I found Bingsu usually underwhelming and mid. Snowday, unfortunately, is no exception. The tiramisu bingsu did not have a lot of flavour in it, but the bitterness of the espresso shot as a complimentary “sauce.” (honestly, I was not sure what it was supposed to achieve since the Bingsu - jus crashed ice - was not creamy like actual ice cream, so it was far from the experience of an affogato). I feel I just have a higher bar for ice dessert because I’ve had chhoah-peng since I was little in Taiwan, and I guess I am quite difficult to impress when it comes to ice desserts. The presentation was great, but a bit overpriced. The service was standard, and the interior was cozy. Good for hangout.

Cute location, friendly service. The lattee options were interesting and very good. The shaved ice was not as flavourful as some other places but a reasonable portion size. Nice to go if you're in the area already but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Cozy and lovely dessert place, the bingsu blew my mind! I can't believe it was frozen dessert, I thought it was coconut flakes! The best part was it stayed frozen for a long time. They have great bingsu, coffee, cakes, and macarons! I give them 9/10?

The Bingsu (Korean Shaved Ice Dessert) at Snowday Bingsu Cafe (Thornhill location) was good. The Black Sesame Bingsu was good. The black sesame ice cream and red bean paste were not too sweet and went well the shaved ice and Injeolmi rice cake. The Mugwort Hoppang was a good and delicious Korean pastry with red bean filling.

On the same day I was googling “the best bingsu in town” Snowday Bingsu came on the top search, my friend asked me to go to this cafe for desert after a meal. It was quite close to the dinner place in Thornhill. It was so busy from the outside to in store. People lined up to order. I was telling my friend if it was that good. A few kids heard our convo & said, “it’s amazing!” 😍❤️💯 It was quite costly but look at the portion. 2 people can have one bowl which would be enough. And yes of course, it was bombed!!!!

We came here on a Saturday night and it was pacccckeeeed. The place is a lot smaller than it seems in the photos. It can seat probably 30 people max. It’s pretty tight. It was super busy when we came so we had to wait about 20mins. Because the place is so small there’s no designated waiting area. We were just in the middle standing around. There’s no host either or any queue structure so you have to wait there to seat yourself. Now the stars of the show, the bingsus. I tried the black sesame and the mango ones. The mango one tasted like it had canned peaches in it which was slightly disappointing. It’s also a bit overpriced for what it is and the amount of toppings included. Was it worth the wait? Not really. Would I go back? Yes if I wouldn’t have to wait in line but not the place to go out of my way for.

Coffee bingsu dessert is tasty, would like to try different flavour (there are many to choose from). Very refreshing and different type of usual desserts. They have many drink options and cakes. Great service. Clean and cozy space, great for chatting with friends or date.

My favourite bingsu place. Milky shaved ice and tons of condensed milk, can’t go wrong with that. They have a bunch of great flavours and are really generous with the portions. The owner is super friendly and the rest of the workers are nice as well. Highly recommend the coffee flavour though the tiramisu and cheese are great as well. Will definitely come again!
