Location, Location, location. But not only that. Dejan is a great host. Breakfast provided, clean rooms, good selection of TV channels and most of all the location in the heart of Julian Alps. We climbed Ciprnik (wife and me) on the second day of being there. We will come back to try to climb Prisank.

Absolutely fantastic place! Beautiful views and great service/hospitality from the host. Very cheap and the rooms are spotless along with the rest of the hostel. Cant recommend enough!!

This is once again a place with extremely friendly and helpful staff that helps you with practically everything. Need to know how the weather will really be like? Ask them. Need advice on which mountain to go to with your family? Ask them and they will not only suggest a place but also check by phone if the place is open and serves meals for you. The rooms are cozy and more or less what you would expect from a hostel - good beds, nice bathroom. The breakfast is filling and varied - bread, jams, meats, eggs, fruits and so on. Enough parking space for all the guests and you can also store your bikes. The only downside to the location that we discovered (though not exactly the hostels fault) is that there are no decent places to eat in the whole vicinity of the lake. There is one decent burger place and a completely useless (in our experience) "fancy" restaurant Milka. But luckily you can fix that by going to the city centre which is about 10-15 minutes walk away.

We arrived late due to a traffic jam, but the host was super friendly, and managed to arange the check-in nevertheless. The rooms offer excellent value for money, and breakfast gets you started for a nice day of hiking in the surrounding Alps.

Situated in the most beautiful, peaceful part of Kranjska Gora, over the lake Jasna and in the forest, this small hotel will surprise you. Cozy, very clean and with a very good breakfast. Run by Sandra and her husband who pay attention to each detail and do their best to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We spent 10 days at Hotel Barovc and will surely come back here.

I did not actually stay here, due to some issue with communication in booking. Keep in mind if booking on their website, that you must pay 30% up front to secure booking. Upon arrival here, believing I had booked a room, the clerk there helped us find another room close-by with similar amenities amd breakfast as well which was super. So I am giving them 5 stars for outstanding service!

everything was fantastic, the owners very nice and helpful, the breakfast delicious, the surroundings and the views beautiful. I highly recommend this place :)
