Great spot for a coffee, pastry or breakfast. I like their Jersey Girl sandwich: yummy sunnyside egg on an English muffin. The secret ingredient is Kimchi! Gives it a juicy tangy flavor. New owners brought back indoor seating and there’s plenty of outdoor seating and picnic tables. Coffee is great. We also tried the Napa-gato. Soft serve with espresso- that’s a good combo for an afternoon pick me up ( post wine tasting!)

We had the privilege of being greeted and welcomed by one the owners. What a sincere, gracious person! We had a delicious sandwich, made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, for our lunch. We wish we lived in the area, so we could come more often!

I have always loved Soda Canyon Store and now with new owners and updated look I am so excited for the future of this place! Got their Beyond Burger and Pastrami Melt both were amazing! I also recommended their new soft serve, it was sooo creamy and will be the perfect treat this summer!

The Clean Burn Company employees and I always pick up Lunch here whenever we’re working in the area. The Veggie Sandwich with the addition of Avocado is a combination you have to experience! The red sauce or aoili that is added in the sandwich is absolutely delicious 🤤 Thank you Soda Canyon Store for the consistency in Quality Deli Sandwiches 💯

Love their Patty Melt. Choice of a simple Mexican meal, multiple sandwiches, and an assortment of condiments like potato salad or greens. There is a sandwich of the day. Chicken Soup always seems to be on the menu. Hot or cold coffee can be found and ordered at the cashier's area. The self dispensed soda machine is now history. Only pre-bottled soda is available from the refrigerated section.

So delicious and such great service. I especially loved the house made chipotle crema and the artichoke hummus.

I always patronized Mom and Pop stores and restaurants. And its not just the food, its also the hospitality of the people. I tried the Firehouse Sandwich and Chicken Noodle soup and it is awesome!

My second visit since ownership changed back in May 2023. We swung by for breakfast on our way to Jarvis. The menu is interesting, with a definite latin twist and the store has been updated to include gifts and wine. You now order in front and the old wall menus behind the counter are covered. The staff was friendly and helpful and we ate outside standing up as the morning rain had soaked everything (yay for rain tho) My chourizo and egg sandwich was delicious, and the bread quite unusual. Previous visit for lunch and the turkey sandwich was also delicious! Definitely a solid spot on Silverado Trail (only spot too!)

Sad to find the Soda Canyon Store is closed and emptied out. Tried to call but rang and rang without voicemail picking up. We came for their breakfast burritos and must leave with bellies still grumbling. Anyone know the story?? UPDATE: I just learned that they lost their one year lease due to an extreme rent increase which was not sustainable. So sad what is happening these days. We wish you the best of luck.

As I was driving from St. Helena, the cozy local vibes and beautiful redish color attached me to pull over. Upon walking in to sofa canyon I was warmly greeted with care and enthusiasm by owner and operator; MeeSun! Not only is she a boss woman, but she knows every nook and cranny about her products and her store is showered with the best local products from handmade soaps to veteran made hot sauces! Are you hungry?! - wait no longer for class-A deli made food to order and if you are in a rush, the grab and go order will suit you... need it custom made?! No problem we'll do that for ya. From hard to find soda bottles to synergy Kombicha, sounds canyon has you're favorite drinks. Local yummies are offered for dessert as well as coffee from Mr. Espresso!! Cmon now! My homemade Caesar salad: Fresh bed of romain that was crunchy and delightful, accompanied by fresh shaved Parmesan, and topped with hand-cut croutons and a perfect portion of homemade Caesar dressing! Are you drooling now? We'll come over... Now.. what to get for dessert?!

Cute spot for sandwiches. The roast beef sandwich was great - the carmalized onions made it! I wish I realized that if I did a DIY sandwich, it would be made fresh vs my menu pick which was pre made. Still delicious nevertheless!

SUPER disappointed with their "customer service" during my recent trip to this place. I ordered a COLD tuna salad sandwich and I emphasize "cold" because I didn't want them to think I wanted their hot tuna melt. However, they ended up giving me a chicken salad sandwich. I am non confrontational so I very nicely and politely told them about the error and they seemed cool with making me the correct sandwich. I offered to give them the other one back and/or to pay for the new one and they declined. When they gave me the new sandwich, it was noticeably smaller and lighter than the other two I had but I didn't question it and STUPIDLY tipped them $15 in cash and left. So I essentially paid for the replacement sandwich. When I finally got around to opening the sandwiches with my friends, we were shocked to see that they had given me a stingy slab of tuna salad on two pieces of dry bread with no lettuce, tomato or the sprouts I had specifically asked for. I even was asked to confirm if I wanted sprouts, which I did. In my attached picture, you can see the original chicken salad sandwich that has all the veggies and is a nice healthy size and then you can see the dry tuna sandwich they gave me as the replacement. Such a shame that they treated this situation like this, I have never experienced such a blatant example of disrespecting the customer, esp when they made the error and I was more than understanding about it. Such a shame too since my friends are Napa locals and will most definitely never patronize this place again. Big huge thumbs down, thanks for nothing.

This place has changed for the worse. I use to stop in here and they were usually packed. They now have no organization to their service. It's boring with a minimal menu and I went with the turkey club which was awful.

So, I have been to Soda Canyon Store several times as I work down the street, but it consistently lands on the 3 star for a review. While you are limited to what you can grab for food on Silverado Trail, Soda Canyon will fit the bill, but there are some issues. The first being the food is hit or miss, never had consistent orders here. Second issue being this place is packed during lunch, which is due to the fact that there is no other choices nearby, so some days you will be waiting awhile. Third is that it is a tad over priced for the quantity you are getting, again what can you do if it's the only store nearby sadly. I do not mean to put this establishment down, but just wish it was more consistent as it is not terrible by any means. With that said, I will still continue to visit it though since it is so close to my work.

Perfect little oasis in the valley. Also perfect during the week day but on the weekends a little busy. You've got picnic benches and space for a nice lunch. Adirondack chairs or barstools. Whatever your preference outside. Inside there's a coffee shop and a couple comfortable seats and chairs set up to give you the living room feel. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to order a sandwich, just the coffee bar Decent amount of parking on both sides. My only drawback during my visit was the amount of wasps outside that were uninvited guests.

Greet location, staff is extremely friendly, great ambiance. Locally sourced products, all delicious. We get our cheese and charcuterie board from them for our winery guests. They are by far the best in the valley. Highly recommend!!!

I tried Soda Canyon Store a few times 10 years ago and while the menu looked great the food was blah blah blah. After the management change I gave Soda Canyon Store another try and TBH they had a pretty rough time of reopening but I gave the new management some time and they've done a great job getting the menu and service tightened up. The food is much better than under the old management and is now what I expect from a Napa "country store". The tuna salad is outstanding as is the "such a ham" sandwich which has a pepper spread that's nicely spicy. The breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches are great too. Nice to have a good "country store" again.

Great local neighborhood gem. Awesome for a quick bite in between tasting reservations. Fresh sandwiches, baked good and ice cream. Staff and owner could not be any friendlier and accommodating. Plenty of parking and seating on the property. Must stop by when in Napa.

We were excited to try this place after the ownership change. Our sandwiches were mediocre at best. We do not plan to come back.

First time coming back after a few years, stopped in on my way to work to grab a breakfast burrito and let me tell you, it was big, scrumptious and filling. Their chipotle cream was the perfect touch to the burrito and the service was great from everyone. Highly recommend stopping by

I really wanted to like this place. Almost gave 1 star. The customer service here is really lousy. Upon entering,We got completely ignored. Typical kids behind the counter that don't wanna be there. Plus staff was rude and cold. Subpar sandwich, with the high napa valley prices. I've had better sandwiches at ranch market or Safeway.They were out of a lot of bread. Except sweet roll which was really thin and Flat. Exceptionally long line and only one older gal on the coffee bar to ring everybody up. She was taking an extra long time to craft one guys espresso drink. Well six of us just stood there and watched holding like one or two items. No sense of urgency and seem like I was there for 20 minutes just trying to cash out my food was already ready and I was still in line. The sandwich wasn't bad but it was not filling for the high price tag I left there hungry. The store seemed tired. I couldn't even use the bathroom because the employees were in there there was a large number of local migrant workers grabbing all kinds of corona and modelos, gawking Add any girl who walked in there wasted over $28 plus tip. They also had a sign for limo drivers to bring four guests to get a free deli item I wouldn't bring anybody here no coming back

Stopped here between wine tasting. Cool spot that offers lots of food options, wine, beer and much more. Seating is Available outside under covers. We enjoyed those hearty sandwiches. Enjoy.

I'm glad they reopened as I have been a long time customer. The food is great however they are light on salads and only one choice for a vegetarian as the other salad comes prepackaged with bacon. Hoping they adjust and give us more salad options like they had before! Sandwiches are great as ever and I know they will figure out what works!

The Soda Canyon Store has been a staple in the valley for a long time. It changed ownership about 1 year ago, and the new owner, MeSun has done a wonderful job in keeping the old school charm while re-creating the space. I had the opportunity to try their tuna sandwich, and it is phenomenal! Growing up in San Diego, the locals there know all about the virtues of the fresh caught seafood sandwiches from Point Loma Seafoods. I literally have taken a cab from the airport to grab a tuna sand on a long layover there... Well, the Tuna Sandwich at Soda Canyon Store rivals this! The sushi-grade tuna is flown in daily, poached in Olive Oil and is absolutely delicious! Order it on their fresh sour dough bread and you will not be disappointed! The picnic tables on their lawn are an inviting spot for lunch or take it along for a picnic at your favorite Napa Valley Spot. The Soda Canyon Store is not to be missed!

I was so sad when the Soda Canyon Store originally shut down. Appreciate how much the new owners put into the space - soft serve ice cream, comfortable places to sit, and tasty food. Top service as well, this is a staple on Silverado and I appreciate everything they're doing.

We stopped at the Soda Canyon Store in Napa for lunch recently. Our time was limited, and we were a little hungry. This place was convenient, right off the Silverado Trail. They sold a variety of items including beer, wine and soft drinks and had a nice-looking deli. We opted for two hot pastrami sandwiches, potato salads and sodas. The folks behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating was available. The sandwiches were very good. The servings of hot pastrami were generous and the swizz cheese, dressing and slaw on top was perfect. A good meal. Prices were reasonable, and the service was fast.

I stopped by on Sunday and had a delicious sandwich. So good in fact two days later I stopped in again to get one to go. It was huge! It was delish! It was fresh and made by a sandwich artist! I can't stop talking about it. Service was quick even tho they were busy. I think they had four employees making sandwiches for customers. The store is clean with lots of options to purchase. My only issue was the restroom was out of order. Other than that, this place is a must stop with friendly staff and fresh made delicious sandwiches.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! the staff is the sweetest! This place is all deep cleaned and FRESH NEW PAINT! The food is delicious, great organic quality produce! There's even comfortable couches and seating area inside and outside! Highly recommend! Thank you soda canyon for a great experience!

Just re-opened under new ownership, the Soda Canyon Store has a fresh look, super friendly staff and something I never thought I would lay eyes on outside the Tri-State area - TAYLOR HAM. The Jersey Girl sandwich was the special on the day I walked in and I was excited to try a new twist on the classic sandwich I grew up with. It's served on a fresh English muffin with melty cheese and an oozing egg, plus a spoonful of tangy kimchi to balance all the fatty, salty goodness. Nom.

Terrible after change of ownership. It is now dirty, boring food is gross, and highly over priced. Go to any other lunch place.

This place since their revamp has gone down hill considerably. All of their ingredients feel cheaper and their bread seems much worse than before. I ordered a Tuna salad sandwich and they gave me chicken salad instead which I've noticed several other reviews have said they do. On top of that there was a large piece of raw chicken in the sandwich. Do not go here there are so many other great delis in the valley.

Called ahead and ordered sandwich. Fresh, fast service and tasty. Would recommend if you're looking for casual food in the Napa area.

We were finally able to stop by here after their reopening. Everything from their sandwiches, to the selection of beer and wine was amazing. We sat inside because it was raining outside and it was warm and cozy. We didn't have a chance to get coffee over there but that's going to be on our next trip as this will be our new spot to always grab lunch before wine tasting! The owner is extremely sweet and cares about her customers. She also ended up giving us samples of the soft serve they have there and it was very yummy.

New Owners! Definitely excited to see this business still open and with a new take. Plus note, free coffee refills Manager was very nice and showcased their new chicken and tuna salads. I definitely appreciate the tuna not having mayonnaise in it. Very delicious! I had a fried egg sandwich and a latte. Egg was cooked perfectly. Food came out quickly. Extra points for them using Eco packaging and Notree cups for their drinks! I swing by again when passing by.

Stopped in wednesday to see if this beautiful place was serving food, and they are, and it was well worth our stop. We were so very lucky, we got to meet the owner MeeSun, who was so very helpful and interested in our experience to her new place, which has been recently painted and all the attention to details were on par. We had delicious sandwiches, huge chocolate chip cookie, citrus roll that was so yummy. They have a very lovely spot to eat outdoors; wish we would of sat in the wicker furniture for lunch, it is very cozy and quaint. Till next time, McMahan Family from Lake County, Ca

Let me start this post out by saying, I am a very picky eater! With that in mind, this store gets a 5-star review! I have not had one thing that isn't delicious, and everything is fresh and well presented! The avocado toast is amazing, the beefy roast beef is divine, and the pastries and soft serve are a must have sweet treat! I love the ambiance, and the staff are friendly and welcoming! If you are in the area - you must make Soda Canyon a stop on your journey!

Wonderful place to have lunch along the Silverado Trail! Best fresh tuna salad I have ever had. Fresh tuna poached in olive oil and rosemary, no mayo needed! Host/owner MeeSun will guide you through the offerings and show you local items for sale in the grocery section! Indoor/ outdoor seating is surrounded by flowers, olive trees, and succulents. Not to be missed on a trip around Napa!

Avoid this place. We placed a large order, the food wasn't good at all, and they got most of it wrong, the employees were rude. Tons of other places in the area, I definitely would not recommend going here. The sandwiches were just okay... again, they forgot multiple sides in our order. Not good. Do not recommend.

Stopped here for sandwiches from the deli while on our winery tour. We called our order in, and the sandwiches were ready pretty shortly after we arrived. Plenty of snack and beverage options. Outdoor seating is available, but we enjoyed our sandwiches on the road. Very tasty!!

If a friend, winery employee or limo driver recommends this terrible place to you, you may wish to rethink your relationship with them; it's very likely they hate you. In desperation, I stopped by SCG for a sandwich recently, only to be thoroughly disappointed by the low-energy "service" staff. I'm curious if they smoke endless tokes of weed before their shift, as they all move so slowly and without purpose. The food is mediocre, and most of the time, the stoned staff get the order quite wrong (no cheese, extra onions, mayo, no this or lots of that). Why does this place still exist? Can't someone please rescue the Silverado corridor and take over this spot, hire some decent crew and act like they can at least tolerate working there? A few nice deli meats, taco/burrito fillings, etc and you could be rockin'! Help!! Maybe some coffee? Help!

They sold me a bad chicken salad sandwich. Spent my last day and night in Napa on vacation being sick. I thought it was odd when we went in that there were no other customers at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Their display case where all their refrigerated prepared foods were kept looked sparse. I think they don't have a lot of customers and served me food that had gone bad. Also the preparer did not wear gloves. Poor choice on my part for a quick sandwich.

I don't write many yelp reviews but when I have a great experience, I try to make sure I post. If I ever have a negative experience somewhere, I believe in giving the business the opportunity to address the issue instead of posting about it online. I'm a local in Napa and this was my first time visiting this store in a couple of years and since the change of ownership. How refreshing to meet a team and the owner who were all so friendly, genuinely kind, and happy to help me. I only wanted a breakfast sandwich but got a sample of their WONDERFUL soft serve ice cream also while I was there because the owner offered. Her energy and excitement about this business of hers was so obvious and contagious. Every food item looked fresh and delicious. Ask about the cream in their soft serve, it comes from the Jersey cows. Anyway- what more could you want? Great service, quality food, places to sit outside and in, happy faces. I'll be coming back soon for lunch and possibly sooner for ice cream

Stopped in today to grab a sandwich on my way home after work. As soon as I walked in, I was quickly greeted by employees with a warm welcome. I got in line and started looking at the sandwich menu. Everything looked delicious I ended up going with the roast beef sandwich. They were all out of the bread that usually comes with the roast beef sandwich ;they said they had a busy morning) so I opted for the Dutch crunch as a substitute. Waited about seven minutes for my sandwich while waiting, one of the employees offered me a free sample of their soft serve ice cream. They source the milk from specialty cows out in Sonoma and you can honestly taste the difference. I will go back just for the soft serve alone! I got my sandwich and as soon as I got in my car, I couldn't wait and I took a bite. This sandwich was amazing!!! Fresh sliced roast beef could still see the pink in the center, fresh vegetables the Dutch crunch was soft and still had great crunch on top. 10 out of 10! I will definitely be back and I can't wait to see this business flourish. Amazing hospitality, great food, tons of locally sourced items for purchase. Definitely recommend this as a pitstop to anyone that's in Napa.

So this was our second time in hopes there would be some improvement. Although our sandwiches were good, it is expensive & the odd absence of bottled water for purchase. The store lacks the personality & enthusiasm that should reflect a Napa Valley experience. You order at the front before you even check out the deli in the back & what side items are available. It's just lacks a fun atmosphere. Go to Genova Deli, Oakville Market or V. Sattui. Disappointed twice won't be back or recommend. This store used to be fun and lively & Busy! It's Napa smile & act like you're happy we dropped in!

Excellent sandwiches however at $14 each, you would think it would include a side of something like potato salad, a pickle...anything. Nothing. Disappointing. Otherwise, staff was friendly. Interior is attractive however there is a huge empty area in front of the deli counter. Seems like they ran out of ideas for the space. $40 for two pre-made sandwiches and two beverages is ridiculous, even for Napa. Unless something changes, for the money I will go to Genova Deli instead.

I drove past this store many times, but it wasn't until I heard about a new team of owners that I decided to make a visit. I can sense that the new management is dedicated to making this Napa landmark a must-visit for all Napa visitors. Situated in the heart of Napa Valley, it has so much potential and I am thrilled that it finally has a visionary management team that can make it what it truly can be. I look forward to seeing its transformation to something great.

Everything is changing at this place. Color, Smell, and most importantly Food. Staff and owners are so attentive and willing to engage with any customers who walk in. This place is precious for locals and loved by visitors.

What a great stop for a quick bite on the Silverado Trail in Napa. The Cobb salad was fresh and delicious and the sandwiches also. I heard the %100 beef dog is the thing to try. The new revision and team here ware so welcoming and lovely. Chef Ulrich can add another success to his belt. The outdoor picnic table seating is perfect for nice days, and now more seating options inside as well. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Best tuna sandwich ever! I love that I can pick up my favorite bottle of Innovatus while getting lunch. So glad I stopped here.

Writing an update as its been 8 years since my first time at Soda Canyon! I now travel every few months up to Napa to get my fix. They are consistently good. I highly recommend ordering online for pick up as it gets very busy! I still love coming here and will continue to do so!

This store was recommended at a winery tour we took nearby. Wonderful sandwich and the blueberry muffin was to die for---so good!!!!
