The madness of Lisbon…Ordering a flat white which only comes in large as per the menu and receiving 100ml of coffee and being charged 4.40 (50 cent for oat milk). When asking why it’s so small when it’s meant to be large - work person says she’s worked there 3 years and no one has ever complained (not sure asking whether this is a large is actually a complaint). So I say I’ve lived here for many years and never had a flat white this small to which she replies by rolling her eyes and saying sarcastically ‘and you don’t speak Portuguese, wow how terrible’. To which I tell her she’s being xenophobic at best, racist at worst. Well wasn’t that a nice start to my day! NOT Terrible, nasty woman who jumps on the defensive/attack when asked a simple question and also has no problem making customers wait while she chats with a friend.

SO Coffee Shop is a very small place nestled within a clothing store, with only four tables to sit. The barista really knows her stuff and was very friendly. The coffee quality is excellent; we had a latte and an espresso, both of which were outstanding. The only downside is that the music is a bit loud.

Amazing coffee. Music is a little high if you want to go there to read. The kindest barista ever.

It is such a nice place. The sometimes tiring Lisbon old town and the coffee shop are very well separated. I definitely recommend this cafe if you are into chill hip hop beats, great coffee and fashion.

Visited this café and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the coffee. The baristas were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The latte I ordered was top-notch, with a rich, full flavor that was a delight to drink. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this cafe and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a great cup of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you are a coffee enthusiast or a fashion lover, So Coffee Roasters offers a little slice of charm in the heart of Lisbon, next to "Armazéns do Chiado". I opted for a cappuccino, and the taste was superb. The rich aroma and velvety texture of the espresso were a delight to my senses. However, to my surprise, the cappuccino arrived almost cold. While this was a slight disappointment, the quality of the coffee itself was evident, and the flavours were enjoyable. Considering the enjoyable atmosphere, friendly staff and the superb cappuccino (despite its temperature), I would gladly revisit So Coffee Roasters if I find myself walking nearby. It offers a unique blend of fashion and coffee.

Good expirienced barista which put much love in that what he's doing! I took cappuccino: -perfect ratio milk/coffee/cream, whith approx. 22sec/22ml well adjusted espresso with preinfusion cca 3sec. Milk was approx. 50-54°C which is a bit colder, but with those espresso beans (light roasted arabica from Columbia) was going well. Presentation nice as well. 3,50 euro for cappuccino, at this high quality definately worth it!
