wait in line for the squat rack. The cardio equipment is pretty much always free though.

Yelp
The gym itself isn't very large, but I think that helps to make it less intimidating. The machines are very easy to use. There is a separate room with equipment for yoga, pilates, cycling, and a projector with many videos to choose from. The gym is open 24 hours. I work out primarily at night and always feel safe and secure while working out. Please join up and let me refer you! :)

Yelp
Clean. Good equipment....just not much of it. Very small and cramped compared to the east beltline snap fitness. I thought I would give this one a try because it's much closer..but I won't come back to this location. Otherwise I'm happy with snap. Been a member for 4+ years.
