SnowBunnys BackPackers Hostel

Decent location, less than a 10min walk to the the ski rental shops and gondela. I was in a private room, the bed and floorboards were very creaky but it was nice and warm and the TV had Netflix and Prime. The bathroom was clean and the showers had plenty of hot water. Towels were provided. Dave who ran the hostel was friendly and checked in throughout the trip to make sure our group was doing ok. He was accommodating of our late arrival. However, he did seem to get a kick out of making misogynistic jokes and other comments which I found odd and uncomfortable. Overall I wouldn't stay here again but for the price it's an ok option.

Lots of love for this place! Friendly staff, ducks and chickens, plenty of amenities (food, soap, entertainment) and walking (in ski boots) distance from the ski lift. Thanks for the great experience, Dave!!

hey, we (2 girlfriends/both 15 years) were in Kitzbühel for a long weekend. We chose Dave's hostel because it appealed to us the most price-wise and we liked the central location + the homey house. It was a very good decision. For us, the accommodation was more than just a place to stay. You were welcomed from day one as if you were in an extended family. The people were super sweet, the rooms very clean, the kitchen was well equipped with food and in the evening you always found someone to cook together. We met new people at the hostel and we miss all the time already. Dave if you are reading this, we liked your way from day one and we will definitely be back. I also think that it is not made for everyone, especially for the people who care a lot about neatness, their own bathroom. And who are not very good with the family environment and fun atmosphere. We definitely miss it and look forward to the next visit. A big kiss and love greetings:)

Small breakfast to get you started included. The hostel itself is reasonably clean for the things that matter, toilet, bathroom, bedrooms, not so much the common room but considering the price who cares. Lockers to store your stuff. Great location though. Would recommend if you’re just going for the snow and can look past not being in a fancy hotel. Dave the owner has sick chat and is a really nice guy. You might find him weird if you grew up home schooled or are a femboy.

I was lucky enough to spend a few days at David's Hostel. It is an endearing place, where the guests, thanks to David's spirit and sympathy, become a great family. Everyone shares laughter and good vibes around the table. The hostel has comfortable rooms and beds, a good kitchen and a common room to share. The bathrooms are very good too. The location is very good, near the train, the center and the ski station. I had a problem, and David and the guests were wonderful to me, it was a complicated experience, but on the other hand, you realize how many wonderful and generous people you can meet in life. I am very grateful to them.🌸😊 It's been a long time since I was in a hostel like the ones before, with a hostel spirit, that place where besides being able to sleep, you can find friends and good fun times. This is the best value stay you can have in Kitzbuehel whether you are skiing for a week or exploring the town. They are literally right inside the town and a few steps from any restaurant or place you need to go. It's only 5 minutes to the world famous Hahnenkamm downhill race lift. The breakfast is awesome with a huge selection of everything for a hostel with eggs fresh Dave's, the owner's, hens right on the property. Rabbits and ducks are so cute and running around the open space in the yard that puts a smile on every passing-by tourist's face. Dave is a very hilarious and very knowledgeable person, who is also very kind and helpful; he attended caringly our special needs during our stay. We cannot thank him more, Look at the pictures for yourself. If a traditional hotel type of the stay is not what you require, you will be pleasantly surprised by such a gem of host. Strongly recommended!!!!

I stayed in December 2018 for snowboard vacation and had a lot of fun. Lord Dave brings a special atmosphere. Combination of rude jokes and kind attitude is awesome. If you’re easy adult person this is the right place to stay.|Facilities are good for the hostel. Breakfast is available and beer not expensive.

I was a solo traveller to Kitzbühel and Snowbunnies was the perfect place to stay. The staff and owner, Dave, were friendly and helpful - they even helped to glue my ski boot. It has a laid back vibe and is a nice place to unwind after a day of skiing where there are other guests to mingle with. The location is great as it is very central and is approximately a 5 minute walk to the ski lift. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a self service style continental breakfast in the morning and plenty of pots and pans for cooking. There was always hot water for a shower and a room to store ski/ snowboarding equipment.
