We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and felt very welcomed from the very first moment. The atmosphere here is warm, calm, and genuinely friendly — the kind of place where you feel cared for, not just accommodated. The staff deserve special thanks for their attention, kindness, and sincere attitude. Everyone was always helpful, responsive, and smiling, which made our stay even more comfortable. You can really feel that people here care about guests and their experience. The service was excellent — thoughtful, smooth, and unobtrusive. Everything worked perfectly, and whenever we needed something, it was handled quickly and with warmth. A special thank you to Faheem and Chef Barani for their kindness, professionalism, and personal touch — you truly made our stay even more memorable.

We had a great stay at Sofitel for our five day family vacation with kids. The location is beautiful with clear views of the downtown and CBD. Facilities are excellent. Restaurants are high quality. Everything felt well maintained and comfortable. Service stood out the most. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide variety of fresh options each morning. It easily became the highlight of our day. Special thanks to Shyam at the breakfast lounge. He took great care of us and even arranged Masala tea for our family. That small gesture made us feel at home. Thank you Shyam and the Sofitel team. We will gladly stay again.

This was my third time staying at Sofitel Downtown Dubai, and once again it was a truly pleasant experience. During this visit, I accidentally made a booking mistake — I booked one extra night unintentionally because my return flight was very early in the morning, and I only realized it after check-in. I truly appreciated how flexible, understanding, and professional the hotel team was in helping resolve the situation and assisting with the refund. That level of empathy and hospitality really meant a lot to me. The overall service is consistently outstanding. The room cleanliness is impeccable, the staff are attentive, warm, and always ready to help, which makes every stay feel comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast is another highlight — great variety of food options, well presented, and delicious. I would especially like to give recognition to Marco and Lucky at the breakfast team. Marco truly went the extra mile; when I accidentally choked while coughing, he immediately brought me water without being asked. That kind of anticipation and care is a perfect example of genuine hospitality. Without a doubt, I will definitely return. I travel to Dubai for business at least twice a year, and Sofitel Downtown Dubai remains one of my preferred places to stay. Magnifique, Sofitel Downtown Dubai — keep up the excellent service!

Apparently, at this hotel, breakfast works on a “surprise policy.” I booked a two-night stay with breakfast clearly included. On Day 1, everything was perfectly fine — I had breakfast without any issue. On Day 2, suddenly breakfast disappeared from my booking. Same reservation, same room, different story. Interesting. It’s impressive how a hotel that promotes itself as luxury cannot keep track of what is included in a confirmed reservation. Guests shouldn’t have to debate basic booking details or feel embarrassed for asking for something they already paid for. If consistency and professionalism are too much to expect, perhaps expectations should be lowered along with the room rates. Very disappointing experience.

First time visiting Dubai, I’m a solo traveler. I landed early morning. From the start off, the staff at Sofitel Dubai Downtown was being very friendly and helpful to ease my nerves. My room wasn’t ready at the time of arrival. When I came back from excursion later that day, all my luggage was placed nicely in my room. I booked a room with Burj Khalifa view. The room was clean, spacious, and the view was stunning. The gentleman at concierge and the lady who’s in charge of all the activities in the lobby were also helpful and super nice. They quickly put together things I could do and restaurant I should visit during my stay. I’m grateful for all the staff in the hotel to make my stay so easy and memorable. I had an excellent stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back for my next Dubai trip.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Downtown Dubai, and what truly made it special was the people. A huge thank you to Kelvin from the bar and service team — always welcoming, incredibly attentive, and consistently smiling. His warmth and professionalism made every visit feel relaxed and personal. We’d also like to sincerely thank Chef Barani, who went out of his way to create a special dish for us. That kind of care and flexibility really stood out and made us feel genuinely looked after. Finally, a big shout-out to the entire team at Dhalia. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were excellent throughout. This hotel truly understands hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back.

I had a truly wonderful dinner at the Brasserie Restaurant in Sofitel. The food was absolutely amazing—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care and passion by Chef Anagha. Every dish was delicious and exceeded our expectations. A special mention to Anoop for his outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. His professionalism and warm approach really enhanced our dining experience. Overall, it was a memorable dinner with excellent food and exceptional service. Highly recommended, and I look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic experience at this hotel. We were upgraded to a suite, which was very spacious and offered a great city view. Breakfast was fairly basic, but there was a good selection of fresh fruit. As members, we had a sweet welcome food and also enjoyed the afternoon tea, which was a nice extra. The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve experienced, and the outdoor pool also looked very inviting, although we didn’t have time to use it this visit. On my birthday, the team surprised me with a lovely bed decoration and a small cake, which was a really thoughtful touch. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was excellent throughout. The location is also very convenient, about a 10-minute walk to Dubai Mall.
