Google
Fast pass was slow and the wait time for regular is around 1 hour. However this ride is pretty good and the effects are cool. One con was that someone always forgets the items under the seat.. solid ride tho

Travis Bohrer

Google
In my opinion, it is the best attraction in not only Epcot but in all of Walt Disney World. I recommend Fastpass for this. But be sure to have your walking shoes on because the exit walk back to the main building in The Land is quite long. Enjoy!

Michael J. Barros

Google
This ride is amazing and so worth the wait. It gives you and Ariel views of places you might not be able to ever see in person.

Derek Murphy

Google
This is a very cool ride and great for the whole family. There are no big drops or sudden movements. Anyone can ride this ride as long as height requirements are met. It is mostly a mobile movie simulation ride. If you are a tourist I say this is a ride to try to see if possible.

Jack S

Google
Awesome ride! I had the genie+ lighting pass which I highly recommend, so I had no wait time! Disneys rides are amazing!

Cathy Holman

Google
Been on many times. I was told it had been updated. We had only a short wait in lightning lane. We super lucked out getting middle seat second row in the middle section. They did a fantastic job freshening the experience. I've probably been on 10 times, but it was interesting and had some surprises. Cast members dealt with John's cane discretely and efficiently. Very polite. Stopped for a quick coffee before Living with the Land. Good job Disney. #Soarin #epcot #ada Coffee

Google
Soarin’ Around the World is an attraction located in EPCOT. In this ride, you get to fly in a simulator with many other people. The queue can get long on busy days, so plan accordingly. However, wait times can get low on other days. The experience itself is a one of a kind. It’s a smooth ride, but people with fear of flights shouldn’t ride. The soundtrack is amazing in this ride, and all the scenes shown throughout has effective transitions and visuals. Overall, an attraction you can’t miss!

Google
The Soarin’ Over California ride is one of my favorites in EPCOT. The lines can be very long, about an hour long, but the interactive games they display along the way does help pass the time. The movement of the ride is perfectly choreographed with the video, smells and sounds to make it feel like actual flight.

Yelp
Soarin is one of my favorite rides at Epcot and Disney's California Adventure! Soarin' is located in the Land Pavilion at Disney World's Epcot Theme Park. It's on the first level near Living with the Land. If you purchase the multi-pass lightning lane, Soarin is a Tier I ride. You can choose between Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, or Soarin Around the World initially with your first ride of the day out of the three rides you can reserve in-advance. The typical stand-by wait time for Soarin can range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes on a busy day. While waiting in the stand-by line, you can play a travel-themed trivia game using your mobile device! If you score a lot of points, you'll be on the score board at Soarin! Soarin Around the World is an immersive ride that simulates flying in the sky. Before going on the ride, you'll listen to a variety of safety instructions from a flight crew member! There are [3] different boarding levels, 1, 2, and 3. The 1st boarding group is the highest in the air, and the 3rd is the lowest in the air. Once you enter the ride, you'll sit down in the ride vehicle and buckle up. The ride vehicle lifts you in the air in front of a huge screen! There are elements to this ride like smell, wind, and movement. There used to be water when the whale would splash, but I'm not sure if that was removed? Some of the areas you'll visit on the ride are the Great Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India, Fiji's Lau Island, and so much more! The screen is massive! It's 180-degree, 80-foot Imax digital projection dome. I'm not sure if it's the same size as the Avatar ride in Animal Kingdom, but it feels similar. The music in the Soarin ride is amazing. The music and the video makes it feel like you're there, in person at all of those sites. This is a must ride for my family every time we visit Epcot! It's so much fun!

Yelp
By no means a "thrill" ride, but it's a fun one. The added smells are always fun (wouldn't mind even more). Taking small children on this ride is the best part. It's a whole new experience to them. Watching them laugh and lift their feet up when flying over mountains / pyramids, is a blast. Luckily wait times have gone down, since it's no longer the ride in the park. Try for middle section, front row if you can (best view). But all are decent enough.
google avatar

Tim K.

Yelp
This is a fun ride that gives the illusion of soaring through the air across the world. You are suspended in the air and drift through scenes and clouds as you journey around the world. It true Disney style you get to experience a lot in a short time, even getting misted when the water splashes on the screen. If you compare this ride to the Flight of the Banshee ride @ Animal Kingdom you might be disappointed as it's now a bit dated, but it's still a great and fun ride.
google avatar

Yelp
Who doesn't love Soarin'? Well if you're a little motion sickness, maybe it's not for you. My motion sickness is bad enough that I can barely handle Ratatouille haha. But it's still a fun ride! I believe they have made the return of Soarin' over California, but it was sore over the countries for a while, which was also fun, but not as authentic as Soarin' over California. So over the countries you could tell that it was really heavy in CGI. Well, if you've always wondered what it's like to fly, this is the ride for you
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
If you're doing Epcot Soarin is a must experience! Great visuals and a family fun experience!

Yelp
I'm not a fan of roller coasters or heights so I was a bit trepidatious to go on this. But I enjoyed it so much I went twice in a row! There are two main sets of seats, one in front and one behind. The ride opens in the dark and the set of seats in the front goes forward and up, making room for the back row to come forward as well. This means that the initial start for the front row is a little more swooping and for this of us who don't love heights, it's a little much, since the scenery makes it look like we're flying above the earth. The back row is a bit less high and as others have remarked, you can see the feet of the front set dangling ahead of you. So for those with fears of heights, I thought it better to be in the back set because you don't go up physically as high and the feet actually help to remind me I'm on a ride. The rest of the ride is thrilling. My husband and I loved the beauty of the scenes and with just enough swooping to feel like we were flying but not to make us scared. My husband does get motion sick and two rounds in a row did make him a little queasy but not as bad as some of the 3D rides which really bother his equilibrium.

Yelp
Soarin' over California... in Florida? I was really hoping to be soaring over Florida or somewhere else lol Disney California has the same ride and you soar over different places in California. So I was hopeful that we might soar over different places in Florida maybe? Wishful thinking I guess? Still a fun ride! You soar or "float" over orange groves, the beach, the mountains, and varies locations in California. You smell all the things too, which is fun! This is a nice ride,

PackUpNGoNow L.

Yelp
FAVORITE CLASSIC EPCOT RIDE We really enjoy Soarin' and jumped on the line when we saw the posted wait time of only 25 minutes (off peak weekend after 6 p.m.). This ride is so much fun as you glide through and above beautiful scenery (amazing low-tech technology combined with great high quality video). Paris has recently been added to the video that has remained the same for years. We wish the ride featured different videos for different ride experiences - surely Disney can do for Soarin' what it did for Star Tours (Hollywood Studios) where guests can go on the ride many times and experience different planet adventures each time.

Yelp
This is an upgrade from your typical movie theater. Once you're strapped into your seat, you're lifted up and "hang gliding" around the world to see marvels, like the Swiss Alps, Sydney Harbour, Great Wall of China, and more on a large IMAX screen. The unique part of this experience was the grassy scent. I think we were incredibly lucky to be sitting in the front. When the ride started, front seats moved towards the top. However, people in the back rows were somewhat below us, meaning our dangling feet obstructed their view and experience.  I don't think I would line up to go on this again.

Yelp
Soarin' is a flight simulated thrill ride located at disneys Epcot theme park. The ride itself is located inside a mall like area of the parks called "the land". One of the more popular rides at Epcot you can expect to wait a good hour or so with no fast pass on this ride. The ride itself has you sit down in a seat that is clustered together with a bunch of other seats. You are then propelled into the air in front of a huge screen. The ride simulates the movement as you soar through some of our worlds most beautiful sites, cities and countries. The ride itself is not only breathtaking but also had the element of fun and slightly thrilling as well. Overall This is one of the more popular Epcot rides and is for good reason. Pretty fun and offers breathtaking views or places only a few are lucky enough to travel and see all of.

Yelp
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G !!! So cool and it feels like you are Soarin' around the world. enjoying the beautiful views of the world we live in. Wait was long but super calm, cool, and pretty worth it.

Yelp
Oneof my favorite rides at Disney California Adventure, but I've only done Soarin' California, so it was nice to see a different version of the show and Soarin' Round the World is great. It always makes me laugh when you fly over water and the scent they use to represent it is men's cologne, but it's fine. If you can swing it, the best seats in the house is the first row of the middle, so you don't have feet dangling in front of you and the image isn't distorted. I rode this twice that day and both times I was on the left, so the Eiffel Tower looked like it was bending over to the right. Still, it's always fun. Wish Disney would throw a little money into it and update the videos so we could see other global treasures, but Disney ain't about giving you the best for the money you pay. That was in Walt's day. We're in the Iger era so if they can charge you more for less, they will.
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
Soarin' is located inside the Land and next to Living with the Land and other restaurants. Once you get strapped on, you go on a ride throughout California and its many landscapes and attractions. From the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite, downtown Los Angeles, and San Diego, you see and experience it all. This is the same ride that they have in Disneyland so if you go there often, this might be a ride you skip since it's not exclusive to Disney World. Either way, if you have time it's still a fun ride.
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
Pretty cool 4D experience where they take you across the world and you get to fly over iconic world landmarks! There wasn't as much movement as I expected, but that helped by allowing us to take in the breathtaking sites shown on the big screen.
google avatar

Maggie H.

Yelp
Soarin' was probably the highlight of my 2008 Disney trip and it was a lot of fun on my 2023 trip, too. We rode it twice and our timing was so good that we barely had any wait. I heard the film changed back to Soarin' over California from another that had been the film for a few years. It's a great sensory experience! Not only are you up high, but you feel a breeze and smell a few different aromas. I don't like artificial fragrances in my daily life, but such are so brief and subtle in Soarin' that I don't mind. The orange grove smelled the best. I liked soaring over the river and the other scenes early in the program the best.
google avatar

Yelp
We just took the new California version of this ride at WDW in Orlando. The former version from 2005? was a trip around the world's greatest sites like the pyramids and the Great Wall. The California version shows the Golden Gate Bridge, Big Sur, Napa valley vineyards, Yosemite water fall, and downtown LA traffic at night. It's okay but not what a new ride experience could be. It seemed small compared to the old ride and dated. I suggest a new video about America's greatest sites and experiences.
google avatar

Pamela J.

Yelp
Kinda lame. We soared over California. I could take it or leave it. Probably would not do again.

Eric M.

Yelp
I was clearly over the height requirement to wear a special buckle yet they make me wear it. It embarrassed me in front of all my friends because they referred to the people that have to wear it as little people. Clearly ridiculous!
google avatar

Yelp
Soaring around the world is located in world nature at Epcot. When I was there last, around the world was not available and has been substituted by soarin over California. The ride simulates hang gliding over different beautiful nature scapes using a huge IMAX dome and subtle pushes and effects to your seating. The ride is inclusive and easy for all ages but may not bode well for those with a fear of heights. The seating is raised for the ride (how high depends what row you are in) and it does move throughout the ride (the movements are gentle). My only gripe on this ride is that you see feet dangling above you if you are not in row 1 but otherwise a fantastic ride. Highly recommended - grandparents and kiddos can ride it alike.
google avatar

Kyle S.

Yelp
By far the best ride we experienced at EPCOT. Cool animations. Probably not the best for people who struggle with motion sickness but a solid ride.
google avatar

Brett J.

Yelp
Like being in a hand glider far about some of the worlds most iconic places! This is a gentle ride that makes you feel like you are Soaring far above the earth looking down at some of the biggest wonders of the world. (Like the Great Wall of China or the Eiffel Tower ) You can feel the wind in your hair... you can even smell the grass when flying over the savanna... it is like you are really there. It is an eye full of a ride and worth every min. of the wait!
google avatar

Danielle V.

Yelp
This has always been on our list for when we come to Epcot and it is typically our favorite ride. Flying high above and getting to see all the views was so much fun and it ended the ride with the simulation at Epcot. The ride previously would have been a 5. We just rode this ride in November and they changed the simulation to be all California and to end at Magic Kingdom which just changed the whole ride experience. That is a why the ride is now a 2. Still a great ride experience for children and adults but bring back the old scenery!
google avatar

Megan K.

Yelp
Hands down one of my most favorite Disney rides. The wait went super quickly because my friend and I were just chatting the whole time so 45 mins was nothing. Pics aren't allowed and it's no wonder, because you'd most likely drop your phone while you go soaring over the world. It's so engaging and so cool and I want to know how they make it smell in the room like the place you're soaring over. I could literally sit there and do it all day and I wish they'd make movie theaters around the country with this for discovery channel and National Geographic stuff so you could feel like you're really in those places all the time. It's an amazing experience for kids and adults and you get off the ride and immediately want to book a trip to a different country.
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
This is a run and relaxing ride. You really feel like you're flying around the world. You can feel the wind blowing your hair and you can even smell all the smells. I love this ride!
google avatar

Jackson Y.

Yelp
This was one of the best attractions I have ever experienced. You sit in a seat that is then lifted over a huge panoramic screen (think IMAX) that covers your peripheral vision. You get the feeling that you are soaring in the air over vast landscapes. I can't recommend this enough.
google avatar

Arlene M.

Yelp
Soaring is one of the more relaxing and great ways to tour the world through the art of video. If you arrive when EPCOT opens the wait is minimal as was our case. Patrick Warburton AKA "Puddy" from the Seinfeld series gives you a briefing before you enter the ride. After taking a numbered place you walk into your assigned row to have a seat and put fasten your seat belt. Small items can be stored in the pocket near the bottom of your seat. A cast member directs you where you can safely put larger items on the floor so that you don't loose them. As soon as the ride starts a roof swings down over the entire unit to give you the sensation of hang gliding. The entire unit is lifted so you can watch an Omni max video featuring not only the 7 wonders of the world but also the great icons, frozen waters with breaching whales, the great pyramids of Egypt, the great wall of China, Sydney harbor, the south pacific and a lot more! They angle the film so at times you feel like you are "touching" water-don't worry they don't splash any on you. You can feel the coldness as you soar over icy regions. All in all the ride is gentle and more relaxing. This ride is modeled after Soaring in Disney's California Adventure and recreated here. Great ride to beat the heat. Located in the Land Pavilion in the newly renamed "World Nature" section of EPCOT.
google avatar

Courtenay O.

Yelp
Except for the wait - line is longer than the ride (30 minute wait for a 5 minute ride) - this is an excellent ride to see the world and cool off. If you have a fear of heights, like our niece, you won't agree. The ride simulates a glider, floating high above landmarks. I love to lean forward, to try and catch the simulated breeze, and to forget it's make believe. That would terrify my niece! The staff here is friendly and professional. They wear masks, even though guests are exempt if guests have been vaccinated. We have been vaccinated since February and March. Hope all those around us who are not masked can say the same thing. The six foot rule is no longer enforced. But some plexiglass barriers remain. This is a safer place than most other public places!
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
My all time fav!! Disneyland has one too. I've never experienced soarin over california but i like the world more anyway. I love how you can smell grass and like sandalwood etc. and saltwater. Love how immersive it is. Beautiful views at all angles. Just sad I can't take pics!! My pilot husband adores this ride!!! 10/10!!!
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
One of my top three rides in Disney World. It was a flight simulation ride that stimulated all my senses in a good way. The flight setting was California. We flew over cities and countryside. My family and I enjoyed it so much that we rode it three times.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Love this ride. How can you not. It's gentle and takes you either through California or soarin around the world. Will include sounds sights and smells. It's basically everyone's mom's favorite ride.
google avatar

Austin B.

Yelp
Hands down the greatest ride at Epcot in my opinion. Be sure to get on this ride early in the morning because the line tends to fill up ridiculously quick and there are usually wait times of 90 minutes and long for this spectacular ride! The ride begins with an introductory video by none other than the voice of Kronk from Emperor's New Groove. He introduces how to get on the ride and what to prepare for and to let you know that if you are afraid of heights to not ride this ride. You are then lead into a insanely massive Auditorium with three sections of ride cars with three rows each. The middle is usually the best in my opinion. Loading into the ride is rather quick and before you know it you're soaring around the world. It's amazing what Disney is capable of doing it as they lift you and suspend you in the air as you watch yourself flying through different countries. You go to the wild African Plains and see gorgeous elephants while smelling some fresh cut grass and you go to India and see the Taj Mahal as well as seeing the beautiful Eiffel Tower in France! It ends with a stunning firework display at Epcot before you are safely put back on the ground. Those are just a handful of The Gorgeous places you see some stunning scenery of during this ride! A must do!
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
This ride proved time and time again as to how magical Disney can be. The imagineers of this ride completely blew it out of the on yet another magical and awe-inspiring ride. The ride is set in a giant auditorium with 3 rows of 3 hanging seats. There are three auditoriums so they fill in the ride very quickly, however due to the popularity this ride always has lines upward of 90 minutes or more. The ride itself is truly magical, making you feel like you were flying around the world to different countries. You visit China and the beautiful Great Wall and see people flying some amazing designed kites as well as the Egyptian pyramids where you get to see a few baby camels along the way! They truly took their time designing this ride and making you feel like you are genuinely at the country you are visiting. Another wonderful thing about this ride is they pump in scent during some of the scenes making you smell grass on the wild African plains or very fruity smell when you are visiting some gorgeous Islands! It's a great ride and always a must when visiting Epcot!
google avatar

Gabriella G.

Yelp
Get there as soon as the park opens and you'll enjoy the quasi no like no wait experience for this awesome ride!! They are social distancing the lines and the ride itself has a plastic barrier every 3 seats , so it felt ok - still you are inside all the time, passage ways and hallways and the ride itself is in a big room... (see picture) so if you are sensitive to being in a closed big room with mucho many people wearing masks: not for you. This was a very cool 360 immersive jump around the world!! The chairs lift up to give you a birds eye view of the marvelous sites where they take you: truly a fun experience not to miss. We loved it. It was not like Avatar, where the twists and turns of the dragon can make you dizzy, this was much relaxed bIt's flying so once you were up, it was very enjoyable - GO Soar!!!
google avatar

ILIA A.

Yelp
Absolutely love this ride! Get ready to test all your senses and travel the world! Perfect for all ages!
google avatar

Beth E.

Yelp
This is definitely my favorite ride in Epcot. I am someone who gets motion sick, but this ride doesn't bother me. I love soaring all over the world and seeing all the world has to offer. I would love Disney to change the scenery as they have had the same one for years, but I do still keep coming back.
google avatar

Stacy K.

Yelp
I love a good "IMAX" type ride. This one gives you all of the "feels" where you actually feel like you are soaring in the sky. I enjoy how the ride also lifts you up compared to the rides where you are in an auditorium staying in your seat. That way, you really feel like you are flying. We went on the similar ride in California as well and enjoyed that one too. It also a good ride to relax and get out of the heat, let go of some stress, and enjoy.
google avatar

Ashley J.

Yelp
This ride was cool. It was like you were parasailing around the world. It has cool effects as well. I just wish we were actually laying on our stomachs as if we were parasailing for real. I think that would be cool.

Yelp
Epcot (Orlando) FUTURE WORLD WEST One of my favorite rides! Enjoyed this attraction at the Disney California Adventure Park and now here at Epcot. It's almost the same ride except we end up with a fireworks display featuring the giant golf ball (Epcot's icon). After the video is shown during preboarding, where actor from the show Seinfeld explains the ride's requirements (you might better recognize him in the National Rental Car commercials -- Patrick) off we go as our chairs were lifted up (not sure how many feet up) into an area facing an IMAX movie screen and wheeeee! We're flying!! Oh the thrill to be high above soaring and seeing the world from a birds eye view as I tried to remember the names of the countries I recognized: Sydney Opera House in Australia, the Great Wall of China, Egyptian pyramids, the Taj Mahal in India, the Eiffel Tower in France... castles, hot air balloons, elephants in Africa, polar bears (I need to brush up on my geography). We were on standby and had a 30-min wait time for this ride. During our wait we joined the screens for a Soarin' Challenge and played on our phones. It made the wait time go by fast. This hang gliding ride was only about 5 mins long but it's always fun. Find this ride at Future World [West]. Review #1542

Jacky C.

Yelp
This is a pretty cool ride if you're not too overly scared of heights. They play a crazy projection at the front of the room while you "soar" over various parts of the world. They'll turn on the fan while you're going through the various landscapes and can even smell the grass when you're out in the safari of Tanzania. The ride tilts forward and backwards, but that's pretty much it.
google avatar

Diego B.

Yelp
Relaxing ride, with a few transitions that are a little startling but nothing crazy. The best way to describe it is like a 4D ride, but mostly suspended in the air in a small area. A very good first ride for anyone that's a little nervous. It was a good time for sure!
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
This ride is a favorite because you get to sit and relax and enjoy scenery from all over the world. The feeling of hang gliding around Antarctica, Africa, China, etc. is fun. If you don't like heights, this may not be the ride for you, but it's so peaceful. Get here early the lines get long. Totally worth it though.
google avatar

Yelp
I've grown up with this attraction, first Soarin' over California and then Soarin' Around the World (the current iteration). It is genuinely such a beautiful ride, with breathtaking views of famous places around our planet. Soarin was the first of its kind in simulators back when it opened, and the technology used is still impressive today. The thing that sticks with me the most from the ride is its musical score, which I make a point to listen to fairly often because it's so striking. My family has always loved the pre-show for this attraction as well, which is shown as you're waiting to load into your simulator room. Patrick, the chief flight attendant who delivers safety instructions, makes for some memorable quotes, and distracts from the waiting time to make it go by quickly. Overall, this is a classic Disney ride that is a must any time I visit Epcot :)

Yelp
Honestly if you want to do a tour flight or whatever they're called, this isn't that good of one. Most of the flight is just waiting to get to your various locations. The actual places are cool, such as Paris and the Great Wall of China, but what isn't cool is the strange safety mechanisms. You get on a plane that has seat belts, a pouch for bags, and no other safety stuff. You don't get walls, even! Not to mention you fly over all the world. You can go to Sidney and Fiji and China, but that is assuming you don't fall out of the plane. The flight plan is also kinda absurd. You go from India to America, then eventually to France only to go back to America. You started this trip going over the Matterhorn, why didn't you knock Paris off the list then and there? Oh and ALSO you need to remember that you get very close to the locations despite this flying over the whole world. You are supposed to fly over the ocean and all that yet you almost crash into balloons and kites. Did I mention the logistics of this tour? You fly over some places where you almost touch the tallest points and others you almost poke the sea. The flight is so long that it takes multiple days as evidenced by it being night when you return to Florida, where you took off from. I would not be shocked if this whole tour is close to being banned from happening. You're going to a ton of places and almost destroy a few of them, the absurd amount of jet fuel used probably contributes a weeks worth of carbon emissions, and you might be in danger. One final issue is that the plane flies INTO FIREWORKS at the end but we were close to the hanger so... TLDR this is a dangerous flight that probably has to collaborate with Disney or something to avoid the legal fees and property damage I probably need to clarify that this review was made in jest and is not to be taken seriously

Yelp
Ever since it first landed in Epcot, Soarin' has been one of the most popular attractions in the park. It's not really surprising to me - Epcot has the least "thrill" rides out of the four parks so you can imagine people flocked to it as soon as it opened. I've ridden Soarin' multiple times and really agree with the the majority - it's one of Epcot's strongest attractions and shouldn't be missed. Soarin' arrived at Epcot in 2005 during the Happiest Celebration on Earth - a time when WDW was adding attractions from other Disney parks around the world. The ride replaced an animatronic stage show called Food Rocks, and also coincided with a major refresh of The Land pavilion as a whole. Soarin' originated at the Disneyland Resort, and initially depicted hang gliding over California but has since been refreshed to show scenes from around the world. This is done via a massive projection screen which takes up pretty much your entire field of vision. In both incarnations, you were taken to beaches, mountains, forests, and cities - with the final scene being Disneyland (in its original form) and Epcot (in its current form). The scenes were augmented by scents being sprayed throughout the room and the hang glider slightly swaying based on the scene you're in. My only critique of Soarin' is as the attraction ages, you can see imperfections on the projection screen - it kind of takes a way from the whole experience. FastPasses are ideal since this is a super popular attraction, but it's well worth it. If you have a fear of heights this may not be the right ride for you, but if you're okay with that then I totally recommend Soarin'.

Yelp
This ride is always a good time! Pro tip try to snag a seat in B and row 1 I feel that's the best view/experience.

Yelp
Soarin' is one of those key rides that everyone knows and seemingly loves. Is it a thrill ride? Not really, but an overall enjoyable ride none-the-less. The biggest tips I could provide about this ride is to either get a fast pass for it or ride it closer to the end of the night when most of the park attendees have left. The wait times can be rather long, so make it work for you. If you've never ridden the ride before, basically Soarin' takes you across the globe, literally lifting you into the sky while you're immersed in various countries visually. Oh, and the coolest part to me are the scents. Depending on the scene you'll smell grass and other things which is so cool to me. Like most rides, I don't think it is that long, but dangling mid-air through the world is fun. The end is the scariest part and it brings you back down to "Earth" backwards and can be a little jarring. Overall it's a fun ride. It's good for kids of all ages.

Yelp
Soarin' is a flight motion simulator but it is so much more than that!! It is a beautiful sensory ride and one of my favorites. Get a fast pass if you can! We could not get one, so our wait was about 40-45 minutes and we went mid-to-late morning. The ride is inside "The Land" pavilion. The pavilion is between The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Journey into Imagination with Figment. The ride is on the first floor of the pavilion and can be a little tough to find. The queue does provide some entertainment with a trivia game you can play while waiting in line. But it is a long and winding queue with not much to see. The theme of the ride is hand gliding throughout the world. However, you aren't hand gliding but seat gliding. You strap into your row, put your belongings under your seat, and once the ride starts - you get lifted into the air and come face-to-face with an 80-foot IMAX projection dome. You forget you are on a ride at Disney and become fully immersed in the scenes. You visit landscapes such as the Swiss Alps, Greenland, the Great Wall of China, and more! The scenes are stunning. Not only is the ride visually appealing but you are hit with winds, sounds, and smells depending on where you are in the world. The journey takes you back to Epcot and concludes with a firework show. I would not consider this ride a thrill ride but it such a stunning and unique ride experience that you have to check out!
