Sofa Hotel

If I could give a ZERO star review I would. This place treated us with the worst levels of respect and took advantage of tourists like us. They over-charged us for the transportation and asked us to pay with an inflated exchange rate. After paying them regardless, they refused to host us and let us into our hotel rooms that we booked online. I was traveling with my mother and he let us, two women, out the door around 10pm at night. It’s the worst treatment and manipulation from a hotel. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR DO THIS TO ANYONE.

One of the most charming hotels we've ever stayed in, it surpassed our expectations. The hotel was truly beautiful in a great location in Avanos and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the Deluxe Double Room which was amazing....it was huge, with a super comfy bed, a fantastic shower, great wifi and a lovely sitting area. We spent time on the lovely rooftop terrace on one afternoon and had dinner at the restaurant right next door on our last night. Tip: you should at least have a drink next door, the entrance to the restaurant needs to be seen!|Breakfast at Sofa Hotel was also amazing, so much to choose from and the best of our trip. We were recommended this hotel and, unusually for me, I booked it without doing much research.....I'm so glad I did. We couldn’t have wished for a better stay!

Hotel location is center of The Avanos, view from rooms very good. Stuffs are calm and kind. Service, breakfast also good. They offered coffee and beer us for free. When we checked out they gave some magnets/souvenirs as a gift. We are so glad to have our holiday in Sofa Hotel.

The hotel has a very nice and authentic architecture. The location is very nice with the views of Kızılırmak. The breakfast of the hotel is also quite generous and delicious.

This hotel is a little gem- traditional and cosy. Takes you back in time. The decor and collection of old artifacts is beautiful. Conveniently located in the town of Avanos just off the main road and very quiet. We stayed for two nights in an accommodation for four people - the rooms were clean and filled with an interesting collection of old artifacts. The beds were comfy and shower room was large and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and polite. They helped with a last min booking for a hot air balloon ride, recommended some good local restaurants and also allowed us to check out late. The breakfast was also very nice

We had a truly lovely stay! The hotel is cozy and well-kept, and the staff were incredibly professional and kind — always ready to help with a smile. What really won us over, though, were the adorable cats roaming around — friendly, cuddly, and such a charming presence. It made the whole experience feel extra special. As a sweet final touch, they even gave us a magnet as a farewell gift. We'd happily come back!

Clean, friendly, cozy and designed hotel. Very Turkish decorated. Highly recommend. Manager is always attentive and helpful!! Thanks for hosting!

I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Cappadocia! It's beautiful, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. You couldn't find a better hotel.
