Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort

The Sofitel greatly exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and went so far as to make sure we had a great time. The room upgrade to room suites was spotless and spacious, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere facing a splendid garden view. The breakfast and lunch spread were incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The swimming pool and the lounge were a great place to relax and cool off. Absolutely liked everything about this hotel, it exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it.

Hands down, this was perhaps one of my best (if not the best) stays at a hotel ever. I am usually quite particular when it comes to hotel stays, but my stay here has been absolutely flawless and there was really nothing to fault. I learnt that this resort has been around for at least the past 20 years, but it was extremely well maintained and the resort grounds were beautiful (and massive!). Safe to say this will be my go-to accommodation the next time I am back in Siem Reap. We received an upgrade and stayed in one of their Suites. The room is huge (it had a walk in wardrobe & a separate living area), and it was extremely clean and comfortable to stay in. Bonus points to the few cats that frequently visited our terrace. Location wise, the resort is strategically located in between the city centre and Angkor Wat, accessible by a short tuk-tuk ride. We also utilised the hotel’s on-call tuk-tuk service, costs USD 1 to get into the city centre. We had breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and dinner a-la-carte at the restaurant (I think it’s called the Citadel?). The buffet spread was very wide and the food was delicious, and service was extremely prompt. That being said, the stars of the show were definitely the hotel staff. Exceptional service, right from the moment we stepped into the hotel, till the moment we left. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, helpful and always smiling. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next stay at Sofitel Siem Reap.

Be ready to be transported to another world once you have step inside the grounds of this resort. Beautifully landscaped with ponds and greenery, this place is an oasis of calm in the countryside of Cambodia. As a Diamond member, I was given a spacious Junior Suite with utmost privacy on the top floor of the garden wing and club benefits include ala carte champagne breakfast until 12pm! As a first time visitor to Cambodia, I did not know what to expect but was highly impressed with the level of service and English proficiency in this hotel. Thank you to the wonderful F&B staff at the all the outlets, from breakfast to evening cocktails and Champagne bar: Sreymech, Seam, Sokhorn, Dany, Leav, Hem, Salad for providing the best service anyone can ask for. Also special thanks to Davorn, Dara, Somaly and Kimseng at the front office for taking care of my requests during my stay and last but not least, the Housekeeping Director Kimhon and her team for ensuring my room is kept in tip-top condition and for sharing her SOFITEL story which could well be a interesting movie plot! I look forward to returning one day and will share with my friends what a wonderful stay I had in the best hotel in Siem Reap.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I initially arrived to coordinate the logistics of a workshop and meeting, and it was clear from the start that the hotel has extensive experience in hosting events. Both activities ran smoothly, and the staff demonstrated remarkable flexibility in accommodating last-minute changes, all while delivering excellent service. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and detail-oriented, providing a personalized experience that truly stood out. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hotel itself is both beautiful and relaxing, an ideal environment for both work and rest. I extended my stay for a few more days for tourism, and the exceptional service continued throughout. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business or leisure, and I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff for making my visit so enjoyable.

Undoubtedly, it is one of the memorable stays we've had. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with utmost warmth and attentiveness. The staff is kind and helpful. They gave us lot of inputs on local information and whereabouts whenever we needed guidance.||The property is gorgeous. The huge water lily pond is calming as you walk to your room. Every evening they have the bell and candle ceremony to mark the end of the day, which is a nice traditional touch.||The facilities at the property are equally great - huge pool with bar and sun decks, the spa therapists are fabulous, the breakfast spread is massive, the housekeeping staff is attentive to any requirements, the Champagne bar is worth exploring.|The proximity to the temples is a huge bonus. Highly recommend booking your stay at Sofitel Siem Reap!

this was simply was an out of this world experience. I don't know where to start. |the staff were absolutely amazing. |The restaurant for breakfast you simply couldn't try everything there was so much choice. |DInner each night again was fabulous. |we had the afternoon tea 👌 wow.|The spa again was fantastic. I had KIm she gave me the best massage ,I've had in a very long time.|our only regret was we only stayed for 3 days. I definitely could have added another week .|but we will be back soon.||
