Snuffel Hostel

The one thing that impressed me the most about Snuffel Hostel was the wheel accessibility aspect. There are elevators in the building. The hallways and dorms have extra allowances for a wheelchair to move around. There are accessible bathrooms and showers. It is quite apparent that the building was designed for the purpose of a highly accessible hostel. Supermarket and bus stops are within walking distance. The old city centre is not too far away either. However, the train station is a bit far away. I had two restful nights. Thank you.

Great location with the bus stop to the main train station only a 5 minute walk away. About the same amount of time to b walk to the Old town centre along a gorgeous street. Staff are helpful and the rooms are a great size (booked a private room with ensuite). Everything you need is in the kitchen and the bar prices are reasonable.

Very well organized hostel. Clean. Other than a few employees they are mostly friendly. Breakfast has nothing much to offer. It is 4 euros but I would still like to see at least olives and maybe tomatoes, cucumber?

I found my room clean, spacious, and comfortable. Social atmosphere at the bar, however it was not open on Monday night. The breakfast very reasonable for the price. Plenty of showers and bathrooms so no wait to use those facilities. Easy and scenic walk to market square and nearby attractions.

Location is very central in a quiet area. It is a basic hostel and it is clean. Great big lockers in rooms and lockers to leave bags on day of check in and check out. There is no curtains around the beds which is a bit annoying. For the price it is worth it.

Very good location, 8 min walk to the downtown. Super kind staff at the bar, reception & cleaning. Also the bar has a good environment & the rooms are very spacious. I personally felt super safe because they have lockers with customized codes in every room, also in case you checked out, they have lockers that you can still access.

Worst booking experience ever! Impossible to cancel as they don’t pick up the phone yet got charged for the nights accommodation which I didn’t make use of. Totally disappointed! When I tried to explain my situation they refused to wave my cancellation fees even though it was peak time after Tomorrowland weekend when everyone was looking for a room so it could have easily been sold again.

Absolutely fantastic hostel. The best on my travels so far. Everything was excellent! Modern, great bar area, safe. The rooms, bathrooms, showers and communal areas were all very clean and well maintained. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. The size of the storage lockers is fantastic for backpackers too! Very well priced at €27 per night for a 4 bed dorm. And the €4.50 buffet breakfast is a winner! The location is a 30 minute walk from the train station which is tiring when walking with a big backpack, but Bruges is so beautiful I didn’t mind walking at all. I stopped at Da Vinci Gelato twice along the way for a break. My first time in Bruges and I absolutely loved it! One day when I come back I would definitely stay at Snuffel again!
