Socialtel Córdoba (Former Selina)

I recently stayed at Socialtel Nueva Córdoba and had a fantastic experience. The hostel boasts a vibrant atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The bar and terrace are great spots to unwind, offering nightly entertainment and a chance to mingle with fellow travelers. Its central location is ideal, placing you within walking distance of numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the pool area provides a refreshing escape. While the elevator was occasionally out of service and the kitchen was under renovation during my stay, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise excellent visit. We got catfished by this hotel, thinking we booked Selina but it’s now another chain and the photos you see here are 5 years old and NOTHING what the hotel looks like in 2025. Surely it was once a nice and trendy hotel, now everything is old, worn out, and in generally poor shape. Stains in the sheets that did not fit the bed properly, a lot of water damage in the bathroom and furniture and an old, gross shower curtain(?!). The pool was unclean, and no sunbeds available. The staff was friendly but also a bit odd; told us - with our booking in front of them - that we did not have breakfast while we did, told us to “ask Google” when we asked about laundry service or any laundromat in the area. Subsequently we’ve decided to cancel our 3 nights at the sister venue in Salta. Very, very disappointing.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were good vibes and laid back and approachable which made the atmosphere cool! Shout out to Zoe, Virginia and Paula. The yoga room / library is a really chill space and the location is central and close to parks! Christian.

I appreciated the hospitality, but the thing I liked the most was the great facilities and accommodations at this beautiful location. Selina is great at creating an atmosphere, especially in the garden, at the pool, where they serve food and bring drinks as you listen to live music, which they host 4 days a week.|The staff is friendly and the guests are nice, it’s on a whole different level in this world full of wonders.

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed in my life 🤍 the rooms were great, the kitchen, shared areas, and there’s also a bar, cafe and a pool! The staff was amazing, became family 🥰

Of all Selinas I have stayed this one is not bad nor excellent. Some maintenace issues here and there in the rooms and some common areas. Pool area is nice although located on the ground floor. The bar and club is cool. You have to take into account that the property is located next to a busy nightclub so in some rooms you can hear music during the night hours. Location is the best part of this hostel.

This hostel is part of a chain and not independently owned and it's noticeable. The people that work here are at their dayjob and don't go the extra mile. We even found that there was a "great deal, just opened up" but when we pulled out cash (instead of card) he was unsure whether he could still find this offer... -_- The breakfast is good, but run by the bar downstairs, the shop on ground level there is also run externally, so the receptionist can't answer questions about either. The room is quite nice, we had a private. Bathroom there wasn't super clean, but the room was good and had AC which was very welcome on the hot days we were there. The elevator is working badly and broke down when we were there which seemed to be a regular thing. Luckily we already had our bags up (7th floor). Location is 10/10
