Saw some great reviews and figured would come and try it out. The beer draft machine was broken so we settled for bottled beer. Which was ok.The food was also ok. Bu the service was awesome!! We had a server who had just hired on and she made our visit worth it!

I am a avid beer drinker and I love tying new beers. I stopped into here because its sign said there was a brewery. Sadly, however, they do not brew beer anymore. It is still a nice place to come grab a beer and some food. For how small socorro is, they have a pretty decent beer selection. The food is pretty good also. They have happy hour from 4-6 min-thurs as well as various other deals during the week. See the attached photos. I ended up going here twice in the 5 days I was in town. It was very convenient for me to walk to as my hotel was right next door. I would recommend if you are in town, stopping by and having a drink.

I read most of the reviews about this place, and caught my attention the reviews about the owner and his son. So yep I didn't had the same experience. The owner himself and his son help me with my food and drinks, no cocky just proud of his kitchen and workers( defending his employees👍🤘)don't blame him. GREAT FOOD, this will definitely be a place to stop by again. RECOMMEND

Tried the Alfredo pizza. Awesome. The pesto pasta was good. Enjoyed our time.. Good place for drinks and food as we stopped through the town.

I stop here quite a bit during the winter as I'm in the area hunting. The food is great as well as the beer. During busy times the service can be a bit slower due to understaffed, but that's to be expected at a great restaurant in New Mexico (finding good employees is difficult).

Google
Despite the signs outside, this is not a brewery. Service is slow and disjointed. Lots of unhappy faces among patrons, of whom there are few. The food is bland at best.

Good eats in small town New Mexico. Stopped by on our way back from the VLA - a pleasant surprise! We ate vegetarian while we were there: a mushroom pizza and chips and salsa. Good beer selection for local brews. The staff and owner are very courteous and friendly. Very chill atmosphere. Would recommend!

Like other reviewers, I stopped to drink the homemade beer and discovered that, in spite of the large sign in front that states the place is a brewery with award winning beers, that they no longer brew beer. To make matters worse, the microbrews they do sell are only four beers on tap. Not to mention, $7 for one of these was overpriced. I had the pesto pasta which wasn't bad. They did charge us for salsa and chips which is free in most restaurants in New Mexico. I used to love to stop into Socorro Springs (before the pandemic) and it is sad to see how it has all gone downhill since then. The place used to be crowded, aesthetically pleasing, and sold excellent home brews. But, this is no longer the case. The place is now run down and sad. Apparently, it has been sold, and if you read the two responses from the new owner, it is even more obvious why you should avoid this place. He claims it is too expensive to change the sign which implies the food is unsafe as well. Note the two pictures I have posted. The sign in front is a "bait and switch." NOTE THAT THIS PLACE IS NO LONGER A BREW PUB. The few beers they do sell hardly make up for their "bait and switch." I have contacted the Socoro Chamber of Commerce and have alerted their Office of Tourism in the hopes the can shut down this scammer. I see that there are two new places on the Socorro Plaza which I plan to try next.

Yelp
Can I do zero? Their yelp listing said they were open on Sunday. They were not! We passed on Lunch in Truth or Consequences to dine here. Drove an extra hour, got off the highway, found this place and a closed sign. We weren't the only disappointed folks turning around in the parking lot! I don't know how hard it is for yelp businesses to keep their listings up to date but how difficult can it be? If I were a business owner I would hate to get a bad review from someone who never had a chance to step inside my business! We ended up at burger king. They said they were open and they were.'Wow!!! What a concept! P.S. to add insult to injury about 10 minutes after we got back on the highway I got a note from yelp asking me to help this business by posting pictures of their food. I would have been happy to do that if we have had any!

Yelp
Upon arrival in Socorro, we found ourselves in need of some sustenance and a cold brew. A quick search led us to Socorro Springs Restaurant. PROs: ++ I opted for the Hawaiian pizza, and it was delicious! ++ They have a pretty decent craft beer selection. My husband sipped on the Elevated IPA from Le Cumbre Brewing Company and I chose the Hazy IPA from Santa Fe Brewing Company. ++ They have three separate seating areas: bar, dinning room, and patio. So depending on your mood, you can pick accordingly. CONs: -- Service was slow. Once we were seated, we waited for an extended period of time before receiving any kind of acknowledgment from the wait staff. -- Despite listing sandwiches on the menu, when my husband ordered one he was told they don't have them. -- The craft beer menu is posted on a chalk board near the host station. It's rather low, thus it would be hard to read if the dinning area was full. -- Sounds like they have been having some staffing issues, so the hours are limited to 4 pm to 8 pm Monday through Friday. They seem to update their Facebook page with additional closures. Socorro Springs Restaurant made for an A-OK dinner during our stay in Socorro, NM. **Pro Tip: Despite what Google says, they do NOT brew beer here or serve liquor. They DO however have a decent selection of craft brews and wine.

Yelp
Went into the restaurant with a group of 7 ( 3 adults 2 teens and 2 younger children). We were greated by the owner saying we couldn't be served because of our group size and wouldn't he be able to manage take out orders. They looked not busy and only one table was occupied in the whole restaurant and it was a group of 3. Once we were declined service one of our members replied rightfully annoyed "ok that's fine we just won't eat here again". He comes out of a side door as we walked out and said " You know you don't have to be such a f*cking b*tch about it" to our group in front of young children. We told him he didn't have to use that language in front of our kids and he slammed the door in our face. Another thing to note is this restaurant would only take cash. I feel like for a business owner this is very unprofessional and immature. He verbally accosted us in front of young ears right after refusing us service. Would not recommend going especially in groups with kids.

Yelp
Stopped here on a drive back to Albuquerque. The front line staff was very nice and helpful. They had several cooks in training. The owner was incredibly rude to his staff, impatient, and talked down to them. His arrogant and jerk mentality made for an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout the restaurant with even the servers apologizing. If anyone needs an apology it's the workers for having to put up with that harassing owner.

Yelp
Sigh. I think this town is going through staffing shortages and hardship like everywhere else, so I want to say a lot of our experience was out of the control of the restaurant. First, they do not have an alcohol license anymore so there is no wine or beer. The wait was quite long with only a few places to sit and wait. One of the servers was clearly very stressed and after we were seated very nice, but extremely short and a little rude to any waiting parties. The food was fine? The pizza crust was thin with no chewiness or give, and the toppings tasted ok. The feta on our pizza was the most flavorful part. They do have some good options for vegetarian toppings. They also seated us in the back despite there being plenty of room in the front - the back was freezing and the smoke alarm battery kept going off. I think the servers and cook staff are trying their best with very limited resources, but I sadly would not recommend here if you are expecting the experience from years prior.

Yelp
I came in on a Friday night with a group of friends. We were hankering for pizza and SSR filled the bill in spades. The special tonight was the green Chili chicken pizza. 40% of our table chowed on the special and they appeared quite content. I had the Tomato Del Sol pie and another comrade picked the bbq chicken pizza. All looked good and tasted great. It's hard to beat a wood fired pizza. Plenty of great beers on tap. Our group tried several and found the selection quite good.

Yelp
Last day in Socorro decided to stop on. Imho it's a made to order pizza place that also serves various brews and other menu items Took me awhile what to order, but James-my server- was both patient and helpful. Let me try a beer (no bueno) so went with old standard Suggested the white chicken pizza add green chili, so I got it it. It was good. Not a pizza connoisseur I can only say it's better than a "dominoes or lil caesars" but I can't honestly compare it to other wood grilled pizza places Glad it's an option here "in the middle of nowhere" so no complaints. Also ordered a side salad; chicken was grilled but in the cool side of luckwarm. Otherwise I liked all the "stuff" on the salad Service was great-attentive-timely-patient. Thank you I'd likely return

Yelp
Permanently Closed. This is now the location of La Pasadena Mexican Restaurant, which is a much better place to eat. Authentic! Really glad they moved in to this building.

Yelp
My family of 9 (7 adults and 2 kids) drove to this restaurant tonight very excited to try as It is the newest restaurant in town and we were refused service. One of the waitresses walked up to the hostess, and did not realize that I was watching her, but she mouthed to the hostess "He's not going to take them" speaking about the "manager" we met when walked in. He came back and said he's not sure how long it'll be because the only large table is occupied and he can't push tables together. So we asked if we could just sit at two separate tables and he said no, they're saving those tables for two parties of six. I'm sorry, what?! So instead of making money and earning our praise, you literally refused us service? I have never been more disappointed. I pray that whoever sees this realizes that as a new business in town, your customers (or potential customers) are important and that it's not acceptable to treat patrons this way.

Marcie C.

Yelp
Horrible rude owner who is unhinged!!!! BEWARE!!! We were in town for the science fair and stopped in to eat. Upon entering, there were signs everywhere about no credit cards only cash. We had a group of 3 moms, and 4 kids. The guy who came up to greet us said he was the owner and immediately said he didn't want to serve us because our group was too big. He said he had to go orders to work on. As we were leaving he popped out of the side door and yelled at me, "thanks for being a f*cking b*tch!" In front of my 6 year old daughter. Apparently, I offended his fragile male ego. Don't go there. Ever.

Yelp
A small group of us came here travelling through to Ruidoso. We ordered one pasta dish and 3 pizzas. This took 1hr &25 min, it was not busy. They lost our ticket and never told us about this until I inquired what the remaing wait time would be as it had been over an hour. The chicken Alfredo pasta came out extremely watery and when we asked about it the owner stated that it is made fresh and it being watery is normal. The pizzas were good not great. We could hear the owners loud voice carrying over from the kitchen complaining that we sent the order back. We then proceeded to gear him scold his cooks and waitresses for various things. He will get away with this behavior most likely because of the limited options in this great city but I would not come here thinking you will have a great meal. If you are looking for a cold beer I would say yes, drop in. I'm all for supporting local but when the owner is disrespectful it's hard to give a fair critique. The chili fries were the only real dish they had that was pretty good. See my attached photo.

Yelp
MISLEADING!!! The sign out front advertising, Woodfire, pizza steaks and seafood....doesn't happen there. When asked about it when we were handed a small menu, the waiter told as well. We have it changed our sign yet. That should've been assigned to get up and walk out.. The pizza was mediocre the sausage on top if that's what you could call it, was horrible. The meat lasagna well again that mystery meat was the only meat on the top layer. The rest of it was fit for a vegetarian. The Reuben sandwich there was far too much sauerkraut, not enough meat and the pasta salad combo well again noodles with a little bit of cheese. The only good thing was the cheese bread that was phenomenal. Now onto the drinks sorry we are out of Pepsi at this time not that I'm a Pepsi drinker, and no tea products in the house opted for lemonade well, that was water with a shot of lemon, I suppose. Very disappointed will not be eating there again. Definitely not worth the $111

Yelp
Delicious options. This was my second time here and I've loved it both times. Great menu options and good service. The insurance agent in me couldn't help but notice the ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Other than that this seems to be the popular place in town to come dine or have an adult beverage. Cheers!

Yelp
Smiling is so underrated, even if it's a fake smile. All that matters is how that smile (real or fake) makes me feel. When the waiter at Socorro Springs smiled, it felt real to me. It felt so real that I gave him a real smile back. Imagine if people never learned how to fake smile. The restaurant industry would crumble, waiters wouldn't be getting any tips. Employees would be getting fired left and right if they couldn't fake smile or laugh at their boss' stupid jokes. How could you trick your parents-in-law that you're excited to see them without a fake smile? Our society as a whole would collapse! There should be classes in school teaching kids how to properly fake smile. A fake smile can take you a long way in this life. A fake smile probably has more value than a real smile. Fake smiles are reliable and can be used anytime. Real smiles are all dependent on how you're feeling. I don't want to rely on my feelings to do what's socially expected of me at a specific time. That would be like if I could only donate to charity if I genuinely cared about the cause. Charities wouldn't get any money if people couldn't donate to make themselves feel like a better person. Regardless of why the money was donated, it's still real to the charities that receive it. Anyways, the food was incredible here and the smiles were even better.

Yelp
My son and I came here just to get the desert. I would highly recommend this fried cheesecake what's your choice syrup on it. We had the raspberry syrup. My son really liked the fried cheesecake. It was not overly sweet. If you come here I recommend this dessert. Very friendly and helpful service.

Yelp
We came to Socorro to take care of our father's estate and had a very hard long emotional day. My son said mom this place looks fun and they are a brewery so y'all can have a drink. When we was deciding to eat here we looked to see what time the place closed. We never want to go in on a restaurant trying to close because we know you are ready to go home. It says on Yelp that they close at 830pm. It was 700 when we arrived. I told the server there was 6 and a baby. Then she rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath. She then set us at a table. I asked if they had mixed drinks and she said no beer and wine. Then she proceeded to tell me the tap was frozen up. So I was thinking domestic beers only. I tried to order michalob ultra. She then told me all they had was what was on the wall. So I order one and my brother ordered another kind. He likes different kinds of beers so tried to order a different kind and of course they was out of it. The then rude waitress at 730 told us "just so you know this is going to be last call". She wasn't even nice about it. It was like we was a problem from the beginning. We did get green chili fries and that was good. We also got chips and salsa that was nothing to write home about. We haven't even got our food yet. I also observed the owner refuse a large table that tried to come in after us. Being in the same kind of business myself I got aggravated that we couldn't even enjoy our meal and have a beer. I told her that if she worked for me and treated my customers like that she would be fired. Just a simple fact. Of course my family told me I should have waited until we got our food to say something so they didn't mess with it. The owner then comes to our table and tells me I have no right telling the server she was rude. They was tired and ready to go home. I told him that we was under the impression that they closed at 830 and we had plenty of time to eat and enjoy our meal. He then was also rude so I told him that I see why his restaurant was for sale. He told us to leave and never come back. That his family has been in the business for 24 years. I have been in the industry for 36 years and never have I ever been kicked out of a restaurant nor treated good paying customers this way. I'm blown away. In Texas this behavior is unacceptable. We ending up going just down the street to a little place the street where we also seen the other 9 people they turned away. They was amazing the food and service both was amazing and we was able to have a drink. The waitress there Barbie got a really nice tip. I pride myself in being nice, and respectful to all food service workers because I understand what they put up with and I always tip well. This place has no customer service skills at all. Please don't move to Texas when you sale your restaurant.

Yelp
We enjoyed generous lunch portions, and felt very confident that they exceeded COVID safety precautions. The entire reataurant looked very clean, they took my name and phone number at checkin for contact tracing purposes, and after we left I observed the staff wiping down the outdoor chairs we sat in. The most memorable part of the dining experience was how incredibly formal, polite and professional the hostess/waitress was. She could have been working at a much higher-end establishment and fit in perfectly. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Yelp
Bored of the Flies. Every time we visit this place we REALLY want to like it, but every time it fails. The service is consistently crappy, and now with patio-only dining the environment also leaves us wanting. We twice had to ask staff to turn off the misting system when it was 80 degrees and overcast, but worst of all were the insane abundance of flies on the patio. They attacked us and our plates - even our beer! The staff apologized but seemed incapable and incompetent to improve the situation. Repeated requests of staff to wipe the table and. Lear dirty dishes just made the problem worse.

Yelp
This is a really nice place to have a meal and a drink. We have been here a number of time over the years and always been pleased with our experience. The food is fresh, nicely prepared, delicious and the service is good. They have a patio outside so they are open! Our server recommended the spinach dip so we tried it. It was the best all four of us had ever eaten and the pita bread they served with it was perfectly toasted. Absolutely delicious!, the gyro sandwich was also really good and portions are large. Highly recommend you try this unexpected place located in Socorro.

Yelp
Lovely place to eat, and had wonderful service from Diana K. Great beer selections and really enjoyed our El Fego Pizza with Pepperoni and Green Chile. Next trip I need to try there fried cheesecake! Worth the stop!

Yelp
Change happens. Time passes and not everything stays the same as it once was. For those familiar with the way this business once was, you might be disappointed as to how it just isnt anymore. The beautiful atmosphere is now empty snd echo filled. There's an unfortunate sewage smell customers are greeted with. There is no warmth to the place and the menu is very small. The beautiful wine rack is empty which seems to emphasize the fact that there is less to offer in many areas. The guys in the kitchen worked well together but there were only 4 people in the restaurant mid day. The Elfego pizza and house salad have been constant since way back and it did not disappoint. Other than the 2 cooks, there was a hostess who doubled as a waitress. The cooks and the customers had a difficult time tiptoeing around Miss M. and her sour disposition. While I don't expect red carpet treatment, being made to feel like a burden from the moment we walked in was not fun at all. A long face, muffled speech and forced basic service does not a returning customer make. Wondering if there was even a manger on property. Quite the graveyard. I think I've heard something about new owners. Very understandable. Hope to hear of growth and exciting changes.

Yelp
Very misleading... sign says award winning brewery. We thought place was closed. No cars in the parking lot at 7pm. Upon entry the place looked great . Server seemed very rude. No drink menu , despite them having a bar. The only beer they had was cans and bottles. There was no draft beer or their own beer. Went to order a soda and they said their machine was broken. I ordered a pizza, it was average at best. Was not a Woodfired pizza as advertised. They did not even have a dessert menu. Upon leaving looked at the empty bar and noted not a single beer handle there. Waste of time

Yelp
Had a great time here last night! Primarily hung out at the bar with our awesome bartender Kayla. Happy Hour was extended until closing for Monday Night Football! Highly recommend the smoked wings...get them naked with the sauce on the side! The 1554 Black Lager was awesome...like a lighter Guinness. Will definitely be back here!

Yelp
Great wood fire pizza and a dark ale on tap to die for. All served by friendly staff. If it's any time near eating time get off the interstate and enjoy!

Yelp
Nice to have them back and open when I was in Socorro. Great salad and pasta combo. Perfect lasagna and Caesar salad!!

Yelp
My takeout order took an hour and fifteen minutes after they said it would take 35. I spent forty five minutes at the restaurant waiting for it. I want to be generous during covid but y'all seriously.

Yelp
Heading home sun beaten from "the Butte", we made a stop for a cold one and a snack. I like when breweries offer food and this one had a great menu. My husband would say it's more about the beer. Well the beer was great and they had a good variety for everyone's liking. We shared some salsa and chips.... loaded with garlic and I like that! Not too spicy so it made for a good start. We each had a salad which was fresh and delicious! Dressings are made there so I like that especially! Great atmosphere and timely wait staff! Good stopping point between "the Butte" and Albuquerque!

Yelp
If for some reason you need to be in Socorro, eat here. They are a brewery, but only have a double IPA and a black IPA. However, they do have a selection of beers from Marble and Tractor that are also tasty. The food is great. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich on Saturday night. Delicious! We returned again on Sunday and I had the pasta/salad combo. We also tried the chili cheese fries and loved them. They make the fries extra crispy, so you're not eating a soggy mess. We also had pets in tow and did not want to leave them in a warm car on Sunday afternoon. The staff seated us on the patio and even brought out water for the pups. Thank you!

Yelp

Yelp
Don't waste your time or money stopping here. After a long week camping out at the lake my family and I stopped here for some much needed food and air conditioning on our way back home. We waited to be seated for over 5 mins while a hostess pushed 3 tables together and everyone else who worked there stood around and stared at us. We asked 2 times if they were getting a table for us and the other hostess on duty said she was working on it. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant at the time and workers standing around aimlessly. We finally get seated and it takes a good 5-10 mins to even get drinks. Our appetizers came out fairly quickly but we waited for an hour to get our dinner. The kids pizzas came out burned and they totally forgot my sister in laws food. My husband attempted to speak with a manager but she was talking on her cell phone and completely ignored us. As an ex server I am used to the curse of bad service and am usually very understanding and patient but there was no excuse for how we were treated. Hopefully this review will save other people from wasting their hard earned money on such a poor establishment.

Yelp
Slow, slow, slow service for at best mediocre food. Traveling for conference, not much to choose from. I ordered penne pasta that looked like out of a box & salad with chicken. $21 for below par food. Will not return this week or ever if back in the area. Watched x3 tables with x4 guest seated at each, get up & walk out- not one of them was ever waited on. Don't waste your time or money.

Yelp
Bummer...Partner and I have eaten at Socorro Springs several times in the past. Always had good to outstanding food and service. Not this time. We arrived at 5 PM on Friday, before a concert. Not very busy. Our server took our orders and brought water. I ordered my favorite calzone-The Conquistador, and salad. Partner got Southwest Cubano Sandwich with fries. The salad and fries were good. The calzone was kinda black on top. I don't know if this is their way of doing it now or if it got left in the oven too long? This was not to be the worst problem. I ate less than half, as the prosciutto was unbelievably salty. Partner's sandwich, while perfectly grilled, was also overwhelming salty. We needed refills on water. Refills were offered when we received our check.

Yelp
My husband and I have been here a couple times and all in all it's a gluten free option in Socorro. I wouldn't rave about this restaurant to anyone if I'm being honest. They serve decent pizzas and I am actually a fan of their chicken wings. I've recently discovered I have celiac disease which makes me take a much different lens to the places we frequent. Their house made pizza crust is pretty dang delicious if I'm being honest, but the frozen Udis crust is a far cry from their crust. However, I appreciate that they even try as many places in or around Socorro genuinely lack in gluten free options. If they didn't have gluten free options I think I would only rate Socorro springs two stars. For at least putting in the effort and producing something edible I give them three stars. It's okay, but nothing to write home about.

Yelp
New ownership does not have a very good sense for business. We stopped by this " brewery" which is not allowed to serve alcohol at this time by a recommendation of our family which ranches in area for over 60 years. Used to be great ace so we ordered a few pizzas and spinach salat, supposed to come with almonds and strawberries , non which were on the plate. We were starving after a four hour morning drive and told our very sweet waitress after she brought full price check, to please adjust price for spinach salad as it really was just plain spinach leafes. The manager deducted 20%, which was in my opinion a little disappointing. We will not return and will tell our family. Manager never showed either. Not a good start when you build a new business.

Yelp
This would have been 1 star, but the beer was good. Pizza: soggy crust, tasteless sauce. Grilled chicken salad: the chicken was not grilled (but dry), the dressing a lumpy mass of pesto in vinegar, the artichokes that were supposed to be in there MIA. My wife's soup: cold. How can a place that advertises wood-fired pizza bring out slices of limp, pale dough? My companions declared this the worst pizza they've had in their lifetime. Well, at least the beer was good.

Yelp
This place has much appeal as you walk in and are taken back in time. The look and decor is amazing. The food was good. The burgers were huge. The service was great until the very end. I was there with a girlfriend and our kids and the waiter told us that there would be gratuity added to the check due to the size of our group. Understandable. I have never seen more than 15% added 18% at very most We got separate checks to find out we had both been charged a 20% gratuity fee. This waiter was trying to get a 40% tip. When I brought it to their attention and asked for him to change it he treated us horrible after. Dishonesty is enough to turn me away from an establishment.

Yelp
Awesome. Owners wanted to close early but about 20 firefighters showed up and they let them in and stayed open later than they had to to help them out. The owners came out and thanked everyone for service. Pizza was awesome. Cheesesteak was awesome. Definitely grateful for places like this.

Yelp
Twice I've gotten the "margherita classica" pizza. Once was on the way back from a "field trip" for work (the smaller 9" pizza for $7.99), the other during a conference (the 11" regular size). Basil, mozzarella, roma tomatoes, and a marinara sauce. It was the way the flavors meshed together and the kiss from the wood-fired oven that made me want to go back the second time. It was a welcome refuge on a nice, hot day. But. I don't know if it was the greasiness of the pizza the second time around that led to a stomachache and sadly, I tossed the rest of the leftover pizza in the trash when I got home before I had a chance to find out for a second time if that was the cause of it

Yelp
Very unimpressed with my experience here from the service to the pizza. Absolutely nothing special at all here. The pizza tasted like a generic frozen pizza over done on one side and burnt on the other. The salad and beer were good. The bartender annoyed me by asking for ID for a beer when I am clearly well over 21, seriously, don't insult me after a long day of work. This is another small ton restaurant that is a good idea but the employees run it into the ground.

Yelp
While Socorro does not have a lot of choices for places to eat this would be considered one of their better places. The choices on the menu are good and offers a variety of items to eat. Service is not that great they tend to be slow and not very attentive. When we were there we got ignored and didn't really care about our table.

Yelp
Maybe I missed something. Let's see: It wasn't during noon lunch rush. It was during happy hour. So I get there to try to take some of their "award winning beer" back to Texas with me and there is noone there to greet us. The place was open alright-I mean, there were people there eating but noone was at the front. So we waited....and waited..and waited. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, a guy shows up and asks us if we need a table. I tell him I just want to see the to go menu and wanted to see if they had any growlers or sold any of their beer in 6 packs. To my surprise, the says they do not. Really? If that's your calling card, you don't even sell it to the masses? Well, needless to say, I was disappointed after the first 2 strikes and wasn't about to swing at a third when it came to their food. So my 8 year old and I left...we got better service at Taco Bell.

Yelp
The restaurant is attractive and the bar seems to be busy. L and I shared a wood fired El Bandito pizza topped with pepperoni, Canino's spicy Italian sausage, mozzarella, a house made marinara sauce, and a choice of pickled jalapenos or green chili was good. However, with the exception of the chilies it was a pretty standard pizza with a good crust. L and K tried some of the beer and told me it was just okay

Yelp
I ate here twice in one week. Both times, the wait staff seemed overwhelmed. I am not sure if they are understaffed or just poorly trained. Both times, my food was cold. They don't have a microwave so they have to put it back in the oven, which dries it out and then there's no guarantee that the wait staff will get the food to you in a timely manner. Tonight, my food sat on the counter near the cook for 10 min while my server was busy getting other people water. Several servers walked by my food and ignored it. This place should have bus staff serve water and teach the servers to prioritize getting food to customers. I have learned my lesson. It's tough to find a good meal in Socorro, but you can do better. I think Socorro Springs Restaurant is overrated.

Yelp
Good place for having dinner in Socorro, NM. I had a "new Mexico garden" vegetarian sandwich pretty good. Large choice of local beers.

Yelp
Great place for pizza! Stopped here for lunch on our way to southern New Mexico. The staff were friendly and helpful. My husband and I ordered a full house salad. You could also order a half size house salad, but we ordered a full size and split it. This was not the usual iceberg lettuce with a tomato slice house salad. The salad contained lettuce, field greens and spinach, cheese and a generous amount of sliced tomatoes. We also ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. At 11 inches, it was the perfect size to split for lunch. The pizza was delicious! The crust was perfectly baked. It was tender and not quite thin crust but not thick crust either. The toppings were delicious - as good as CPK's version of BBQ chicken pizza. Because the pizza was just 11", we had no leftovers, but since we were traveling that was fine with us. Although the salad and pizza fed us just fine at lunch, people with hardier appetites may need a bit more at dinner. Overall, this restaurant was a nice surprise in a small town. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Yelp
Been there 4 times, the last time it was honestly because the Bistro was closed on sundays. The first time I was there I ordered the roasted garlic alfredo. and it was one of the most boring dishes that i have ever gotten in a restaurant. it was white pasta, white sauce, white bowl, untoasted piece of white bread... i sent it back went back other times and got their pizzas or calzones... MUCH BETTER if you go i recommend the pasta oh and my frien d got the black bean taco and he said its delish.. keep in mind its like a nacho salad not a taco the beer is good, but over rated the service is also hit or miss, but generally pretty good
