Heaven on earth. Always good to be back. No better feeling to finally emerge through the bushes and see the waves. Quick run over the dunes and in you go. Best bar to enjoy a cold with a nice view. Good people, super staff and nice cottages. Private and clean. 10/10

Just go. You owe it to yourself to see this paradise. The diving is unsurpassed. And you can see incredible fish just snorkelling in the rock pools.

What a beautiful place. Very well looked after. The security makes you feel very safe. Saw so many whales and even managed to get some fishing in. Just gorgeous. If you plan on taking your 4x4, make sure you get your permit early in the morning. And don't forget to get a fishing permit.

I absolutely adore Sodwana Bay National Park. I'm a scuba diver and have been to many places to dive, and still Sodwana stands out. Some of the dives were even better than the ones I did in the Red Sea. The sea life is mind-blowing, brimming with intense color and variety. The amphitheater at 5 mile was just.. wow.. Visibility is usually very good, and the temperature of the water is quite warm. And the waves are not that like those vomiting inducing ones at Unkomaas! :) The beauty of the beach is another gem of Sodwana, where you can take a long walk and lose yourself in your thoughts. There are beautiful photo opportunities everywhere. The town itself is very small and provides the basic requirements at a small shop. But there are sufficient restaurants to make sure you don't sleep hungry. Do take note that the town and the majority of accommodation are not within walking distance of the beach. Also, you need a daily permit (that you can buy at the gate) to enter the Sodwana National Park where all activities take place. It is worthwhile to get a Rhinocard - saves a lot of money!

Great outdoor experience. The place is just perfect as a camping site. It is surrounded by nature and the Indian Ocean adds to its flourishing beauty.

Beautifull place, but very little maintenance. Sitting without water now for the second day. It seems like deep sea fishing and diving is ruling the roorst now days.
