I really would’ve given this place a five star review just two hours before checkout, but unfortunately, they’re deceptive charging policies prevent prevented me from being able to do this. First the pistachios and the mini bar were sale and they said they were credit them, but they did not until I had to bring it up again. Second they added an over $60 charge to a two night stay for additional tips for Service. In addition to the tips that were already paid at the restaurant and the normal standard rate and they just showed it to me without explaining it or asking, if I wanted to pay this additional tip, this is the first time I’ve ever experienced this type of additional charge that was not properly disclosed in advance in all of the hotel stays. I’ve been in my life all over the world. In addition to this, they charged me for one breakfast when I had breakfast credit for two persons and they didn’t disclose in advance that you couldn’t have a guest was not staying in the hotel use one of the two breakfast credits when I had a friend visit. So overall, just a very disappointing set of excess pricing tactics to extract value on top of what people are already paying for the hotel. If they want to raise their rates, they should simply increase their rates and not use these manipulative tactics that are not disclosed. I will say Upon request. They removed all these charges so I encourage everyone that reads this review to be prepared to have the same conversation I had and hopefully because it will be expected you won’t be as offended as I was in the moment beyond this the service was great. Everything was very nice. They just managed to have someone on their team. That’s thinking about the upsell too much of their time and it takes away from the five star quality of the hotel experience certainly made me feel nicke and dimmed.
