Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort

Wonderfully welcoming and attentive staff who make you feel instantly at home and who can’t do enough for you. Great location with easy access to the city and of course the temples. The food was lovely with plenty of choice between traditional Cambodian food and western choices and the hotel will arrange bookings and transport to other venues. The hotel layout is spectacular with a great pool and the rooms are spacious but are maybe getting a little dated. However, not enough to fault the overall experience.

One of my favorite hotels in the world. Absolutely superb management and service which is to be expected with Sofitel. On top of that the staff are truly magnificent, super efficient and all delivered with a smile. The rooms are spacious and have all the facilities you would need. The gardens are what makes this hotel, the beautiful lakes filled with lotuses, the fountains, the birds chirping away, it's truly a paradise. The breakfast was just awesome, full of choice. Sofitel in Siem Reap won't disappoint you.

I have visited more than 70 luxury hotels in different countries, I can safely say that this hotel exceeded all expectations. Beautiful rooms, cozy interior, every corner of the hotel is thought out to the smallest detail and everything is done with love. Wonderful aromas, fresh flowers, amazing garden, varied breakfast. I want to say a special thank you to the hotel staff, everyone was very attentive to us and friendly. If you are looking for a wonderful place to relax where you will be surrounded by care and attention, this is the place for you. Never before have I seen staff who love their job so much

This was a very pleasant stay at Siem Reap! The hotel has a beautiful setting and is very well laid out. The bar is great and they make wonderful margaritas. The room was good, the bed very comfortable, but the absence of wall sockets next to the headboard makes it very difficult to lie down while charging your gadgets. The bathroom is very dated. Also, there were little ants everywhere in the room on the furniture and on the bed too. The staff was incredibly kind and polite.

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel in a magnificient park like garden. We stayed in a marvellous junior suite, and the Club Millesime was a real gem. I think this is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. Every detail was perfect, and the staff was totally amazing. ||Also, visiting Siem Reap has become really easy, e-visa and Angkor Wat tickets can easily be obtained online, and Grab works great for all local rides and deliveries (including airport transfers and going to Angkor Wat).

What a remarkable resort. This is how luxury is done and is one of the best Sofitels I’ve stayed in (as a top tier Accor member for probably 15-20 years. The staff are sensational. They know your name, bend over backwards to make you feel at home, remember your preferences and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Room upgrade, lounge, concierge, facilities, restaurant, bar - all 10/10. I understand now why everyone on FlyerTalk rave about this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Quite possibly among the best resorts I’ve ever stayed in. ||The property is on a huge plot of land, maybe ten minutes and a $3 tuk tuk ride from the bustling but exciting middle of town, Pub Street. ||Right from the outset the staff made you feel absolutely welcome. ||The rooms are spread far and wide across the resort, with multiple restaurants, bars including a Champagne and a cigar bar, a huge freeform swimming pool, spa centre and any other activities you can Imagine set among gorgeous gardens and bird sanctuary.||The place is beautiful.||Rooms are extraordinarily well decorated with the largest king sized bed I’ve ever seen. Beautifully appointed bathroom with bath and shower, small living area and an outside sitting area. ||The room staff are perfect at their job and never once did we need to ask for anything||Breakfast was a feast - buffets, egg station, pho station, bakery, fruits, coffees - you name it. Unbelievable||After three days and nights we were so sad to leave but I think we will return.

The Sofitel greatly exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and went so far as to make sure we had a great time. The room upgrade to room suites was spotless and spacious, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere facing a splendid garden view. The breakfast and lunch spread were incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The swimming pool and the lounge were a great place to relax and cool off. Absolutely liked everything about this hotel, it exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it.
