Sofitel Bogota Victoria Regia

We stayed at this hotel during a multi-city trip to Colombia as a couple. Check in process was quick as there was only one person ahead of us and our room was ready when we arrived. The person at front desk let us know about the restaurant on site as well as different options available to us around town. Our rooms as located in a quiet section that faced a residential courtyard. I found the room to be a bit too dim, but I think that was The ambiance the hotel was going for, and the bathroom provided better lighting for me to see and get ready in. We enjoyed the L'Occitane products that the uses as well. ||We went to the bar twice, once for pre dinner drinks and another time for lattes. Both times we received great service. ||The location is perfect walking distance to many other restaurants and to see the city in general. ||Unfortunately for us, the check out process wasn't as smooth as the check in process. The hotel double charged us for the room although we pre-paid in advance. In order to reverse the charges, the hotel wanted a physical credit card which then caused us to cut it very close to making our flight home. It was quite a debacle. ||Overall, we had a good stay (minus the check out) at the Sofitel Bogota Victoria.

We booked a double luxury room for 4 nights. Upon arrival we were settled in room 704, on the second-highest floor, facing carrera 13th. Our room was straightforward furnished, reasonably sized, with quite a huge & comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and service provided indeed good. Food quality and variety for breakfast was also very good and attractively presented. Unfortunately our room turned out to be quite noisy as the soundproofing against both outside & inside noise is apparently rather marginal. This attractive location is also obviously very busy, especially over the weekend, as there are many restaurants, bars and dancings in the neighborhood. Nevertheless a good experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was around to welcome us, check-in was smooth, the staff was very well trained and friendly. The location is excellent, surrounded by hundreds of bars and restaurants. The hotel staff did everything to make our stay comfortable including getting us complimentary wine and cheese. The room was very comfortable and modern. The hotel bar was good too. Memorable stay.

I am a huge fan of Sofitel and the Accor brand hotels. This hotel is beautiful and the location is good; however, we had many troubling issues. On our first night at the hotel we opened a complimentary water bottle next to the bed to find poop in the cap and top of the bottle. We took it to to the front desk the next morning to let them know about the issue. I did not expect anything or ask for anything but an explanation. No one ever got back to us in how something so disgusting could possibly happen. That same night at 330 in the morning someone from maintenance knocked on our door incessantly until I answered. They said they were there because of a complaint about noise from the refrigerator. It was the wrong room. I never addressed this with the hotel as these things happen. At checkout nothing was said about the problem with the water bottle even though I asked for an explanation. Two days after I left the hotel i received an email from management saying that they made a mistake and didn't charge me for my stay. I said I would be happy to pay if that was the case and send me the bill. They sent the wrong amount and included an additional 19% tax that as a foreign traveler I should not have been charged. They told me that based on the stamp in my visa I was responsible to pay it. Overall service and management need to get their act together as it is a beautiful hotel in a good neighborhood but this is absolutely not what I expect from any Sofitel or Accor Brand hotel

We had a fantastic stay as part of our honeymoon! Staff and location couldn’t have been nicer. We mentioned it was our honeymoon and they went way above and beyond: champagne, balloons and nice treats. We’ve never stayed anywhere that treated us as kindly as they did here. Rooms were great and food was delicious as well. Highly recommend for anyone!!

A nicely designed and centrally located hotel. Front desk staff and the door men were friendly and kind. A special shoutout to the concierge, Sebastian Pulido, who was helpful in securing last minute restaurant reservations and changes to transportation. We greatly appreciated his patience and assistance!

Beautiful, well-located hotel in Zona T. Professional, friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a lot of amenities. The restaurant is also great, with a very complete brunch on Sundays. Walking distance from great restaurants, and shopping centers.

Great hotel in good location, many good restaurants close. Bogota is noisy at night so try and get a high level room but probably ear plugs might be easier. Would have been 5 stars but breakfast service was awful plus they ran out of English Breakfast Tea!
