Cozy place to dance freely. More fun, more drink. I liked it. Highly recommended

It's a narrower venue than I thought, but it was pretty well organised. Maybe a bit more airing would be better, considering huge masses of people and concerts. The lights were also sometimes a bit too fast, you couldnt really see anything and made a bit dizzy.

A great venue. Small venues such as SO36 are so important to the music scene and this one is very vibrant. Full of supercharged atmosphere and a bustling crowd. The sound was crisp and clear.

I lived around the corner from the club for three years (2017-2020). They had a history of hiring racist and skinhead bouncers. (Such as the notorious night they'd advertised an "Iggy Pop" show only to find out it was just a book signing for an Iggy Pop comic book.) Another time I stood in line for an hour on a cold February night. My friend really wanted to go. It was an 80s night. The line was around the corner. We finally get to the front and the bouncer waved my friend in but opened the rope for me to go out. His excuse? "You caused trouble last time." I'd never been there before. I never forgave them for this. I wrote to the management about the incident but received no answer. But I had to walk past the club every single day because I lived so close to it. So I was aware of what went on. I was far from the last person to be mistreated. This part of Kreuzberg, in general, is both defiantly and historically anti-racist. So I don't know what SO36's problem is... but they don't deserve all the support they get from the community. They've been coasting too-long off a reputation from the 70s.

Went for the first time to see the flea market. It was so busy we couldn't view many of the items, but the quality of what we did see was dire. Clothes piled up on top of eachother, and people blocking the way of others to see items. There was almost nothing of a punk style, mostly old generic jumpers from 30 years ago. The toilet also had a broken seat.

Enjoyable throwback to the eighties. A must go if you are into this type of music and vibe. I don't but that didn't stop me from having fun. Very nice crowd.

We were there for a nostalgic night about 80's songs and people were truly enjoying the music:) Book your ticket beforehand to skip the cue.
