One of our favorite cafes in Norway!! Such a beautiful spot to sit for a bite or a meal -- we LOVED the casual vibe and it was incredibly family/child-friendly. The decor was very homey, the food was excellent (especially the cinnamon buns!! The best we've had so far!), and the staff were kind, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our food and experience there, we really can't say enough good things about them -- it's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!!

We enjoyed a quick lunch here on the road. The garden is beautiful, the staff is friendly. The food is fine, better than most place on the road. Highly recommend travelers to stop by.

Nice cinnamon roll, tiny tinge of cardamon.Found a hair embedded in the roll Instantly turned off it, originally 7/10 , bit doughy but I might not be the best judge as cinnamon rolls aren’t my first choice but definitely bumped down to 3/10, a hair in your food instantly ruins anything, especially as it was baked into the roll Hot chocolate was really hot (duh in the name), a rich dark chocolatey flavour but overall I was excited for the fresh cream and chocolate shavings on top like I’d seen in multiple other reviews. Good balance, not overly sweet, not too rich; floating oil as if melted butter/separated cream, I’m not mad definitely would add a thicker creamy texture. 7/10, disappointed I didn’t get the same experience others had, no reasoning behind the stripped back hot chocolate but at its core was a good drink. The lady at till was friendly and quick, what more could you want. My hot chocolate took 5 minutes which it’s perfectly acceptable. After that I was left alone to finish and leave which I also don’t mind. Would’ve been nice to have a takeaway option especially for the hot drinks to take out. But the views out the window is pleasant, cable cars coming back with Mountain View’s over the sea.

Please make some more effort for vegans.... The menu on the website is misleading. No vegan wrap, no soup and no quinoa salad were offered at the time I visited. All I could get were a simple salad and two pizzas: a red one and a white one, for exorbitant prices. I asked for the red one. I got the white one. Anyhow, no effort at all was made. Too much oil for this thin dough, too little baking, only some vegan cheese on top, olives, onions, pears for some reason and lettuce for some other reason. It wasn't sliced, and it was pretty difficult to slice it with a regular knife because of how sticky it was. The Vegan cheese was good, but a pizza (especially one that costs about 20 eur) is more than a soggy dough with cheese.. Even for a tiny town like this, I expected more.

Great atmosphere, a lot of hand made details, small shop with some soap, bags and sweets, most of them are local and handmade. Sometimes they have live concerts. Food is good, burger's bread is awesome. Kitchen sometimes can be slow, I waited for my order approx 30 mins. Stuff are really friendly and helpful 😊

We’ve stopped by there after a hike. We had a wonderful time at the coffee. The Cinnamon bun was fresh and very tasty (the best we had in Norway so far) and we felt welcomed. Loved the atmosphere.

Very cute cafe with friendly staff and great food! I had the vegan wrap which was packed with flavour, and they had multiple vegan baked goods for dessert as well, the lemon cake was especially tasty. They made one of the best iced coffees I had in Norway too. Thank you for a great lunch 😊

Yelp
This place was a dream come true. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with the brightest smiles in all Norway. The young ladies in charge are nothing short of amazing. They immediately made us feel at home and provided us with one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. And then the food was amazing too, and the town a reflection of paradise. It was even conveniently located just a step away from Romsdalsgondolen, the place we had stopped in Andalsness to see and experience. Norway has a special way of making random, unexpected discoveries incredibly perfect, and running into this magical place certain was a great example of that! I highly recommend everyone visiting Trollstigen, Geiranger, and/or Romsdalsgondolen to definitely make a stop here, talk to the people, grab a glass of wine, and something to eat. You won't be disappointed! I frankly can't wait to go back!

Yelp
A charming general store and lunch spot - off the beaten path filled with locals. Yummy burgers and pizzas with many, many desserts homemade. Ambience was lovely and warm. English menus and language readily spoken. Service was warm and hospitable.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I arrived in Andalsnes starving, so I opened Yelp and we went straight to this place, as it was the only one with a review. We weren't expecting much but boy were we surprised! It's only open for lunch, and there is always a sizable crowd of locals. I ordered the mango wrap, which was super yummy, and my boyfriend got the burger. The owner came to ask us how the food was and told us how she makes the bread - all the bread here is baked in house, and it has a delightful chewy texture. It's a real standout. We also shared a cinnamon bun. We came back for breakfast the next morning, and everything was wonderful then as well. The oat milk latte was frothy and rich. The interiors are also whimsical - the mismatched chairs are super cute. Would definitely come back if I'm back in town.

Yelp
We stopped in and enjoyed a burger and a vegetarian burger. So yummy and flavorful! Extra points for having Kombucha in stock!! Definitely check this place out if you're in town! It's artisanal and delicious :)

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised. This cafe turned out to be a great find. The locally sourced ingredients and freshness of each dish made this place one of the best eats we had while in the area. Their burger features award winning blue cheese and handpicked ingredients that packs a flavor punch. The bread is even made in-house and adds a good balance to the meat. The salad had a light refreshing broth that complemented the fruits and veggies in the dish. If you're in the area / on your way to Trollstigen, definitely give this place a visit.

Yelp
Everything about this place is lovely, the amazing homemade food, decor, service, deserts, coffee...I could go on. I wanted one of everything (and almost ate one of everything). After learning too late that Trollstigen pass was closed, this place made it well worth our two hour detour.

Yelp
Fantastic, friendly food. Served with a smile. Owner agreed to stay open past her usual hours so we could sample her off- menu Burgers. Great burgers with Ginger, mango, avocado and rough bread. Simple, wholesome food - and a great bottled beer and wine selection to boot. Not cheap.

Yelp
During the transition to Geiranger, we stopped at Åndalsnes and tried this sweet family run restaurant. We liked very much their mango wrapper and cheesecake. Definitely will stop by next time when I am in town.
