I had an amazing stay at Snow Lion Homestay in Darjeeling! The hospitality here is truly exceptional — the hosts are warm, welcoming, and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with a beautiful blend of comfort and traditional charm. The location is perfect, close to the main town yet peaceful enough to enjoy the serene Darjeeling vibes. The food was freshly prepared, delicious, and felt like a home-cooked meal. They also helped guide us with local sightseeing tips, making the trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience genuine Darjeeling hospitality!

The rooms are quite small compared to places I’ve stayed at before. There is no view from the rooms—you have to go to the top floor to enjoy the view. I previously stayed at Everest Villa and paid almost the same price, but the experience there was much better. This place is okay to stay at, but it is not worth the price they charge.

We booked the attic view room which is just perfect for 4 people. The view from the balcony is stunning! One doesn't need to go to tiger hill. :D The owner is really a humble man, the staffs are extremely courteous and helpful. I left my specs and scarf at the balcony by mistake and checked out but they kept it safely and handed it to my friend who was in Darjeeling the next day. |Extremely neat and clean rooms with all amenities you can expect from a good homestay. Location of the homestay is very good, not far from mall. One can easily walk up to the mall whenever required. For the attic room one has to climb up to the 5th floor so not recommended for elderly people but best room for couples and friends. Highly recommended. I'll always keep this homestay as my first preference whenever I'm in Darjeeling.

Location: Near to mall road and 5 min straight road from the hotel ramada ( where siliguri share car will drop you) . 9/10 By walking you can access all the Darjeeling famous points and restuarants. Ambiance: 8/10 Terrace: 9/10 : 24 hours access: full view of darjeeling city and if sky is clear can be seen KJ with beautiful view. Food : not tried, only breakfast available . But rate is bit high. Drinking Water: Complimentary Normal drinking water can be availed 8am to 6 pm. Mineral Water Bottle (1ltr.) after and before that 30 rs. Room Size : 9/10 Bathroom: 8/10 Clean: 9/10 Overall: 8/10

Great location and Great view....Hotel Staffs are also very helpful and very courteous and well behaved. (Spcl Mention : Mr. Projjal, He helped us everyway he can) We booked the spacious attic room at roof and had the greatest view of the Kanchenjunga on our 2nd day. Our son enjoyed a lot at rooftop also. Their room service is pretty great and prompt at all hours. Cleanliness is also good. We went biking from NJP and they has a dedicated parking place too! So that's a bonus. All over , a very good experience.👍👍👍

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Darjeeling for an entire month during the summer and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The hotel's location is another strong point—situated conveniently close to the center of Darjeeling, making access to local attractions and services effortless. The warmest experience I ever had, it felt a home out of home. Everybody is so kind, caring and all the positive adjectives you can think of. I am so happy that I chose Snowlion Homestay. The view of Kanchenjunga from terrace is just wow. I am staying here again when I visit Darjeeling.

I booked at Snowlion for a family weekend visit to Darjeeling and we had enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Breakfast was served at their family dining room on the floor above our rooms. Food was tasty & wholesome and served with a smile by the friendly staff. Location is very near to Chowrasta and accessible by vehicle. Rooms are spic and tastefully done up with attached bathroom. Definitely value for money..Good wifi connection too. They have 2 family pets and both are so friendly and lovable.
