Great rainy day activity and very conveniently located in central Porto. The galleries were nicely curated and easy to follow. The variety was great and it was fascinating to learn more about Portuguese art, which is often overlooked in galleries in other countries.
I thought it was a bit pricey for what we got though. The museum is not big, so it took us around 2 hours to get through and there was lots of construction when we went, rendering their gardens inaccessible. Sometimes, the lighting was a bit dark too which made the writing on the placards hard to see.
Went on a February weekday morning. It wasn’t too crowded for the most part, but a large and noisy school group did come in halfway through our visit.
