So Young Hostel

This was my very first time in Greece, and So Young Hostel made it unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with tips on where to go and what to see. The atmosphere was relaxed and social, making it easy to meet other travelers. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Heraklion, so you can walk to cafes, shops, and historical sites in minutes. The place was clean, comfortable, and felt safe at all times. Amazing people, great vibes, and the perfect base for exploring Crete. I’ll definitely be back!

Typical hostel. Private toilet bathrooms but coed/ mixed showers. The showers are really nice and have doors that you can’t see anyone but weird to have a man showering in the same room. Bathrooms were the cleanest. Air conditioning was okay. Pretty hot at night. Felt like a safe area. Bring your own lock and towel and shower shoes. Very friendly staff and rooftop bar to get to know people.

Location is perfect for all activities. All the staff was super knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly beautiful <3 . The rooms and common areas are very clean and thoroughly cleaned daily. 1000/10 would stay again.

Stayed at So Young Hostel in Heraklion and absolutely loved it. The whole place is super clean and well taken care of, which made a huge difference — especially the bathrooms and dorms, everything felt fresh and tidy.||||The location’s great too, right in the center so you can walk pretty much anywhere. If you’re traveling solo or with friends and want somewhere clean, comfy, and social, I’d 100% recommend So Young. It’s perfect for young travelers — super chill, friendly atmosphere, and so easy to meet people. I’m already thinking about coming back!

Great hostel! Located in a great spot near the city centre and the port. One of the cleanest hostels I have probably ever stayed in, with a fully equipped kitchen free to use! Yorgos and Maria were super accommodating and had great recommendations for everything in the area. Couldn't recommend it more!

The best hostel I’ve ever been! The staff is friendly, helpful and has a positive attitude. The hostel is clean and has a nice terrace, which was my favorite place! Highly recommended✨✨

I had a great experience in this hostal. Everything was really clean, a lot of quietness and very close to the city center. Everyone was very respectful and the service at the reception was amazing. The manager and the girls were very friendly. I'll recommend 100%
