The resort is in a prime location—right on Hastings Street with easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Staff were warm, helpful, and professional, which made the stay pleasant overall. However, the room itself felt quite dated and didn’t match the luxury you'd expect for the price point. For what you're paying, you'd expect a more modern and refreshed space. While the location and service are definite highlights, the room condition doesn’t quite justify the high cost.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, and it quickly became one of our favorite hotels during our 2.5-week trip across Australia. We originally only planned for one night as a stopover, a decision we instantly regretted. We truly wish we had extended our stay to two or three nights at this wonderful property. Our room was incredibly spacious, and the balcony offered a peaceful retreat. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff – every single person we encountered was genuinely happy and incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, too. While it's not directly beach-facing, it's just a short, pleasant walk to the beautiful beach and the bustling shopping and dining precinct. Despite a very late check-in, we still received excellent assistance with our bags and parking. The breakfast buffet was delightful and easily one of our top hotel breakfast experiences of the entire trip. A pleasant surprise was how quickly our room service arrived, much faster than expected! We also took advantage of the Aqua Day Spa located right at the hotel. The spa staff were so friendly and a pleasure to talk with, and the spa experience itself was one of the best I've ever had. The hotel pool was advertised as heated, though it wasn't particularly warm during our winter visit. Overall, the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort offers a truly exceptional experience, combining comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. We can't recommend it enough!

My wife and I have not stayed at the Sofitel in Noosa for a long time and it was like meeting up with an old friend again, that is, apart from having trouble finding the entrance. Greeted like long lost friends and offered a glass of bubbly on arrival while we waited for access to our room. |A large, bright airy room on reception level and with all the ammenities we needed.|The hotel is superbly located towards the end of Hastings Street but reception is reached via Noosa Parade.|No formal restaurant but dinner is available at Noosa Beach House, which is part of the hotel. Very much the bar scene, so no formal dining. Our experience there for dinner not a great experience, however, breakfast was a different story.|As usual, the staff everywhere within the hotel were fabulous and we will certainly be returning in the not so distant future.

Being our 20 year anniversary, we were super excited to get the 5 star experience. We’d chosen a village view room as it looked good in the advertising. Once in there, we were edging to pop a champagne on our balcony to celebrate our milestone only to be met with a view of walls and a stairwell. Not happy, we requested another room. This one at least had a balcony, with a view of a busy ferry terminal. As we sipped our wine with people staring up at us, I noticed how mouldy and run down the balcony was. The tiles were scuffed and chipped and there was a direct view on both side of walls of what your neighbours were up to. Inside the bed bases had what appeared to be old splatter and stains on the edges, the arm of the sofa was dirty and the TV was ancient and there was no ability to stream music. The jets in the bath tub also appeared mouldy killing any chance we’d use it. The staff seemed nice and the breakfast was great, but this was a 2 star experience at best.

My friends and I stayed here for a night. We had a room with a river view. It was lovely. All staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable and warm. Mack and Mackenzie were fantastic making sure they had my drink at the bar. So very thoughtful and nice of them. I would recommend Sofitel Noosa. I will be back with the family next time.

Let's start with the positives. The location is fantastic. Right on Hastings Street and easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, cafes, bars, the main beach and the national park. Beautiful pool and facilities. The meals and cocktails I had were delicious. Guest services, cleaning staff and some reception staff were friendly. The bed was very comfortable.||Now, the negatives. ||I feel some of the staff could have been warmer and friendlier, especially on the food and beverage side (at the Beach House). There is one younger blonde woman at the Beach House who is quite rude. Some staff at reception also have an attitude. I like to feel welcome when I stay somewhere. ||There was a problem at check-in. The man who checked me in tried to upsell me to a pool view room. I told him I was happy with what I had booked (the village view with balcony) based on the pics and description at booking.com. He also confirmed it had "a view of the town". But when I entered the room, it became clear there was absolutely no village view - the view was of a wall and some plants. There was no balcony. The pictures of the view on booking.com did not match the reality at all. I went back to reception to discuss this, where the girl behind the desk started arguing with me, telling me I booked through a third party (booking.com) and should have booked direct. Sorry, but the hotel is selling rooms through booking.com. If you do not want to sell rooms through booking.com, then don't. And what did that have to do with the issue anyway? The guy who checked me in then moved me one floor up to a pool view room, so I was happy with that. ||The breakfast items are tasty and plentiful but it takes ages to get a coffee in the morning. It can be hard to find someone to take your coffee order and then, after you order it, it takes a long time to come out. There is rarely somebody to greet you when you enter for breakfast, so you usually have to seat yourself. Which is fine - but then they seem miffed when you seat yourself. If guests are supposed to be seated by a member of staff, then you should greet guests on entry and seat them! ||My room looked lovely but had a musty/mouldy smell when the aircon was on, which wasn't very pleasant. ||Minibar items weren't replaced after I used them. For some reason, they stopped restocking them after the first night. ||Overall, my experience was mixed and not quite what I expect from a hotel at this price point and star rating.

We recently stayed at this property and booked a “village view” room. However, to actually see the village, you had to walk to the edge of the deck, as the view from inside the room was limited to a roof in your direct line of sight. The room itself felt quite dated, with stained carpets and a couch that looked like it had seen better days. It just didn’t meet the 5-star expectations I had. It’s such a shame because the front reception staff were fantastic—welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience a bit better. Overall, while the staff were great, the room didn’t live up to the standards I was hoping for. Wasn’t worth the $1,700 for two nights which is a shame for the first experience to Noosa.

Everything from booking, checking in throughout our stay was wonderful. Enjoyed the amenities on offer and perfectly situated so that you can park your car and forget about it then walk wherever you need to go in the beautiful village. The only blemish on our little break was that the king bed in our room had a very lumpy and uncomfortable mattress.

Yelp
This hotel is no longer a Sheraton, it is known as the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort. Quite nice. Large quiet rooms and well-taken-care-of grounds. Haven't had the chance to check out the beach or pool yet, but hope to do so before I leave. Down sides? Takes a surprisingly long time to get anything approaching hot water in my 6th floor room's shower.

Yelp
Conveniently located on the main strip, and a quick walk to the beach, the recently-renovated Sheraton Noosa was great for our Easter getaway. We didn't try the bar in the middle of the pool... because the friendly staff had upgraded us to a spacious 'lifestyle' room with a balcony hot tub.

Yelp
Excellent hotel to stay for families and couples - sensational heated swimming pool for all and the property's location right on Hastings St is very convenient.
