Sofitel Athens Airport

A luxurious hotel located directly opposite the international airport. I was warmly welcomed immediately upon arrival, without any waiting time. The room was modern, very clean, and well equipped, featuring a large and extremely comfortable bed. Despite being so close to the airport, it was impressively quiet. The spa and gym area is also pleasant. While not particularly large, it is perfectly adequate and offers a lovely view. I would gladly return.

You can't beat the location for catching an early morning flight. Easy access to the Metro where we went back into Athens to walk around, have dinner and gelato. Rooms were a little warm and took time to cool down. There was no issue with airport noise as all the windows are dbl glazed and laminated glass for sound.

Beautiful rooms, reall good aervice, restaurant is amazing and the food is really good and high quality. Also loads and loads of parking around. Only bad thing is due to the hotel being at the airport, you have no actuall decent view, unless you like planes, and it is pretty far outside the city of Athens so tou have to travel quite a bit to grt pretty much anywhere.

Our flight home got changed at the last minute and we found ourselves needing to find a hotel at or near the Athens airport. My husband found this one. It was great for us since we had a long day of travelling and for its being right across the street from the airport. We just walked across the street. The room was large, clean and very quiet. The bed was very comfy. We didn't hear any airplane noise. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional. We ate dinner at the casual restaurant on the main floor and our meals were good. The only negative was the metal backed chairs were uncomfortable. For dessert, we decided to walk back into the airport and get gelato. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of nice choices.

SO HAPPY with this hotel and the service they provided. We had an extremely early flight out of ATH. The rooms are clean and wonderful full of amenities. Awesome layout for a family of 4. The sofa bed was already prepared for my kids. We left to get dinner and when we returned there were 2 full plates of FRESH fruit waiting for us! What an awesome detail. Only negative was the room service selection and desserts were not great and extremely small. Would recommend 10/10. Thanks for a great stay and great service.

Overall this is very convenient and luxurious hotel. Service is excellent and the employees are very friendly and kind. Breakfast also good, for Halal food expectations you have to eat fruits and veggies along with egg omelette from the live counter. Rest all ok. Only thing is going to downtown you may either need to train which is available nearby or commute with your local friends. Taxi are really expensive.

Perfect location to stay as a hub between the airport and touring in Athens. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean. We ate at all three restaurants and every one was great, good staff. We would highly recommend this hotel.

One of the most guest friendly hotels. This is definitely the place you want to spend your last day in Athens. The employees are amazingly attentive to each guests needs. Both restaurants have the most delicious dishes I have had tasted. From appetizers to desserts, everything was sublime. I personally believe your final night should be at an amazing hotel which is literally walking distance from the airport. No stress about getting stuck in traffic and losing your flight. Just a nice, relaxing and memorable end to your business or leisure trip to this wonderful city.
