Staff was friendly and welcoming, which always sets the tone right. The place is clean, well-kept, and doesn’t feel like one of those sticky, worn-out dessert shops. Major props for the portion sizes too, definitely generous, you’re not walking away disappointed. As for the dessert itself... it was alright. Not bad at all, just not mind blowing. The kind of treat that hits the spot if you’re in the mood, but not something I’d crave on the regular. Still, worth trying at least once if you're nearby. It's got a chill vibe and solid value for what you get.

We visited Snowtime Chandler for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! Tyler, who helped us, provided the best customer service we’ve ever had. We had so many questions, and he patiently answered every single one with a smile. He was super helpful and made us feel welcome. The desserts were delicious, and the customer service was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

The deserts are so good. Shaved ice with Macha and mochi was so good. The fish cone are great as well. Try the fish stuffed with cheese or Nutella.

Google
I feel like I got ripped off. Two tea bags and ice for $6. Wild. At least put some bits of fruits in it or something to make it feel more special. Didn't really even taste that great .The staff were kind of meh. I like the other location more.

Google

Google
Snow time was a gem, the matcha snow is delicious! I ordered the strawberry black tea and mini fish buns too, and everything was delightful.

Love the fish cones here! The staff is always friendly. It does get busy during peak hours but usually no more than 15 min wait for cones...worth it!

Google
So much FUN! Perfect date night experience. The fish buns were great to play with before eating. I wish I could have seen the fish cone made from scratch. So delicious, especially with the mini french macaroons. The taro vanilla swirl looked so beautiful. So many toppings to choose from. I can understand why people go for the bowl rather than the cone. There is a private fun room in the back full of positive messages. And a community board where you can put mini polaroids or business cards on. I so want to come here again. This place is very popular. there are long benches for waiting patrons. There is a doorway directly into the next door rotating suhi bar so you don't have to go out and around.

Yelp
This place is not what it used to be. I've been coming here for years and it's just not what it's used to be. I'm not sure what happened but I noticed one of the matcha loves we bought was watery. And I mentioned it to the employee and she kept saying, "it's fine, don't worry about it." I also tried to order matcha and taro together. I told her I just wanted taro on the bottom and matcha on the top. And she said she wouldn't do it. I know rules change but I'm not asking for extra ice cream, and I don't want to buy two separate ice creams if I'm still going to eat the same amount. I felt super deflated because I drove out of my way to come here and they wouldn't do it. I go out of my way to come to Snowtime and so did the rest of my family. I could've just bought a tub of taro and matcha and been done but I really wanted to support this business. I think I'll just do that in the future. The place was still clean, but the bathroom was filthy. But the service was terrible. I don't expect royal treatment, I just expected kindness.

Yelp
Snowtime is hands down my favorite dessert place. I come here every time I go eat out with my friends and have introduced all of them to this amazing place. The ice cream is my go to. I love how they have other things on the menu so everyone I come with can always get something they like. Also the service is always amazing. I have not once experienced a bad time here and I've been coming here for YEARS. You can probably tell by how many pictures I have that I genuinely LOVE this place

Yelp
I've visited here some times and really enjoyed their taiyakis. The last time I came here, I got the blueberry cheese taiyaki ice cream thing, which is a blueberry cream cheese inside the taiyaki. It reminds me of a mix of cream cheese mixed with the Noosa blueberry yogurt. It's the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It comes with ice cream and a few different toppings on top. In addition to taiyaki ice creams, they also have shaved ice and some other savory taiyaki options like ham and cheese. Staff here is friendly and they have a few tables for hanging out or studying. Parking is plentiful in the plaza.

Yelp
Stopped by here to grab dessert after eating dinner nearby and the staff was so friendly. They were close to closing so we grabbed ours and sat outside but this snow packed a ton of flavor and was everything I wanted! Definitely will go back.

Yelp
Came here for the first time with a friend today. Got the taro ice cream in a fish cone, with mini mochi and mini macaroon as topping. So cute! And Yummm!
google avatar

Faith H.

Yelp
The fish cones are the best and the soft serve is the most amazing I have ever had! I love the mini macaron they put on it and always get my cone filled with custard. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
I wanted to try some sweet desserts like ice cream and shaved ice or snow after an afternoon of eating, shopping, and walking around in the city of Chandler, AZ. I know... did I not get enough earlier LOL. Nope, I always welcome more unless I truly can't fit anymore food in my tummy. Snowtime is within the same plaza as unPhogettable, Heavenly Bakeshop, Lee Lee International Supermarket, and Urbanh Cafe (yes, these are the other shops we visited on the same day LOL). I was hoping to have a wonderful visit here at Snowtime, but unfortunately, it was just okay. Upon entry, we were greeted right away. The menu was off to the left side from the counter versus right behind it. It didn't appear as though we were in line. Anyway, my eldest daughter chose Expresso Snow... it has a coffee base and some toppings on top. It's not the best snow dessert that I've ever eaten. I actually did not care for it. The scoop of ice cream was yummy though. By the time we got to the bottom of the cup, it was just expresso flavored ice. They also sell taiyaki... we didn't get any because we were actually stuff from lunch, but Mommy just wanted some ice cream LOL. Staff was okay. Prices were decent. Ambiance was bright, clean, and inviting. They have lots of indoor and some outdoor seatings. I probably would return here to try their other snows. Hopefully, they have better ones to my liking.

Yelp
Never have tried matcha ice cream before and this was delicious! Great price for so many options for toppings!
google avatar

Kimmy H.

Yelp
The Tira-Miss-You was delicious and so light for a hot summer day. This shaved ice cream delight reminds me of Hawaii's shaved ice. Service was very slow that day I had been waiting for awhile for them to prep the dessert but worth the wait. Very hot in the place that sells the ice cream. My friend advised maybe they have it that way to ease our brain freeze haha! Give it a try!
google avatar

Claris B.

Yelp
Honestly would not recommend the berry peachy (left). I got it cause I like most peachy teas, but this one tasted like medicine. The strawberry latte (right) cleansed the pallet. Was sweet but not too sweet, happy I could get dairy free milk too. Which they had more dairy free options (it's hard out hear for the lactose intolerant community, we are trying our best)
google avatar

Jenae W.

Yelp
One of our groups favorite spots to get dessert after dinner! Great Taiyaki and delicious bingsu with lots of topping options, this place always hits the spot. Especially on a hot day in Arizona. They have options for those who are dairy free as well which is perfect for our group. The service is quick and the employees are nice too.

Yelp
Always a good time at Snow Time with the medley of Asian desserts. Good seating and custom tea and coffee drinks available too.

Yelp
First time visiting Snowtime this past weekend and overall, had a good experience. Snowtime offers a variety of Asian desserts including shaved ice, soft server ice creak, boba/teas, and taiyaki. Per their website, their first location was opened in the Bay Area, and they have now since ventured to Arizona with several locations. The space is cute, clean, and offers plenty of seating for both small and large groups. Of note, outdoor seating is offered. Service was friendly and quick in getting our orders. We opted for a shaved nice as well as the taiyaki. They offer three sizes of shaved ice, however the small was more than enough to share between two people. Opting for the black sesame, we were pleased about this flavor profile. The black sesame was mildly folded within the "snow" however the majority of toppings sat atop to bowl. While it was quite yummy, I wish that the middle to bottom half of the bowl had more flavor. Instead, it was largely plain snow with the aforementioned sesame, which did not offer much enjoyment. Perhaps if we opted for the heavier flavored combos such as the espre-snow or the double oreo, the flavors may have carried down. The taiyaki was filled with red bean. Hot, fresh, and perfect! I would certainly visit Snowtime again, however my only critique at this time is improving mixing of flavors throughout the whole bowl. I do recommend this establishment to get a fix for your sweet tooth!

Yelp
My kids and I love this place. Yes I'm sure there are many other locations that have the fish come but the location is nice, specious and service is good. The music is at a moderate level where you can still carry a conversation. The ice cream is delicious you get to put a filling I got Nutella and two toppings I got Oreo and a mini macaron (I ate it super fast lol did not made it to the picture). My son got an ice cream I forgot the name it is the first time having it but it is shaved ice with Oreo and some other sweat cream. He recommends you mix it all before just eating all the top lol.

Yelp
Awesome taiyaki (FISH ICE CREAM lol) spot located in the H Mart food court alongside several restaurants. They make the cones fresh and the soft serve is delicious. They also have several other desserts including shaved ice. We went here after grabbing Korean bbq nearby and it totally hit the spot! Service was friendly and quick and prices were very reasonable for an Instramable sweet treat!
google avatar

Yelp
I love the Matcha love from here! A large could feed like four people I swear so a small is like one to two people that's definitely enough. The red bean inside of my Matcha love really helps cut down the sugar. Everyone is so nice here and it really shows that they working here. Very beautifully decorated and everyone is super helpful.

Yelp
This place is amazing. If you want a nice chill place to get some desert, this is your place. There are so many unique options. I had the seasonal Apple Carmel Snow, and it tasted just like an Apple Pie. It was sooooo good.

Yelp
This place is amaaazzziiinng! We've been here three times and leaves me wanting more every time. Although technically it's Korean desserts it takes me back to one of our trips to Japan with the fish shape treats. The waffle cone fish (taiyaki) were so tasty and you can get both savory and sweet fillings as well as a waffle cone ice cream with the fish shape! They also have bingsoo/shaved snow, with a variety of different add ons, as well as coffee, tea and other drinks.
google avatar

Christine G.

Yelp
I love this place! It's my go-to dessert place to show to friends and family for a more unique dessert. I love getting the fish cake cone desserts and have yet to be disappointed. The inside is always clean and they are very quick with getting the orders out. Every time I come here I always find myself thinking about it a few days after. Definitely recommend this place to satisfy your sweet tooth!
google avatar

Randee L.

Yelp
The taro soft serve was delicious! I had it in the fish cone which was soft yet crispy.
google avatar

Kimi S.

Yelp
Every order and visit we've had has been a great experience. From the cleanliness of the shop, to the flavors and quality of all items, the unique offers to the variety of sweets, every experience there has been positive. We usually go in a big group for an after dinner/event dessert spot. I don't like things too sweet, so I'll order w/less sugar/condensed milk, etc. I've had the matcha snow, taro matcha swirl, fishcone, Affogato, & boba milk teas. I'm sure you'll be able to find something that'll entice your taste buds at this dessert spot!
google avatar

Joy C.

Yelp
Nice place to visit for a sweet treat especially in this Arizona heat. I think the soft serves with the fish shaped cakes are more worth than their drinks or the shaved milk desserts but that's just my personal preference!

Very creative dessert! Friendly staff amd amazing service! Price is reasonable. I would totally recommend this place.

Yelp
I am not a fan of shaved ice. That said, this place has it right. I did get the "regular" which is oddly way too much for one person. And yes I ate every bit of it. Next time I would order the small or perhaps give the cone a try. So far I'm a fan of this new place!!
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Services are great and very friendly, delicuous ice creams and drinks!! ^^ The store inside is also spacious and good place to talk.
google avatar

Yelp
I loooved this place! The bingsu (snow) was absolutely to die for. I got the double Oreo and it was so good. It was huge- I could have split it with someone else! Just be aware- it is shaved milk! My dairy sensitive husband did not know this and did not have a happy tummy after but he said it was worth it. The taiyaki (fish cones) were also so yummy! We got the minis stuffed with custard. I got a cup of taro soft serve with black sesame and loved it. I will definitely be returning. All of the staff was also really nice and the restaurant was cute and clean.
google avatar

Darya S.

Yelp
I'm baffled by the high reviews. Are people's standards that low? This was not a good dessert. Dropped $13 for a small black sesame snow bowl. The calories were not worth it. There were a few beans, some white goo, some messy sesame, and a cup of shaved dust. It's so low-quality. I would send my enemy here to waste their money. We tried a few spoons and threw it out. What a waste. The fish buns (tried three flavors: Nutella, red bean, and custard) were dry and tasteless. Nothing redeemable here for me.
google avatar

Abhishek S.

Yelp
I saw the rave reviews about the place and decided to give it a shot, but was thoroughly disappointed. There was nothing special about the snow. It was very generic and nothing to rave about. The place is nice and clean and good to go for a quick fix, but, not one of the places I would drive out of my way to make a stop. Food was average and service was OK. Overall, nice but I would try other places, before finding my go to spot in AZ this summer time.
google avatar

Selena P.

Yelp
Cute place for desserts, the employees are so sweet and the desserts are delicious! You can tell that they really put love and care into their desserts. I tried the custard, blueberry cheesecake, and Nutella flavors of the golden fish buns along with the miss-you-matcha snow and all of them were perfect!
google avatar

Dave M.

Yelp
Love me the Snowtime! Have to say Korean ice cream is new to me...but I can have a growth mindset and learn to appreciate new things. This is easy when it's delicious! What makes Snowtime different than all of the countless other ice cream shops? No ice cream but shaved milk instead with great toppings. It's got to be a tiny bit healthier than cream (let's me have more toppings) Service was perfect! Very kind counter staff explained to me the menu and help me with all of my questions. Order was exact. Store was spotless. Everyone was happy. My kind of place!
google avatar

Steve T.

Yelp
Got my Taiyaki ice cream fix. Basically a fresh made japanese style waffle made into a fish shape bottom filled with choice (red bean custard matcha). Also ice cream choice (could vary) And variety of toppings (2 included) I got my Tai Yaki filled with custard, swirl taro/vanilla ice cream with Taro flakes and sliced almonds. Ice cream was really good, liked the Taro flavor and the vanilla blend. So reminded me of the soft serve in Japan. The toppings were nice and subtle liked the smaller size more like crushed almonds matched well. Filling of custard was ok and waffle was good soft and chewy from the ice cream and the edges were nice and crisp. I usually don't eat too much ice cream but devoured that thing
google avatar

Kim Loan L.

Yelp
Staff was friendly, love her energy! Made us feel very welcome. Place is super cute and clean. Ordered the limited time Tropical Delight. It had milk ice, perfectly cut fruits (peach, watermelon, pineapple and strawberry) drizzled with condensed milk and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
google avatar

Valerie M.

Yelp
Well this was crazy good. I had no idea what it was and just asked what's most popular. Then i go and order something that comes in second in the popularity contest here. That would be a Tira Mis YOU. Deliciousness Habit forming Pure innocence Well ite almost got me convinced it's a guilt free pleasure. Good stuff. Part snow cone, part trickery, complete goodness.
google avatar

Yelp
When the weather turned 100+ degrees today, we knew it was time to head to Snowtime! We ordered custom build-your-own snow ice - mine with coconut milk, strawberries, mini mochi and matcha dust - another with condensed milk, strawberries, banana and mango. It was perfect for my midday snack! Service was excellent and thanked us for coming in

Yelp
Really good ice cream, and SNOWS. The Taro/Chocolate swirl, and Matcha was great in the fish cone. The Cons with getting the fish cone is that towards the end or if you're a slow eater. It will get messy, but it's not like a little bit of napkins can't help. It's not a con exactly but getting the fish cone ice cream is quite filling so be aware. If you're eating it right after a heavy dinner then you might not finish it. The Snow's we got were the EXPRES-SNOW, SWEET SUNSET AND CHOCO BUTTER KISS. All of them all really good! They do however melt kinda fast so that's a bit of a downside but worth it! I will say if you like coffee and I mean you like it a lot. You'll love the EXPRES-SNOW. It can be a bit too much overtime but it's still really good, but take this from someone who doesn't drink coffee regularly. The sizes though for the Snow's are HUGE! I shared one with my bf, we got a regular size. Thinking it would be a good size, and it was GIANT even for the two of us. So we had to get it to go cup. I think the regular size could feed 2-3 people. A large is like a for 4-6 people, and the small is like 1-2 people. The sizes aren't a con since you're getting what you paid for, but it's just something to be aware about when ordering.

Yelp
My teenager and I LOVE this place! We have never had a bad experience. We've always gotten the snows. She found her fave on her first try: Sweet Sunset. I have tried Double Oreo (LOVED IT!), Fruitilicious (It was ok), Tira-Miss-You (LOVED IT!) and a few bites of my teenager's Sweet Sunset (LOVED IT!). We've come during busy times and during slow times. No complaints of the busy times because it's completely understandable. The staff has always been nice and polite. They answered our questions during our first visit. The store is so cute and has a great ambiance. The reason for my review: whomever prepped the fruit for today did an AMAZING job. The mango and strawberries were chopped the perfect size! Bravo!

Yelp
I have been visiting Snowtime for some time now. My latest visit was last night. The place itself is always kept clean, and there is plenty of indoor seating as well as a few tables outside. The service is always great. I usually get the fish cone, which is a delicious waffle like cone. You get to choose what flavor ice cream, inside filling, and toppings that you would like to add. Pictured is the fish cone with vanilla ice cream, custard filling, mochi and oreo crumbles for the toppings. Sooooo good! You will not regret giving this place a chance.

Yelp
They updated the menu board. I kinda liked the chalk type signage. Yet the new boards are a little easier to read. They have good fish shaped pancakes but their other offerings are also good. I like their shaved ice. I haven't tried their milk tea or teas. I should try them at some point. Toppings can be added: popping pearls: mango, strawberry, or jelly: lychee, mango, coffee. They also have espresso. These include americano with decaf available, cafe latte, mocha latte, caramel latte, vanilla latte, and affogato. I like that they put condensed milk on the shaved ice as one of the options. They have traditional Korean desserts including shaved ice, ice cream, drinks, and golden buns. The soft serve golden fish cones are delicious. They have about four rotating flavors served in a fish shaped waffle cone with fillings and toppings. I have had the vanilla, chocolate, taro, and matcha. You can choose fillings like nutella, custard, and red bean. Two toppings can be chosen from a large selection like matcha dust, cocoa dust, taro dust, soybean powder, black sesame, fruity pebbles, sliced almonds, coconut flakes, sprinkles, mini macaron, mini mochi, pocky, strawberry, oreo crumbs, graham crumbs. I like the mini macaroni and the mochi. I tried the fruit licious with seasonal fresh fruits. I also tried the sweet sunset with strawberries, mango, and strawberry puree.

Yelp
We love getting our dessert fix after hot pot from Snowtime! The fish cone soft serve is so good!

Carissa C.

Yelp
Everything here is absolutely delicious and what keeps me coming back. The service is timely however a bit lackluster.

Yelp
Such delicious dessert here! Snowtime is located on the opposite side of the plaza with Lee Lee's supermarket, and there's ample parking nearby. The space is big enough to take a medium to large size group (at least on a day when it's not crowded). On my first visit, I ordered a matcha taro swirl ice cream in a fish cone, filled with Nutella, and topped with Oreo crumbles and mochi. I also ordered the cheese, chocolate, and PB&J mini taiyakis. All of it was so tasty! The soft serve was sweet - but not too sweet, for all of the Asian aunties out there - and the texture of the taiyaki (both the fish cone and the minis) was crispy on the outside and chewy (in the mochi/rice flour kind of way, not in the undercooked way) on the inside. On my second visit, I customized a bingsu with coffee milk, tiramisu, condensed milk, mochi, and coffee jelly. The tiramisu chunks mixed with the coffee milk snow was AMAZING. It was a combo that obviously made sense, but I never knew I needed! Snowtime is going to stay on my regular rotation for Asian desserts in the East Valley. Run, don't walk, to get some soft serve and bingsu!!

Yelp
Delicious!! This place is awesome had the Black Sesame snow bowl, wow!! Also chocolate soft serve on a fish waffle cone made fresh with blueberry cream cheese, really tasty. Topped it off with three waffle fish with custard, Nutella and last one blueberry. This place awesome and fun. Come by and chill.

Yelp
Probably one of the best dessert places I've had in a really long time! Location: Snowtime is conveniently located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I saw they also have numerous locations and were also recommended to me when I looked up places to visit in Arizona! Staff: Service was amazing. The sweetest, most attentive, friendly lady took our order and another staff member quickly made it. The staff would constantly come around cleaning, too! I personally think this is so important especially at dessert stores. Nobody likes sticky tables! Food: Their Korean shaved ice is not to be missed! Personally I love injeolmi so we opted for Gold Dust. The name is definitely on par. Their fish cones were also SO good. I'm not too big of a fan on overly sweet treats but this hits the spot so well. Overall if I lived closer, I'd be a more frequent customer. Please open one in California!! To all folks nearby, would highly recommend!!

Yelp
Came here for dessert after having JinShabu next door. They have a large menu which covers fruit teas, milk teas, and their specialty which is shaved snow. I believe it's shaved frozen milk which gives the snow a sweet and milky flavor. My boyfriend and I got a custom snow with mango, mini mochi, and matcha ice cream, while our friends enjoyed an Espressnow, which is coffee flavored toppings on snow. I will add that while they are the same price, the custom snow was half the size of our friends made to order snows. Great place for dessert, the size difference of the snows and the odd smell in the restaurant make it a 4/5.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
This place was AMAZING!!!! It was such a cool little place. The fish ice cream cones were outstanding!!
google avatar

Melli K.

Yelp
Snowtime is one of my favorite AZ Korean desert places! Their Bungeo-ppang in my opinion is the best as it's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I usually add the rest bean paste on the inside and add it with my favorite soft serve! I love that they change it up for their swirl choices, so sometimes I can do the vanilla & taro combo! The ambiance is really cute & you can tell it has been given care as a family owned business. The owner is there all the time, even though she doesn't need to be- which shows how much she cares about the success about her business. It's a great place to get soft serve, Bingsu, or maybe a Goguma (sweet potato) latte! Additionally, the workers are constantly cleaning and wiping down tables which is a big plus for me since I think cleanliness in an establishment is extremely important. Photos and videos don't do this place justice - so if you're in the mood for a Korean delicacy, I recommend you checking this place out!

Yelp
Protip: The snows are great, but can be overly sweet so be slow with the condensed milk! Highlights: I was obsessed with this place when they first opened. I think I've tried almost every snow they offer. I went again after COVID-19 and found the snow to be too sweet. I was surprised because my friends and I used to be able to eat two larges without blinking an eye, but maybe my taste buds have just changed. Taiyaki dough mixture is pretty good - soft and chewy, but crispy on the outside. Mochi topping is very soft. Lowlights: I tried the soft serve on a different visit since the snows were too sweet and I was pretty disappointed. They just didn't taste like anything at all except for soft serve. Totally lacking in flavor and they are pretty light on the "free two toppings" as well. I ordered the sliced almonds, but they barely give any and it's more like diced almonds.
google avatar

Julia S.

Yelp
After weeks of craving taiyaki, I visited this place with my older sister and mother. We ordered three fishcones with softserve (1 matcha, 2 matcha-strawberry swirls) for ~$25 (including 15% tip). I found the strawberry to be really overpowering, and could not taste the matcha notes. The mini macaron and mini mochi toppings were so tasty + cute. And the taiyaki was underfilled (I expected more red beans) and slightly undercooked, but that's okay! If you're looking for an instagrammable treat on a hot, sunny day, it doesn't hurt to stop by. I wish I could comment on their (shaved ice dessert) but I unfortunately didn't try it!
