Very small for big events. Definitely a good option to have fun, but the waiting times are huge. You better have a 2nd option in mind or come veeeery late to get in. Personal was no so nice and there was no organization at all in the line. Anyway once in, you'll definitely have fun!

Comparingly small concert venue but also quite convenient, with an outer quieter area and inner stage-front part. For more local bands and events, it’s a nice place to visit

I went on Monday to the roller disco night. It was quite fun. The main saloon is small, but big enough to skate at a slow pace. People have to skate around a delimited rectangular center. The center is reserved for more static skaters that prefer to spin or move without moving too far. The music and ambiance are very cool with a strong 70's vibe which go great with skates. The entrance is 9 euros and you can rent skates for 3 euros every half hour. The quality of the skates it's not great but acceptable for novice skaters .

Great atmosphere, good sound, fair prices, and some amazing old school punk rock.. loved it! Also very friendly and welcoming staff. One of my favourite places in Berlin for a night out.

It's a narrower venue than I thought, but it was pretty well organised. Maybe a bit more airing would be better, considering huge masses of people and concerts. The lights were also sometimes a bit too fast, you couldnt really see anything and made a bit dizzy.

Great venue, but watch out for the ugly chuckle brothers on the door. What a pair of miserable sods. They look like a couple of shaven bollocks.

Paid 15 euro for a metal concert it was just a dj playing, and a bunch of posers barely dancing. no pit. no mosh. they played a metal version of koombaya and we left

Don't go to the Night Market (Nachtflohmarkt) here. Terrible organization. Too many people cramped into one space. Literally no place to move between the tables with people that sell their used Adidas pants. We entered the venue, realized that we can't even move forward because of the crowd and exited after 5 minutes while some people were trying to shop squeezed by 5 others. Perfect space for pickpocketing or dying inside in case a fire or some emergency breaks out.

This was a really average bar. Went on a Friday night. People aren't super open to dancing with others & the drinks were decent. It's easy to get in but not really that great or that bad.

I have only been to Gayhane here once but it was an excellent night!!! And then I went to one of the Café Fatale nights with a group of friends. I am not a couples dancer and this woman came to ask me to dance when the room was full or lovely women but she insisted. I told her that I don't dance well in couples. We went around once or twice and she dropped me off from whence we came. She said at the end you're right, you aren't a good couples dancer.

Used to be one of the main features of kreuzberg area, now as far as i know it is closed and looking for new owners. The oriental gay and lesbian nights were legendary...even for good old straight guys like me.

I LOVE Kiezbingo. Went there with a friend of mine and we had the best time. So much fun, that she even accidentally broke of a lil piece of my tooth. ;) The show was just hilarious. The drag queens Inge Borg & Gisela Sommer who do the show are really entertaining. We went there closer to the show, so we werent able to get a seat for the first little while but even standing at the bar was totally cool. Kiezbingo is usually every second tuesday of the month but on summer break now and will be back in october. Was my first time there and Ill def go again. Havent been to any other shows or parties at the SO36 yet but Ill def check that out in the future.

Part of the reason we came to Berlin in Sept. was to see the Hellacopters last tour. Very helpful staff saving tix for us coming from overseas. The club is long and tough to see the stage when all those tall Germans are crowded in there, but great viewing most other nites.

Berlin SO 36 The berlin Rock institution this is one of the coolest Venues in Town has been host to almost any cool punk band that has played in Berlin Black flag,Dead Kenndys toy dolls in the day 80s And whatever is up and coming now Feels like home Of corse one of the best things is There are plenty of Bars and restauants on the same block So you can always have a meal Meet for a drink and dump whoever doesnt like to pogo off and the old folks home :-) me too please

One of most weired places in berlin. A collection of old L& G mostly racist ones. Music was good somehow.

I went there last weekend, there was this 80's party. Music was fantastic, Boys and girls, youngsters and aged ones, everybody was there. we were early so we didn't wait at the queue, but when I went out for some fresh air, I saw that there was a long long queue. I liked the place and I'll definitely go there again.

Only went once and it wasn't a normal night there, but I will admit that we had fun checking it out.

Great place to hang out, dance, and/or chat. The belly dancing nights are fun. :)

I like this place. It makes a good dance sandwich. I don't know if that is a move but its good enough for me to eat on the floor.Both ways make sense.

legendary lotsa cool peeps played at this place in the past. has an interesting history. centrally located in the middle of one of berlin's hippest areas (x-berg 36 reprezent!) average size venue with a small bar area to sit in the front. i have never seen a bad show here!

Hatte 2x das Privileg für ein Comedy-Projekt im SO am Lichtpult stehen zu dürfen. Beide male eine großer Spaß und eine ganz tolle Location. Alle SO-Mitarbeiter sind echt super nett, toll vorbereitet und immer hilfsbereit. Durchaus nicht selbstverständlich, wie jeder tourende Künstler bestätigen wird Das SO Publikum ist ganz fantastisch und ich freue mich schon, mal als Besucher wieder zu kommen! :)
