Great value and the service was excellent! Awesome owners and I loved having a home cooked meal after a long travel day, thank you.

If you’re looking for a break from the more touristy expensive restaurants, check out Soda Mima. I came on a Sunday night and was the only one there, had a great healthy meal, lots of fresh flavor, got to watch a soccer game on the TV. Can be hard to find if you don’t enter from the right side of the block, but super worth it.

The staff were kind and accommodating with our kids, which we appreciated. But that’s where the positives end. The prices were EXTREMELY high for a local soda, especially compared to others we’ve enjoyed across Costa Rica... The food took about 40 minutes to arrive, even though we were the only family there, and when it did, it was overly salty and just not good. Definitely not worth the wait or the price. Would not recommend.

Tasty local food at reasonable prices. I had a beautiful vegetarian meal and drink for less then 10$

This is a shady restaurant. The owner slammed the money on the counter and walked away unhappily after I discovered he overcharged me. We waited nearly an hour for one of the dishes to be served. Oh, and they charge a 10% service fee even though there’s no service at all, and no one speaks English. By far the worst experience I’ve had in Costa Rica!

Definitely recommend if you are in La Fortuna. The food was good and flavorful. The portions were also good and filling. The servers were pleasant and accommodating. Would for sure eat at Soda Mima again.

I was recommended here by a local, I was a little worried when I was the only person in the restaurant (at lunch time). Ordered the chicken fajitas and it was so good! Juicy chicken and veggies - very home cooked (a bit oily).

Big place where you can sit outside under the big roof, they do also have an inside dining area, if it’s to warm for you outside. Food is good and tasty, the portions are also relatively big. Prices are also fair. You want see the restaurant from the main street, it’s accessible from the side street. Cash and card payment are available.
