Snoopy Museum Tokyo

A must for Snoopy fans, still very enjoyable even if you’re not familiar with the characters! The exhibits are well done and engaging, and you don’t need to understand Japanese to enjoy it. Suitable for the whole family and also a great spot for dates. The museum is easy to get to, and there’s plenty of cute Snoopy merchandise at the shop. There’s also an attached café serving adorable themed food and drinks, which is a fun bonus. Highly recommended!

I love snoopy, have since I was a kid, so my wife thoughtfully brought me to the snoopy museum and I felt like a kid in a candy store. I tried not to go too crazy in the gift shop which was difficult but the museum is phenomenal. Even if you've only got a slight curiosity for snoopy, its worth a visit. Its clean, the people are very friendly, the exhibits are so cool and their collection is wonderful. There is no re-entry and going thru the museum is a one way trip so be mindful and respectful of that. You are allowed to record and take pictures in most places but there are a couple rooms its prohibited in so also please be respectful of that, otherwise have a wonderful time, I did!

I visited in December 2025, and the winter theme was incredibly cozy! It was pleasantly busy ; not too crowded, but not too quiet either. If you love reading cute and funny comics, you'll need to spend more than an hour here because everything is so cozy, hilarious, and completely full of Snoopy. It's also very photogenic! A quick note: You are not allowed to re-enter the museum once you walk out, even if you just purchased your ticket. Visitor Tips: Parking and Entry • Parking: If you come by car, you can park at the nearby Minami-machida Grandberry Park outlet mall. The outlet mall is connected to the museum area. The standard rate is around 250 yen per 30 minutes. You will pay for your parking by the hour when you exit.

If you're someone bothering to read reviews for the Snoopy Museum, it will almost certainly be worth your time. The museum is a decent size with lots of Snoopy and Peanuts memorabilia as well as some history. For 500 yen you can create a button pin with a randomly picked snoopy cartoon. The gift shop is nice with a large selection. The museum itself is located within a nice mall area with lots of good shopping and food options.

One of the best place that I visited during my trip to Japan last week. I recommend everyone to go to Snoopy Museum (if you like it) while having holiday in Japan. I really love how clean and cute this museum. This is totally foreigner friendly because you can read so much Snoopy's comic strip on this museum. I came during early winter—close enough to the end of autumn so view from outdoor Snoopy Museum also great. We got different freebies for each day. I ordered my ticket from Eplus EN. I love how Snoopy Museum let foreigner booking their own ticket from Eplus. I came with public transportation and it's so easy to go here. The information staff also helpful when I was asking for the direction. Everyone are so nice, I'm glad spending my holiday here in Japan! I will comeback if they're gonna have another set of museum.

If you’re a Snoopy fan, you’ll definitely enjoy this place. There’s a very rich introduction to Snoopy and the Peanuts characters, and you can also find many exclusive items to purchase. There’s an outlet mall next door where you can do some shopping as well. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the city center. After your visit, you can plan to head to Shibuya for shopping or dinner.

A super cute museum full of snoopy! It's not very big but it has lots inside. It has lots of interactive components too. Lots of cute things in the gift store. If you like Snoopy, it's worth the hike out of central Tokyo to visit this museum!

Snoopy Museum was super cute! The collections and the comics were super nostalgic! The mall, the park and the cafe around the museum were all so nice and vibrant and relaxing. Even though its an hour away from central tokyo, I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here again.

I found out about this place prior to leaving home, but failed to get tickets in advance. It was a bit out of our way so we never really planned a day to go, but on our last day there we decided to take a detour and head there. Very unfortunate we traveled with our luggage and it poured so hard! What's good about Japan is that they had storage at the station and at the museum they can store luggage too. You get a chip to redeem your items before leaving. We didn't buy tickets in advance, I searched online and the tickets were sold out. There is an option to do walk in with the possibility of getting turned away. I guess because it rained so hard, we were able to get tickets. Your entire party must be there for you to purchase tickets. I left my husband and baby at the station while we went to go check and the cashier wouldn't let me purchase tickets before going back for them. Because of the rain, the outdoor seating area was closed and the cafe closed early too. A big bummer to miss. Overall interesting and unique experience. I learned a lot about the comic :)

Several floors for Snoopy. My favorite areas are the outside area with all the Snoopys watching golfer Snoopy, the room with the giant Snoopy, and the displays with original artwork. You get a nice filmstrip ticket upon admission. If you want to shop at the store, you need to show this ticket to them and they will stamp it before you can buy anything.

This is the only Charles Schulz museum outside of Sonoma, California. This is a must go to if you are a peanuts, fan or collect any of the Charles Schulz, comic book strip art. The museum isn't small, but isn't large it encompasses two floors, and is well laid out and flows nicely and tells the entire story of Charles Schulz, and how he came up with each character of the Peanuts comic strip. The museum is interactive and has lots of original comic strip art. Make sure you watch the introductory video in the first room as it is very cute and displayed on all four walls. I love the many locations to take selfie's throughout the museum. Even though this is about an hour outside of Tokyo, it's well worth going to as it is located in a large outlet shopping center so there is other things to do besides the museum. It is super easy and convenient to get to you, just off the train line.

A Peanuts lover's haven. The Snoopy Museum Tokyo is an expanded version of its predecessor. Fans will love this intimate look into the history of Charles Schulz's life, the Peanuts characters, and the famous comic strips. Snoopy fans can see his various poses at the Snoopy Room. Kids can enjoy workshops and create their own Snoopy plush. And, keeping true to Japan, the museum has an extensive selection of souvenirs and sweets.
