Yelp
Just spent two nights at Soaring Eagle Lodge. The positive reviews are completely accurate. Not sure where things went of the rails with the one star review but based on my experience, the only type of service offered at Soaring Eagle Lodge is EXCELLENT SERVICE AND GREAT VALUE!
The room was very cozy...much better than anticipated. The bathroom is spacious with lots of towels and an abundance of hot water, which is important to me as my recent Marriott hotel stays have resulted in like warm showers.
Full size refrigerator. Microwave. Sink. Cups. Plates. Dishes. Utensils. Paper towels. Dish cloths. Ground coffee. Coffee pot. Ice in ice maker. Sugar, etc. Large TV. Two great old style recliners. Ceiling fan. View of the river.
Food was very good. Staff could not have been nicer, more attentive, or more professional.
It was a pleasure talking with the various staff members as well as Jeff, the Owner.
Our guide, Jeremiah, was in step with the staff at the lodge, offering unparalleled service. He, as did all of the folks at the lodge, "knocked it out of the park". I have little to no experience fly fishing, and Jeremiah could not have been more attentive, patient, helpful, and fun. Truly, he's a fantastic guide offering an incredibly Hugh level of service.
I'm ready to go back!
And...GEAR. If you think you might need some gear and want to get it before you arrive at the Lodge, call and see if they have what you need. You can buy it from the Lodge at a good price and can get quality gear. They have an incredibly well stocked shop including clothing, jackets, glasses, gloves, waders, etc.
