The food was good, but there were limited options at around 4-5pm Saturday when I arrived there, there was only chinese available and nothing else from the menu (I was planning to have northern), (Also since it was raining heavily, so maybe they were not expecting a lot customers at that moment since it is a rooftop restaurant, so it is fine). I ordered the Wonton Veg Soup, and the Chilli Potato which were good. The hakka noodles were okayish as they seemed a little undercooked to me. Could have been better if cooked a little more as my friend had a stomach ache the next day. The ambience was awesome. The view was great. You can easily spot the sunset at one side and also find the sky getting darker on the other side with a scenic view of the twilight. I specifically picked this place up looking at the weather and with the timing, planning on catching the sunset with the clouds in these sudden rains and cloudy sky. Couldnt have been more pleasant! Also spotted a rainbow. :) Service was 10/10. The staff were very polite, courteous, and friendly. :)

I RECENTLY DINED AT " SO THE SKY KITCHEN " AND FOUND THE FOOD TO BE QUITE GOOD. THE PRICES ARE ON THE HIGHER SIDE, TYPICAL OF A FINE-DINING EXPERIENCE, BUT THE QUALITY AND CUSTOMIZATION OF THE DISHES JUSTIFY THE COST. HOWEVER, ONE ISSUE THAT STOOD OUT WAS THE ACCESSIBILITY OF SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS DRINKING WATER. I ASKED FOR WARM WATER, BUT WHEN IT WAS SERVED, BOTH GLASSES HAD HEAVY WHITE POWDER SEDIMENTS AT THE BOTTOM. WHEN I INQUIRED ABOUT IT, I RECEIVED A VAGUE EXPLANATION. EVENTUALLY, I OPTED FOR BOTTLED WATER, ONLY TO BE CHARGED 180 INR FOR A SINGLE BOTTLE. AS SOMEONE WHO ALWAYS CARRIES MY OWN WATER IN HYDERABAD (DUE TO CONCERNS ABOUT HOTEL WATER QUALITY), I WENT TO MY CAR TO GRAB MY OWN BOTTLE. TO MY SURPRISE, I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR THE BOTTLED WATER, EVEN THOUGH I DIDN’T USE IT. WHEN I REQUESTED A REFUND OR DEDUCTION FROM MY BILL, THEY REFUSED, CITING THAT I HAD PAID WITH A CARD INSTEAD OF CASH OR UPI. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD EXPECT FROM A FINE-DINING ESTABLISHMENT. WATER IS A BASIC NECESSITY, AND IT SHOULD BE PROVIDED FREELY AND IN A SAFE, CLEAN FORM AT ANY RESTAURANT. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS FOR SOMETHING AS ESSENTIAL AS DRINKING WATER, REGARDLESS OF THEIR STATUS. WHILE I APPRECIATED THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE FOOD, THE SERVICE LEFT MUCH TO BE DESIRED. GIVEN THIS EXPERIENCE, I’M UNLIKELY TO RETURN, DESPITE THE QUALITY OF THE MENU.

Excellent roof top restaurants located in plush locality of Jubilee Hills, this place is a perfect place to sit with friends or family and enjoy the meals. Located on the top floor on a small hill, ambience is beautiful with spread out sitting arrangements and lovely view of Jubliee and Banjara Hills. It is definitely, an icing on the cake. There are ample food options and the portion and the taste of the food is really nice. Liked the chicken sole kebabs, and special mutton gravy. The presentation of the food was also really good. Valet parking is available here. Overall, a beautiful roof top restaurant where food is also equally good.

I have recently visited this place for dinner and I loved the ambience but we had such a bad experience as we found a cockroach in the food which was very clearly visible and the manager was not even sorry for the instance and was least concerned when I was speaking to him and This is not a at all expected !

Went here with family for lunch. There were hardly anyone in the restaurant, even though it was a weekend! That was the first hint! Service was fast enough... Servers were attentive. We ordered some appetisers and mocktails... The malai kabab was decent... Rest of them were not so great! Very unimaginative... Mocktails were very costly, NOT worth the money at all... For such a restaurant, charging 500 for a mocktail is ridiculous! The veg fried rice was VERY dry and couldn't eat much... The mutton biryani was more like hardly cooked mutton mixed with rice... Very bland and tasteless (to give credit to the waiter, he did warn me that it's not hyd style dum biryani). The pasta was good, though they did add more sauce than needed. They didn't have the credit card machine working... And were asking me to pay cash... Finally they made me send money to their personal UPI. NOT GOING HERE EVER AGAIN.

So the Sky Kitchen is beautiful in the evenings. The ambience takes over the food and service for sure! The price point is quite okay for the service, it gets better if you have a Dineout discount. Fun evenings, great place for casual drinks or date. I would highly recommend this place.

So The Sky Kitchen: A fantastic spot with a delightful atmosphere and ambiance. Perfect for dining with friends and family, offering both open-air and air-conditioned seating. The food and drinks are quite tasty, with the chicken malai kabab as a personal favorite. Reservations are a must on weekends, but be prepared for slow service and less-than-ideal staff behavior & relatively very high prices. #SoTheSkyKitchen #DiningWithAView 🍗🌟
