Bermuda Snorkeling Guide: 9 Best Dive Sites in Bermuda | Condé Nast Traveler

"Snorkel Bermuda, a snorkel shop in the Royal Naval Dockyard whose "bread and butter is shipwreck snorkeling" says owner Sonny Sullivan. Snorkel Bermuda’s trips depart daily in the summer at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 3 p.m., and last about two hours; tours start from $60 per person."

Had a great time here. Short walk from the ship. Not crowded. We got there around 11and stayed till 4 then came back for the bonfire at 7. Live music. Great snorkeling. Stuff to do for kids. Cost 100 for two people with chairs and an umbrella but we were five feet from the water and had the place pretty much to ourselves when we first got there. I feel we got our moneys worth.

So this is a hard review. It is in a good location about 300 m from the cruise ship dock went in thinking it was going to be $15 apiece that’s fair but then anything you want after that like allowance chair and stuff like that. The lounge chair is $25 each. And more if you want an umbrella. It was irritating that the guy coming around challenged us on the deck chair. We got one and we’re eating lunch. And we told him that we had paid for it and he said how do I know that? Fortunately, we kept the receipt. They seem to have Wristbands for most of the stuff but either the lady forgot to put one on or there isn’t one. It’s our first time to the beach at this place. My daughter was picking up glass and no it is not from the glass beach 400 m down the way. I don’t think the glass beach has twist off tops. We had the wahoo food. Nuggets and fish. They weren’t bad fast food type of thing, but there was lots of fish inside the nugget so it wasn’t all bread. Overall would maybe go again. Only because of the location. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get to it. It is cool having the fort nearby. I got a picture of the cannon in the background on the fortress wall.

15 per person to get in...lounge chairs are 20. The water is breathtaking! Snorkeling is great with tons of fish to see.

Beautiful park, close to dockyard. Very nice experience when you are looking to get away from the cruise ship but still want to stay close.

Man-made beach. Good enough beach if you don't want to take a longer trip away from the cruiseship. I spent around two hours with a cost of $15 pp for entry. Was fun, but way less than any of the other nature-made beaches in Bermuda. Will try other beaches ( Horseshoe bay) next time for sure.

We had a wonderful day at Snorkel beach park during our 2 day stop in Bermuda on a RC cruise. They have such a great beach set up and the crowds are minimal with plenty of space to snorkel, build sand castles, and have a great beach day. The staff were so wonderful. They were kind and helpful all day! On Mondays and Thursdays they have a free beach bonfire with live music, smores and a dessert bar. It was so fun to snorkel in the evening and dance the night away with tourists and locals alike! Can't thank them enough for a great day!

It's our own fault for not noticing they close at 5 pm, so we only had (given ourselves) an hour, but that was a good amount of time to see tons of fish! The water was amazing, so much to explore and so many scenic areas.

After reading the reviews I thought my bf and I could as well try this beach out. Other people mentioned the pricey entrance but I wasn’t expecting it to be THAT pricey! Sorry, you can’t charge 100$ for two beds and an umbrella even if there’s a couple of inflatables for children on the beach. And if so, make sure the beds are not crusty and falling apart, make sure each beds couple is not on top of each other like we’re not customers but sardines. The beach is nice but nothing special compared to the rest of the island. There’s a bar and amenities but expect them to be as overpriced as the entrance fee. The bar menu is just burger and fries, chicken wings and fries, chicken tenders and fries, hot dog and fries so don’t expect it to offer a good variety or any healthy options. Also don’t expect to snorkel anywhere around here cause there’s nothing to see underwater. Gave two stars because there’s free Wi-Fi. Oh and in case you read about the all inclusive with drinks and snorkel gear, that’ll be 159$.
