This is more of a hostel/hotel hybrid. Not fully a hostel, not fully a hotel. I really liked it. It feels kinda corporate, but the grounds are beautiful and the 4 person dormitory was REALLY nice. Spacious room, huge bathrooms. It is much nicer than the Antigua location of this chain. The only thing that really sucked is there is no kitchen or even a kitchenette for guests. I get that they want you to order from the onsite restaurant but it would be nice to have access to the basics - a fridge, microwave, and sink. For example, I stayed for 4 days but never was able to wash my reusable water bottle so I had a dirty water bottle the whole time. I couldn't have a simple pleasure like enjoying my favorite tea at night. There was no freezer to get ice for my injury (you have to ask the bartenders every single time for everything). Also many guests go from hostel to hostel - I had a ton of refrigerated food from my last hostel, and I had to throw everything away when I arrived. It felt like a waste. So overall - nice place. But please make a small kitchen for guests.
