Sofitel İstanbul Taksim

We stayed at Sofitel during our trip to Istanbul. Location is perfect, right at the start of Taksim square, and a stones throw away from public transport. The hotel service staff set the tone for a wonderful start to each day. They were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This is especially so for Irfan at breakfast, who is highly attentive and super approachable. Plates were cleared promptly, coffee and tea were always topped up without us needing to ask, and he checks in just the right amount—never intrusive, always thoughtful. It is also great to know that the hotel group is active in the sustainability front! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The room quality and overall experience were outstanding. All the staff members were incredibly kind and answered our questions with great patience. A special thanks to Merve, who was exceptionally helpful and kind throughout our stay. We stayed here for six days and had a wonderful experience. The internal manager, Ms. CANDAN, was so kind and helpful, always guiding us with a warm smile. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was when surprised us with a lovely birthday celebration. Room service graciously brought ice to our room everyday for my injured foot. Your breakfast servers and staff always had a welcoming smile! Thank you Emirhan and Merve, chefs and all of you. Your 24-hr dry cleaning service was fantastic, as was the kind gentleman who helped us fill out the form and delivered the coat back to us. Housekeeping was exceptional, thank you! Our refridge was repaired within an hour. We highly recommend Sofitel!

I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Taksim Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the elegant design and warm hospitality. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day in the city. The hotel maintains an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout, which made me feel both safe and at ease during my stay. Its location in Taksim is perfect, offering convenience while still providing a peaceful and secure environment. Overall, Sofitel Taksim is a beautiful, clean, and safe hotel that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul. Amazing service and accommodations. You can’t get a better location in the city than this. As someone with celiac disease I was worried I wouldn’t find a lot of food here I could eat. However I was surprised with the hotel and their ability to accommodate for my dietary needs. Breakfast has its own gluten free corner and the staff will help you as much as they possibly can. Spesial thanks to Merve who understood my concerns for cross contamination and helped me get food straight from the kitchen. The hotel also has their own cat who hangs out in the lobby. Amazing if you love cats as much as me.

Okran. You always solved our problems very helpful front desk manager. You are always smiling and happy which passed on to us as well. We've loved every moment of our stay here 10x times more because of your efforts. Our Bosphorus suite room views is amazing and was very clean and organized thanks to MUZAFFER. We hope to come back Istanbul and staying with Sofitel in the future.

Hotel location, room and view was good. Service was good. Breakfast was average. Reason for the poor review - restaurant on the top floor Nomad is actually a night club and played music till 1.30 am. Crazy that this is allowed in a hotel. Most importantly the rooms have very poor sound insulation - my room had an inter leading door, that was closed, and I could hear the entire conversation and happenings in the room next door - where the guest in the other room was having a cocaine party till 5am. Multiple people in and out of the room, bottles consistently moving, loud conversations, card slapping on a table promptly followed by snorting. I reported this to reception who advised I wasn’t the first to complain and they would call security but nothing was done to remedy

Beautiful, modern yet luxurious hotel. Truly 5 star. Excellent indoor swimming pool- but note you need a swim cap to use it, so we had to buy one. Lovely evening snacks in the Club Milesime in the evening, but only available 6-8 pm. Staff friendly and professional
