Snow Peak Brooklyn

I dropped by the store just before closing, but the staff were still super nice. One of the girls helped me and was really sweet — she even asked about my size to make sure I found the right fit. I really appreciated her help. Such a great shopping experience!

This place is awesome. Japanese craftsmanship never fails to exceed expectations, and it's evident with this brand and the goods they make. Feel lucky to have a location right nearby in Brooklyn. Arielle and the rest of the staff are awesome to work with. Always happy to help with a smile on her face regardless of how overstimulated and scatterbrained I get by all the products I want to try on/buy. Can't wait to go back again in a few weeks. Thanks again guys!

I bought a pair of gloves here last year around Christmas. As I was walking out of the store, my girlfriend texted me that she bought me a pair of gloves and that I should return these. I went to return them and the cashier and manager were not only unhelpful, but extremely rude. Seems like they were disappointed by how their life turned out, and decided to take it out on me. Anyway, as a long time fan of Snowpeak, I have never bought anything again, nor will I.

I like Snow Peak products and have shopped in Japan and online for a while. Stopped by the Brooklyn location today to exchange a product I bought online and was pretty shocked by the terrible service from one of the evening workers here. He violently opened all of the packaging for the new product that I was exchanging (unclear why) even though I asked him not to because it was a gift— he rudely said he would tape it back and then taped it with packing tape; the packaging was also bent from him opening it so it now makes an unsightly gift. Also when I asked him if he knew whether this particular store was doing the Fukubukuro set, he said “What exactly are you asking? Do we have it? Do we sell it?” in a tone completely inappropriate for the situation. Baffling experience. May have gotten unlucky because the other worker seemed friendly enough to the people he was helping.

I needed a refresh to some thing and was excited to buy a few bags from Snow Peak. The bag quality seems fine enough but the service was terrible. I walked away from the interaction feeling stupid and like I was an inconvenience. I accidentally grabbed a display cooler as that was one of the items I needed and the clerk was relatively rude about it. I ended up purchasing a dry bag and a cooler, unfortunately I had un wrapped the dry bag to use to carry my things but after thinking about the interaction I didn’t want to have spent money on an interaction like that. Upon returning the bag the clerk didn’t inquire about why I wanted to place the return. The return process was quick and easy but I will not be suggesting nor purchasing from here moving forward.

Snow Peak would not warranty a defective product. Got into Snow Peak just last year and it quickly went downhill from there. Stitching on a 2-3 month old Flexible Insulated Cardigan started to pull out / loosen. The Warranty/Repairs department would not honor the issue - told me to bring it to my local seamstress in exchange for a gift card equivalent to the cost of the repair (after they received a receipt from the seamstress) I tried to leave a negative review online for the item to warn other buyers, but the review was never made public. It seems like they only publish positive reviews on their products. Anyway, this whole experience changed my perception of the brand.

Cool, good-quality products (at a high price point) conceived for camping and outdoors excursions. One star because the people that work there are rude, unkind, unhelpful - they make the experience of shopping there very unpleasant, and I'm totally turned off from giving the store my money because the staff has repeatedly treated me in a poor and outwardly aggressive manner. I live in the neighborhood and have been many times, alone and with friends, unfortunately it's not a one-off, bad day type of thing which I can totally understand and easily forgive. No I'm talking every. single. time. There is 1 person that is nice and has a good vibe, everyone else I've encountered who works there is straight up rude and unpleasant, and they really don't seem to have any technical knowledge about the products they sell - not able to answer any questions I've had. Kindness, professionalism, and knowledge about the products they're selling at high prices REALLY go a long way.

This is an absolutely beautiful shop, with truly beautiful products. Snowpeak is some of the top tier in camping/outdoors gear within a specific niche, and the store is a showcase of the brand. The shop is well laid out, with a railroad style setup so its easy and clear to browse and find what you want to check out. But there is also a cozy loft and front sitting area that shows off the vibes that Snowpeak is all about. When I visited, they were hosting artisans and makers for a mini market, which added to the variety and showcased their attention to craftsmanship. The shop employees were helpful and efficient. Overall, this is a beautiful spot to browse, even if you arent in the market for anything there. Highly recommend if you are into the outdoors or technical gear and are in Williamsburg.

Beautiful camping gear shop with all the details and accessories you might ever need and then some! From bags, to clothing, to tents all the way down to the utensils! I first noticed their aesthetic cooking set up, which feature sleek minimal and modern designs that just make me want to go and eat some noodles on a mountain peak right now! This place if definitely not cheap however the price tag seems synonymous with the quality of the products.The second floor features a map of New York with a ton of top hiking and camping locations. Ultra friendly staff is available to answer all your questions. So if you have deep pockets and a deep passion for camping this is the spot for you!

This store is amazing. The people there were so kind and helpful! It was super hot out and they had complimentary drinks for customers. My bf looks super cute in their sleepwear. Wish I could give this place a 6 out of 5 rating. Please visit here if you want to listen to good music and find innovative camping gear.

I absolutely love Snow Peak! The products are always high quality and the staff is superb. I came here for a meditation event they hosted this weekend in collab with Walden and Betime. Such a relaxing yet fun time. Good vibes all around!

A very nicely curated store, everything is laid out well and cleanly. Lots of goos for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. They carry a lot of tools, cookery, and also apparel. There's a section of bags and backpacks as well. They have signature shapes and tools available like their titanium cookware and spoons which is what I gravitated towards. Located in the Soho area, it fits pretty well in this environment. Nice staff and pleasant experience.

hi , i love snow peak and tell literally everyone i know about them. the store was amazing and so cool. and the staff were some of the nicest people ever. and it made my entire experience 100x better. i bought a pair of pants and a shirt and they are perfect. love the staff and the store ! !!!!!!! thank u
