I recently stayed at Sofitel Noosa, in one of their newly renovated rooms, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff being incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and had a fantastic view. I was particularly impressed with the elegant and stylish looking mini bar, which was stocked with a great selection of beverages. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were always attentive, friendly, and eager to assist with any request. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Especially indulging in the delicious cuisine from in-room dining. Overall, my stay at the Sofitel Noosa was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience. I can't wait to return!

Warm welcome and room not ready so given a glass of bubbles whilst waiting. Arrived to our room and completely blown away. It was stunning, so beautifully decorated with everything you needed and more. Had a beautiful terrace area and we think the room was virtually untouched. Unfortunately we had a couple of issues regarding payment on and after check out but otherwise was a truly wonderful stay. Lots of refurbishment going on but didn’t really impact our stay. If we didn’t have issues at the end would definitely have been 10/10!

I was really impressed by the size of my room at this resort. Not only that but there was a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The room had everything that I expected to see in a 5 star establishment, including slippers that actually came in different sizes. I was greeted by friendly service from the front desk staff and they very kindly accommodated my request for orange juice when I arrived. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the shops and restaurants at Noosa and backing on to the river. I left feeling relaxed and happy.

Attention Romanta and Maddy, Just a short note to thank you, and the entire Sofitel Noosa Team, for our wonderful Thomas Family holiday last week. We had an amazing time, and everything you put into place worked better than our expectations. From the moment we arrived, your Concierge / Reception team greeted us and made us feel very welcome. In fact, all of your magnificent teams that we interacted with were friendly and professional, including your Porters to your wonderful Housekeeping people, your Breakfast Buffet team, your Pool / Bar team and your excellent Room Service facilities. Also, your newly renovated Rooms, your fantastic swimming pool and your ideal location in Noosa all made our stay unforgettable. But the real “clincher” is your People, including you and Maddy, and everyone at Sofitel Noosa whom we came into contact with. We would also like to thank you for the additional attention that we all received, from the magnificent bunch of flowers, the numerous beautiful fruit platters, the Cabana facility and of course, your sumptuous buffet breakfasts which we all enjoyed. Our entire Thomas Family would like to thank you all for creating an unforgetttable family holiday, which we will always remember. Good luck with your renovations, (which didn’t detract one bit from our enjoyment) and I’m sure that you’ll see the Thomas Family again at Sofitel Noosa ! Take care ..... Bruce Thomas ( the “old” one)

I booked as part of a conference without significant reduction in price beyond that expected for a conference. There was significant noise from building works. During the stay, there was absent wifi for parts of the complex, to the extent that we could not order food via QR code around the pool. This was escalated to poolside staff who seemed not to really care, and said that was just how it was, and it had been terrible during the renovations. This issue persisted in multiple areas of the hotel for 3 of the 5 days we were there. At the time, a 5G tower was apparently also down, compounding the problem. From line of sight, we could see that a mobile tower is attached to the roof of the resort, so presumably the building works may have also thrown that out. We were not notified prior to our stay that resort facility were out of action, and were obviously just expected to deal with the inconvenience. There is clearly likely to be an inconvenience with major works, and there was. However, it felt really rude that we were paying $500 per night, and not really getting the same experience that we would have got at another time. The wifi being down in multiple areas was very difficult to deal with - no adequate room wifi, no downstairs business centre or similar and we really had to travel a significant distance to even get adequate 5G. That should have been fixed, and promptly.

Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort|We had such a lovely stay in Noosa at the Sofitel. The hotel is going through a major refurbishment this year and with a name change to the Elysium to what will no doubt be a very luxurious experience. We were advised that there may be some disruption with the main restaurant being closed during our stay. Having enjoyed a restful holiday here four years ago we were still wishing to spend a few days in the sunshine. ||It should be noted that we had also chosen the busiest time of the year to visit with the triathlon being held over the weekend of our stay and some 8000 plus competitors and 40 000 visitors in attendance. A test for any hotel one would imagine. Here is my honest impressions of the Sofitel in what was a very busy time to be visiting Noosa.||We had a lovely welcome at reception with Janice, who made sure we were very well looked after. We were offered one of the newly refurbished rooms as an upgrade on level four. On entering our room, 408, everything looked and felt brand new. We may well have been the first couple to stay in this room. ||Although building and room refurbishments were still taking place with just over sixty rooms in the hotel in operation during our stay, we were not effected by the building activities taking place. Management were extremely careful about informing us of any interruptions if there were to be any, which we appreciated.||Our room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed, lots of storage space, tea and coffee making facilities and one of the best stocked mini bars we have seen for quite some time. The bathroom was large and had both a walk in shower and a spa bath.||The Riviera Bar on the ground floor near reception was a comfortable nook to enjoy an evening drink before heading out to Hastings Street for dinner each night. Ella in the bar was particularly accommodating and kind on each of the evenings we visited. She made us feel very welcome and was very attentive.||In fact all the staff at the hotel were wonderful! From the concierge team who helped with bags and umbrellas, to Janice in reception and the fabulous pool staff, Sophie and Joanna who also cared for us at breakfast. We couldn’t have felt better looked after. Also looking after us at the pool was Tora and Lena who always checked on us. Thank you!||Breakfast each morning was on the undercover lily pond patio. Rani, Donna, Stevie, Mohammad and all those whose names we did not learn were so professional and welcoming. Breakfasts were a daily highlight during our stay. Coffee was excellent!| |A big thank you to Jamaica who went out of her way to assist us with our washing when we were seeking advice on the location of the nearest laundromat. Jamaica insisted on having the hotel laundry do our washing which was so kind and greatly appreciated. Thank you also to Joanna and Lilah at reception who assisted with a printing request so patiently and with a smile.||To Madi and the other tireless housekeepers whom we met, Kristina and Bella who along with the team maintained our room during our stay, thank you! To the attendants who maintained the gym which was very well set up and the staff at the Aqua Spa, thank you. I enjoyed a daily visit to the gym and my wife loved her spa treatment.||As you might have guessed, we had a wonderful five night stay at the Sofitel. A hotel undergoing a major refresh and one that we will be returning to soon. We sometimes read reviews that are somewhat critical during our search for accommodation when travelling. ||This hotel is worthy of all the other positive reviews and everyone who works there should feel particularly proud of what they have already achieved and what is to come. Thank you to the General Manager, Mark Wilkinson and his team whose welcome letter and daily notices kept us informed on the activities around the hotel.||On a side note, I only write reviews that offer praise where deserved. One comment I received from an earlier review was that it had been generated using AI, this is not nor has it ever been the case with my reviews. I am just another traveller who is grateful and appreciative of the opportunities my wife and I have to travel as we do, now that we have retired. ||I will leave critical reviews of hotel stays for others.

After an unfortunate incident where the room we had booked for 3 nights was flooded, there was no room left at the hotel for the first 2 nights of our stay. The Sofitel staff were so incredible with this situation, before we had even arrived they had organised accommodation at a nearby hotel at half price and completely comped the 3rd night at the Sofitel itself. Not only that but they went out of their way to hand deliver a charcuterie board and a lovely bottle of champagne at our replacement accommodation as a an apology. When we finally did get to the Sofitel on our third night, they kindly came to our other hotel to hand collect our bags and transfer them for us. A second charcuterie board and sparkling wine were also complimentary along with breakfast and dinner too. The hotel itself was lovely, we had one of the newly renovated rooms which are gorgeous and very nicely appointed. We have already booked another stay as 1 night was not enough! From an unfortunate situation, the staff, Romanta and Michael in particular were incredibly kind and apologetic for the room issue. Very much looking forward to returning.

The resort is in a prime location—right on Hastings Street with easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Staff were warm, helpful, and professional, which made the stay pleasant overall. However, the room itself felt quite dated and didn’t match the luxury you'd expect for the price point. For what you're paying, you'd expect a more modern and refreshed space. While the location and service are definite highlights, the room condition doesn’t quite justify the high cost.

Yelp
This hotel is no longer a Sheraton, it is known as the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort. Quite nice. Large quiet rooms and well-taken-care-of grounds. Haven't had the chance to check out the beach or pool yet, but hope to do so before I leave. Down sides? Takes a surprisingly long time to get anything approaching hot water in my 6th floor room's shower.

Yelp
Conveniently located on the main strip, and a quick walk to the beach, the recently-renovated Sheraton Noosa was great for our Easter getaway. We didn't try the bar in the middle of the pool... because the friendly staff had upgraded us to a spacious 'lifestyle' room with a balcony hot tub.

Yelp
Excellent hotel to stay for families and couples - sensational heated swimming pool for all and the property's location right on Hastings St is very convenient. Highly recommended. - John Castle shared his experience via TravelOnline. More Sheraton Noosa reviews at http://www.travelonline.com/sunshine-coast/noosa/accommodation/sheraton-noosa-resort-and-spa
