Sofa Hotel Istanbul, Autograph Collection

Great experience at the sofa hotel. I was called by name by the doorman waiting outside. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival they upgraded me to a cornersuit (Marriott Platinum Elite). Was very surprised by the quality of food of the room service, excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in Istanbul, great experience.

Stayed in sofa for 14 days payed in advance and unfortunately non refundable. Let's start with the only 2 good things which r the location, and the taste of food (room service and their restaurant). Reception staff were clueless, careless, and rude, housekeeping staff were nice but never did their job right, they just fix the bed nothing else never re-supplied the room, I had no tissues for 6 days kept asking them and reception, even though they said they will they never did, towels too I had to look for the housekeeper and take some from them and that happened 5 times! housekeepers make a lot of noise in the morning even when the "no disturb sign" is on! room service was slow, beds and pillows r not comfortable, sink didn't work properly, room was dark and noisy u can hear every single happening outside, and rooms smells really bad smelled like sewage, windows had no screens so every insects will come in when u open them, and there's no safe box in the room!!! Finally this experience won't be repeated and wish u don't go there and be miserable too, price was expensive and didn't worth half of it.

I found a lot of dust and hair under the bed! And on the floor. When I open the bathroom water. Yellow water came out and it took more than 5 minutes to go ! The location of the hotel is good but it can be noisy outside

I’m currently still in this hotel as I type this. Upon arrival, I really liked the style of this hotel. Very beautiful and artistic! The location of this hotel is also very amazing! Close to cute cafes and fashion boutiques which I really like! However, there is a fowl smell that hits you right in the face right when you enter the hotel. The smell lingers in the rooms as well. We’re trying to ignore the smell issue assuming there is some plumbing issues here, hopping it’ll go away soon. Once we entered the room we were surprised at how big and beautiful it was! Unfortunately once I looked at the bedsheet, there was a huge shoe stain on it as if someone had stepped on it right before we came in. This was around 10:30 am. I went downstairs and kindly asked them to replace the sheets. I waited for 30 minutes and no one came so I called. They said they’ll send someone immediately. I waited for 45 min this time and called again and they gave me the same answer. I called the third time (around 12:15) and they said that they had already called someone to come in and I told them that no one showed up and they said that they’ll contact the cleaning service again. I waited until 1:00 and still no one showed up. I was hoping to get some sleep before I head out since I had a long day of traveling but I couldn’t bring myself to sleep on a bed that a person had stepped on with their shoe!! So I went downstairs and asked them for the 4th time for them to please send someone to change the sheet. They apologized and said they’ll send someone immediately. This time they actually did what they promised. When the head of cleaning service came in, I told her that I had asked the front desk for this for more than an hour and she said that she just got the call now! I was honestly surprised. Overall, the staff have been nice so far. Every time I called, they answered in an apologetic and respectful way. I didn’t want to throw a big fit about the sheets, I just simply wanted them to be changed so I could sleep a little 😅

Today we booked 90 min massage for 2 people. As we arrived the spa smells very bad. Brrr. 1 therapist did only 60 min the other 85 min. In the changing room was still waste from other guests. OMG ... not good service if you ask for 540 TL for 90 min. massage. Never again ... it a pity

Nice location, lobby and restaurant , the rooms looks amazing "BUT" its too too hot with degree around or above 30° and no air-conditioning or real windows in room, the daily cleaning is simply fake, they don't wipe the floors or change the sheets the room was dusty 🗑️, the staff aren't helpful and it feels like a 3 stars hotel not 5. So UNRECOMMENDED HOTEL. 🗑️🗑️🗑️

Really nice place to stay. Very clean. It's unfortunate I only had a chance to eat in my room It was all work and no play. Would go back another time.

Sofa Hotel is a Boutique hotel and part of the Autograph collection of the Marriott Hotels group. It's conveniently located in the Fashionable Nisantase District close to City Mall The rooms are fairly large and contemporary in design However not all have a view We had three separate rooms 2 looked into an atrium and the 3rd had a window without a view. Nevertheless the rooms and bathrooms were well designed and we felt comfortable with the amenities in the room Large screen TV. Large Bathroom separate toilet mini bar room service daily rundown service coffee shop top floor " Frankie" bar cum restaurant. A small gym and Spa in the basement. Staff generally helpful However English is not their first language and sometimes request can be misunderstood. Lots of restaurants and retail outlets are nearby There is a mosque nearby Taskive ( about 5 min ) Although under renovation, it is still a working mosque Cinema is also located in the City mall opposite of the hotel So overall very comfortable stay I would return to this hotel Good airconditoned rooms comfortable beds Clean and secure environment. If I could make a couple of recommendations for improvement 1) please try and improve the standard of the gym equipment The cross trainer is not a standard brand Try and keep all equipment life fitness when updating equipment 2) include an iron and iron board in each room

Tranquility in the middle of busy business district. Surrounded by high end shopping and restaurants. I end up stopping by and relaxing here when I am nearby.
